The instructor (Allison!) did a great job of explaining, making sure we understood, and allowing us to - sometimes - ask the same question repeatedly. She was patient, professional, and passionate. Periodically through the class workshop, we were given the opportunity to practice what we were learning. Allison often took time to speak one-on-one with each student insuring we all stayed together and fully grasped the concepts. During the first visit, Ms. Laxmi spent a good bit of time with our child, making him comfortable (he is a shy kid), and discussed her passion in early childhood education and her credentials. She also put our mind at ease, w.r.t. COVID precautions. We were skeptical before the tour but came away with the impression that Ms. Laxmi is truly passionate about her work and should give Mindful Montessori a try. It turned out to be one of the BEST decisions that we have taken with respect to our child's education. Ms. Laxmi and Mr. Veera had converted their basement into the school and had thoughtfully designed every aspect of the school. They had paid significant attention to the safety of the children. There is a large gated + fenced area in the backyard where the children can play. The school was well stocked with Montessori teaching aids. Our son had attended daycare since age 1 and was not an enthusiastic schoolgoer. Within the first couple of weeks of attending Mindful Montessori, he was truly excited to go to school. Ms. Laxmi embraced the Montessori method fully and encouraged our kid in areas where he naturally excelled. It built enough confidence in him to explore other areas where he was challenged. He did not enjoy painting, especially wearing the smock. He was forced to wear it in his previous school, which made him not enjoy mandatory art time. However, Ms. Laxmi explained to him the benefits of wearing the smock but gave him the choice to not wear it. Eventually, in a month, our child started to wear the smock on his own, without any prompting as he realized the benefits. He had gone from hating painting, to loving it. Her teaching methods are second to none. She follows the Montessori curriculum and stays true to the spirit of Dr. Montessori. We could see significant improvements in our child's skills across the board (writing, reading, Math and Science). In the beginning our child was struggling to write, but with her seemingly unlimited patience Ms. Laxmi was able to get our child to write, and later write well. Most importantly, she ensured that our child never felt it as punishment to do work, even if he did not enjoy doing it. He also learnt a lot of life skills that he wouldn't have learnt elsewhere. She had a special focus on overall personal development such as washing hands, wearing his jacket, organizing and cleaning up. She would send out weekly summary of activities, with pictures and notes that went beyond the typical reports received at day-care centers. She also provided quarterly detailed evaluation reports and discussed the reports with us in a 1:1 meeting. We have strongly recommended Mindful Montessori to our friends and neighbors and will continue to do so. Our child attended Mindful Montessori for just one year, but I can truly say that Ms. Laxmi has given him a strong foundation to grow on.

The Feinberg Method is not like Stanislovski or any of the late great acting philosophers, the Feinberg method gives every actor or actress a template to use to make their own method. Because it's located in a private residential area there is a intimacy to this park that you may not find in other Roswell area park. However just because it's semi private doesn't mean you should leave your kids unattended...the park is kind of off to the side of the road so there are still cars driving by so if you're playing catch with Frodo the dog. Because we walked past it everyday, multiple times per day, while we were in Atlanta and on the final day we decided to actually walk through it and I thought it was a nice memorial/place to sit if you're making your way downtown and want to take a rest. I thought this was helpful as a drop-in, especially, to have different coaches perspectives.
