His evaluation process acknowledged all that was shared and was highly efficient, taking into account all aspects of his patients' cases. It is rare for me to be so impressed by a physician. The administrative staff were warm, welcoming, and easy to communicate with, which made for a pleasant initial interaction. Unfortunately, my consultation with Dr. Loffredo did not meet professional expectations. During our brief interaction, approximately 10 minutes, he was dismissive and spoke over me throughout the conversation. Despite asking questions, he repeatedly interrupted my responses, which made it difficult to feel heard or respected as a patient. Additionally, the nurse present in the room demonstrated a similar lack of professionalism. As a nurse myself, I hold fellow healthcare professionals to a high standard, and I found the behavior of both Dr. Loffredo and his nurse to be discourteous and unprofessional. Following the appointment, Dr. Loffredo contacted me by phone and spoke in a manner I found abrupt and inappropriate. Given the nature of this experience, I would not return to this practice, regardless of cost. While I had heard positive things about Cape & Islands Plastic Surgery, I can only assume those reviews pertain to other providers within the practice!

I also questioned her license as she did not appear on the Massachusetts medical professional license website. I was given paperwork to prove she trained and was licensed in Colorado. My primary reviewed the expensive test she ordered and was confused that a simple cortisol test was not done. I cancelled my follow up appointment after she prescribed a medication not covered by my insurance. Unfortunately until there is better organization in this office I would recommend exploring other options.

I can honestly say that Dr. H is extremely professional yet personable. His explanations in matters of procedures are clear, thorough and articulate. The only downside to that is because of this you may have a lengthy time in the waiting room. Personally, I would rather wait longer and receive top quality care. Besides, candy crush and Facebook pass the time. Everyone at Dr. H's office is super sweet. I have not had a single negative experience here. Dr. Heywood cared for me during my first pregnancy. (Yes!
