I'll drop an unconventional five star review of Goldie's. I joined donuts and dancing day time party at Goldie's this weekend hosted by Sunsets.CLE and Cleveland Vibes. There were donuts, good vibes, house music, and local DJ's. It was amazing to witness this event in Cleveland, all the positive energy! I want to share why I loved visiting Goldie's! Goldie's has a small storefront with comfy seating and open layout. It's adjacent to luxury apartments, so you can just walk in from the lobby if you're a resident. Even if you're not a resident, still stop by! The store has ample natural light. I could just picture myself working from there on an ordinary weekday. Donuts are very well made, and there's plenty of variety. I heard many people scream over the music - "so good" in reference to donuts. I ordered and tasted chocolate donut and glazed twist donut. Both were super fresh. They had just the right amount of sugar without being too much. I was very happy with how they tasted! Most guests ordered boxes full and seemed to get more. I also ordered a large coffee which had a great caffeine kick! If you're not too into coffee, there's also a cooler with other NA iced choices. I loved their merch. Cute baseball hats and shirts. My fave - "Bake the world a better place." You can also get a new Goldie's cup. Compared to other Goldie's locations this one seems to have a more modern millennial vibe. It's hip and fun. It's a great addition to the local business landscape. In terms of customer service, it's excellent. Who I assume to be a manager or owner was onsite during the event ensuring that everyone is completely happy. Many guests seemed to know him personally and he was extremely friendly. Considering the volume of guests the staff did outstanding, kept the line going, and had positive attitudes. If you're hosting an event, definitely consider this location. They can handle large influx of customers. All around, I loved it at Goldie's! Music or not, this place is such a gem. Stop by for your next sweet morning craving! I know I will!

I moved to the city recently and finally found a donut shop I love! My work sent me a bag of donuts and a coffee. The coffee was great and robust. The donuts were fantastic. The old fashioned, chocolate frosted, and glazed donuts were perfect. They were packed well so they were delivered in tact. Can't wait to try them at the store next time!

WOW. There was a local IGA tbat sold donuts like this forever ago and I miss it. Homestyle, enormous, delicious and enticing to the eye, these donuts are some of the best I've had. The wait staff was a little irritated that I came in almost at closing (they should be) but I hope I can add some customers to their fanbase from my review to make up for it because everything we tried was heaven. A little shop with a fun atmosphere and clean to boot, come here if you want to arrive in need of sugar and leave feeling like a kid eating cotton candy.

I had a cookie butter latte , and a custard filled chocolate donut both was good , but really didn't taste the cookie butter. Service was great quick and easy. Nice clean space nice ambiance.

I visited in June 2023 with a friend. Customer service was wonderful and the woman working behind the counter was friendly and helpful. I tried a donut (plain donut) which was fine. I didn't think it was anything special plus it tasted dry. My friend enjoyed the chocolate covered donut that she got which had cream inside it. Support local and come try this donut shop if you haven't already. I suggest coming earlier in the day so that you can get a fresh donut. **** GOAL of 365 reviews in 2025 - 21/365 total reviews in 2025 - 802 total overall Yelp reviews - Reviewed on 1 January 2025

Their sign said #1 donuts in Cleveland and now they are #1 in my donut loving heart. These are the good old fashioned classics I have been waiting for. They don't have any of the donuts labeled, so be prepared as everyone in front of you in line asks for descriptions of all the mystery donuts in the case. In spite of this, the line moves pretty quickly. The gal working was so sweet and patient with her repeated donut flavor descriptions. They do sell out of stuff, so the earlier the better. They also have coffee.

Tasty quick donuts. Old fashioned yet satisfying. I had heard quite a few good things about goodies they did not disappoint. From yeast to cake doughnuts Cinnamon rolls and glazed croissants.

I am a fan of Goldies donuts! They have some of the best sour cream, chocolate cake, and blueberry cake, glazed donuts. They're all very tender and I have a sweet crusty glaze. The apple fritters are humongous and are wonderful if you heat them in the oven for a few minutes. The fritters are full of fruit and well spiced with cinnamon and generously glazed. I usually pair a pastry with one of their mocha's with oat milk.

Goldie's has quickly become one of my favorites in Cleveland. Their cake donuts are fantastic, especially the sour cream donuts! Two things I wish, they made maple bars and more cake donut options.

