Surprised at how fairly clean this place was. They are very persistent and quick when you sign up. Signed up for the "free" lessons up to 7 months old; with just paying the $25 membership fee. That is a good deal if you go every week, for sure. A lesson is usually $33 which is crazy expensive. Had to dock a star because they definitely dock 3 minutes from your 30min lesson. Assuming it's to give time for the transition between classes, but that comes at a cost for the paying customers. I know it's only 3 minutes, but a 30min class is already so short. Wish there were more dryers because there's always a line for it. read more

Happened upon the Goldfish Swim School in Media while shopping at the Petco in the same shopping center. What a happy accident! My son and his wife both work and can't take their kids to swim lessons, that usually are offered only during the day and the summer. So we grandparents stepped in and have our grandson going here. My husband says it is like Margaritaville for the toddler set. Bright, fun place. But what makes it all the best are the great instructors and staff. Chris is so patient with our reluctant swimmer. She was encouraging, persistent and fun. Our reluctant swimmer now can't wait to go to lessons! She had many tricks up her sleeve to encourage him. Heidi is also great. When I expressed interest online, but then forgot about it, she called and her encouragement and knowledge led to us enrolling. Feel so good that our grandson is happy learning to swim and safer around water! Would highly recommend! read more

Facility is brand new, clean, parking is limited. Their staff is great, very helpful and informative. The 30 minute classes for junior 1 can have up to 4 swimmers in the lane, they spend very little time in the water. Only one swimmer in the lane at the time. Ultimately you're paying for your child to sit on the edge of the pool versus actual swimming. Classes may be better during the day time hours, but the evening classes are packed. We did two sessions (total of 8 classes) but both were the same, there's a lot of none swimming activity. So while the facility and staff are nice, naturally the business is focused on how many students we can take, not the quality of the lesson. read more

Absolutely LOVE LOVE Goldfish swim! The facility is clean, you can see through the glass (no fog) so you can watch your child as they swim. They also have a mini drying machine for swimwear, there's a hair dryer station, oh and they have Pampers in case you forget yours. But the best thing is the interaction with the littles, it is great. You aren't just another body in the pool, the instructors remember your child's name and uses it often. They demonstrate each move, not just the first class but each class. My son has Mr. R (Raheem), who is personable and good with the littles. He always has a smile on his face and keeps his cool when my son doesn't want to do certain activities. I absolutely recommend. read more

We LOVE Goldfish. Everyone is awesome, but we're big fans of Ms. Heidi! Our 2 year old son really bonded and built trust with her quickly because she is so gentle and patient. She really is so kind and gives us updates each week of the milestones our son has met. Aside from the wonderful Ms. Heidi, we've loved all the other teachers, lifeguards and staff. The location is immaculately maintained and very accommodating. There are individual changing rooms, baby changing stations, soap is available in the shower area that is located in the heated pool so the kiddies stay cozy, and they have the cutest little blow dry station. And on top of it all the rates are very affordable! Can't say enough great things about this place. read more

Goldfish swim is my son's new favorite place. Brand new and beautiful done in expert kid friendly decor. The enrollment process can be done completely online. A short questionnaire will guide you to a class consistent child's level of competency. I'm really happy to have them close by- the other pools I was looking at prior to their opening just weren't "it." The staff is extremely helpful and attentive. What an amazing swim school! We've tried a few others and this by far is the best! EVERYONE there is so kind, so attentive and really take the extra step to make every child feel safe and comfortable! They are very accommodating if you need to switch days etc! We've been blessed with a few teachers to help Julius but now we are enrolled in Mr. Eric's Thursday night class! He's AWESOME! Patience of a saint (our little one LOVES to talk)He takes the extra time to really focus on each child's needs! He answers all the questions we have and is so encouraging!
