Before I even get started, I apologize for not taking a photo..... I know ‍. But know, I enjoyed my meal, I got the two fried chicken tender sliders combo with a red hi-c.. Notice I said "red" . I pulled over in the parking lot to eat, due to my home being 20 mins away. I had to eat my food fresh and plus I was hungry. I tasted one of the fries and it was fresh and all and to my surprise the sauce wasn't half bad, tasted a little bit different than the other chicken tender places.. the sliders were fried to perfection and even the bread was crispy and all. The Red Hi-C was on point as well I must say, my next trip to Dothan will be soon to try more on their menu. Before I rank it among the other chicken joints, ima have to try just a little more and make sure their consistency is on point. read more

Goldfingers is the local chicken finger chain with 3 locations around Dothan. I had never ate at this location. It seemed smaller than the other 2. I also eat the chicken fingers but last time I ate at Goldfingers, I promised myself I would try the wings. That was a good promise to keep. I went with the 12 wing dinner that came with fries and toast. Drink I had to pay for separate. I was able to choose 2 flavors. I went with Honey BBQ and Gold Rush. It seemed like I received all drumettes, which I prefer. It was just odd though. However, the wings might be my new favorite entree instead of chicken fingers. The Honey BBQ was what you would expect and no heat. The Gold Rush was a mustard type BBQ sauce. The fries were fresh and crinkle cut. And I received some special sauce. My sweet tea was refreshingly sweet! The only disappointment was that the top of my wings were hard on a few and the wings were small compared to other wing joints. read more

We ordered thru takeout star for pickup in the restaurant. After we picked up our food and got home, we noticed we were shorted the corn nuggets we had ordered. I called and spoke with the manager and sent my son to pick them up. When he got there they told him that they did not know anything about the missing corn nuggets. So I went back to the restaurant myself. When I got there, they said that they had checked with the manager and she had eventually given the corn nuggets to my son. So it took us three trips to Goldfingers to get the order right. I would not order online from them, unless you have plenty of gas in your car and time to make several trips to get everything you ordered! read more

I feel like I had a review like this not long ago. But I don't feel like I got the full Goldfingers experience. With that said, what I did have was amazing and I have zero complaints. Which in my book is as five stars as an experience like this can be. I am currently restricting my carb intake. Which chicken fingers aren't the best for in the world. But you would be surprised that it can fit in a low carb lifestyle. So when I needed a fast lunch near Grove Park, this made the most sense. But because of that, I had to forgo the fries. And since I was in a hurry, the drive-thru made sense. I have never been to another Goldfingers, so I don't have that to compare it to. But enough about what I didn't experience and more about what I did. The chicken fingers were exceptional. They were a good size where they weren't overly breaded yet not big hunks of chicken. The seasonings and spices were really good and they came out fresh and hot. This place is the epitome of being a diamond in the rough. I'm surprised I'm the first to make a review here. The service is great, the restaurant is clean, and the food has never been bad. I've actually never found anything wrong with anything I've gotten there. You can tell by looking at your food that they care. Totally messed up my order for a wedding. I have tried to discuss the matter with a manager and/or owner. Cannot get anyone to call me back. Have called several times and have gone by in person to resolve this to no avail. I ordered 2 trays of 24 and 1 of 12 chicken fingers to go to 3 different locations in different church buildings to feed different wedding groups. These were simple classroom types in different church buildings. Goldfingers decided to send everything in 1 container. I had no way to separate the items for the 3 different locations. I had napkins but no covered container to keep the chicken covered until time you serve -- as I paid for them to be in separate trays. I discussed it thoroughly when I ordered the trays. Each item was rung up separately. Total cost was over $60.00. The only offer I have received is a 5$ coupon. I will be contacting the local chamber of commerce to file a complaint as the restaurant has chosen not to try to resolve this with me. read more

I prefer Zaxbys but the chicken here is ok. I started going to goldfingers a few years ago because, unlike zaxbys, they didn't charge for "sauce." That has always been my beef with zaxbys, canes, etc. They charge a fairly large markup on chicken, so the sauce should be included just like any other fast food restaurant. Well goldfingers didn't charge for sauce so I felt it was more customer friendly. But now they do. Costs more to eat at goldenfingers. Chicken isn't as good. And now they charge for sauce. When I explained that this was one of the reasons people had chosen to eat with them over zaxbys, etc. I was just told by management that all the chicken places "charge for sauce;" even chik-fil-a. I told the lady I've eaten at chik-fil-a more than 100 times and never paid for a sauce. After that, I just walked out. I don't mind paying for quality food, but I"m not gonna be nickle and dimed to death. Plus, I"ve now discovered McDonalds has started offering a "signature" sauce which is the same flavor as zaxbys, etc. So if I get a craving for that flavor, now I go to McD's where the sauce is free and the buttermilk chicken is much improved. I doubt I'll ever go to goldfingers again. read more

We have not been disappointed by any Goldfingers location, and this one particularly shines! There's a spacious dining room with high ceilings and even some nicely shaded outdoor seating. The staff are very polite and have great customer service. The food is tasty, and the tea is sweet, but the people and the space are what really set this place apart. read more