The first thing you notice is the huge line. We had heard good things about Goldie's and clearly it is a popular place. It has been on our list to visit for a while. It looks like your typical corner donut shop. The case was full of bakery items and donuts were behind the counter. It was a smaller dining area, so with the amount of people it was a little crowded. The blueberry donut was very fresh and flavorful. Unlike other blueberry donuts there were no blueberries in the donut. The Boston Cream also tasted very fresh, but did not have much cream in the center. I am not sure Goldie's would be our go to for donuts. They were good, but there are other donut shops we prefer.

These are the best donuts in Cleveland!! Absolutely love their light fluffiness. Yum!

Tried Goldie's on a recommendation. They are good donuts. The glazed croissant was really good, better than the donuts honestly. Lots of choices for flavors.

Both were delicious! The biscuit was perfectly buttery, and it was covered in a rich, flavorful mushroom gravy and came with scrambled eggs. It was filling but somehow not too heavy. It was topped with a thin layer of rhubarb jam that brought a nice tartness along with a dollop of sorghum butter and whipped cream, and served with Ohio maple syrup on the side. I could have easily had a whole stack of the pancakes. The staff was friendly, and though the place was busy, the service was efficient. Excited to come here again! We shared the loco moski, paprikash sandwich, and a side of bacon wrapped tots (good option if you just want 2 and not the full appetizer). While the bacon wrapped tots are famous from Food Network's Diners, Drive-ins, and Dives, I actually liked the loco moski and paprikash sandwich more. The loco moski is a fun combination between a loco moco but with pierogi, and I like that the peppered gravy wasn't too rich. The paprikash sandwich was also a great combo of chicken, sausage, peppers, cheese, paprikash, on lightly crispy bread. Parking available as free street parking--though you may have to circle to find parking since it's near the Christmas House. Staff were nice and efficient. The place does feel a little tight in terms of space with less lighting, but there's still plenty of seating and what matters to me more is good food. Overall, great place to try local food. Would get the loco moski and paprikash sandwich again.

I wanted to try the pierogi and the Polish boy and the KRAUT and having an extensive beer menu doesn't hurt either. Friendly neighborhood watering hole literally on the corner and basically across the street from the a Christmas story house allowing you to eat within eye sight of the leg lamp. I wanted basically everything from the menu that came vegan (spoiler alert there are tons and tons of things) but gastric space comes at a premium on vacation so we settled on the fried cheese. I was very excited to see the Polish boy (and vegan option no less) I didn't have much of a choice. GF ordered the vegan pierogi platter with vegan kielbasa on a bed of kraut. Firstly the fried cheese was head and shoulders above any mozz sticks or anything of the sort that I have had in memory. The breading is seasoned and crispy and heaven on earth. The cheese is PIPING. Like you will burn yourself if you, like me, have no patience. The accompanying tomato sauce is also steaming. So good. The Polish boy was also in a league of its own. Love that they have a vegan version. What a combo. Probably one of Cleveland's most important community contributions. We ordered the latkes to go and they were orgasmic. What a special place.

We were totally fine with that, went and grabbed a coffee from a local shop, and then returned to the restaurant. Food was great and the server was so kind! The reason for the 3-star review is because the hostess was very rude. She completely shattered an easy 5-star review. We had nine people in the family, and one was golfing. We intended to put in a takeout order for him but due to the 45-minute wait, he ended up finishing before we were even seated. We invited him to come along and then we were called to be sat. We ordered his meal for him prior to him arriving and this was still a major problem for the hostess. She basically threatened to move us back outside and told us we were "holding the table" even though we would have never done that. Instead of giving me the opportunity to explain to her we would have done takeout anyways had he not arrived(but he did because again, it was a 45 minute wait), she just continued to talk over me. It made all of us very uncomfortable and the first 10 minutes we felt very on edge and unwelcomed. She then did the same thing to our ninth person when they walked in the restaurant 5 minutes after. He had no idea what had already occurred and was also caught off guard. Most of us worked in this industry in the past, and we thought we were doing the right thing by letting her know. Thank you to everyone else who helped soften our experience. It was very appreciated. Every person who brought a dish to our table was extremely kind. We all had something different on the menu and there were no complaints!

It was seemingly cooked in the paper that it was served in so the top of the bread pieces were crunchy, the middle was softer and then everything else was completely stuck to the paper. I didn't get to eat about 1/3 of what I paid for and I had to work really hard for the other 1/3. Also, the bread had a very spicy taste. It must have been cinnamon and allspice, but it was entirely too much and very overpowering. It truly tasted like a spicy savory bread which is not what I was expecting or wanted.
