To go bag

I moved to the city recently and finally found a donut shop I love! My work sent me a bag of donuts and a coffee. The coffee was great and robust. The donuts were fantastic. The old fashioned, chocolate frosted, and glazed donuts were perfect. They were packed well so they were delivered in tact. Can't wait to try them at the store next time!

WOW. There was a local IGA tbat sold donuts like this forever ago and I miss it. Homestyle, enormous, delicious and enticing to the eye, these donuts are some of the best I've had. The wait staff was a little irritated that I came in almost at closing (they should be) but I hope I can add some customers to their fanbase from my review to make up for it because everything we tried was heaven. A little shop with a fun atmosphere and clean to boot, come here if you want to arrive in need of sugar and leave feeling like a kid eating cotton candy.

I had a cookie butter latte , and a custard filled chocolate donut both was good , but really didn't taste the cookie butter. Service was great quick and easy. Nice clean space nice ambiance.

I visited in June 2023 with a friend. Customer service was wonderful and the woman working behind the counter was friendly and helpful. I tried a donut (plain donut) which was fine. I didn't think it was anything special plus it tasted dry. My friend enjoyed the chocolate covered donut that she got which had cream inside it. Support local and come try this donut shop if you haven't already. I suggest coming earlier in the day so that you can get a fresh donut. **** GOAL of 365 reviews in 2025 - 21/365 total reviews in 2025 - 802 total overall Yelp reviews - Reviewed on 1 January 2025

Their sign said #1 donuts in Cleveland and now they are #1 in my donut loving heart. These are the good old fashioned classics I have been waiting for. They don't have any of the donuts labeled, so be prepared as everyone in front of you in line asks for descriptions of all the mystery donuts in the case. In spite of this, the line moves pretty quickly. The gal working was so sweet and patient with her repeated donut flavor descriptions. They do sell out of stuff, so the earlier the better. They also have coffee.

Tasty quick donuts. Old fashioned yet satisfying. I had heard quite a few good things about goodies they did not disappoint. From yeast to cake doughnuts Cinnamon rolls and glazed croissants.

I am a fan of Goldies donuts! They have some of the best sour cream, chocolate cake, and blueberry cake, glazed donuts. They're all very tender and I have a sweet crusty glaze. The apple fritters are humongous and are wonderful if you heat them in the oven for a few minutes. The fritters are full of fruit and well spiced with cinnamon and generously glazed. I usually pair a pastry with one of their mocha's with oat milk.

Goldie's has quickly become one of my favorites in Cleveland. Their cake donuts are fantastic, especially the sour cream donuts! Two things I wish, they made maple bars and more cake donut options.

The first thing you notice is the huge line. We had heard good things about Goldie's and clearly it is a popular place. It has been on our list to visit for a while. It looks like your typical corner donut shop. The case was full of bakery items and donuts were behind the counter. It was a smaller dining area, so with the amount of people it was a little crowded. The blueberry donut was very fresh and flavorful. Unlike other blueberry donuts there were no blueberries in the donut. The Boston Cream also tasted very fresh, but did not have much cream in the center. I am not sure Goldie's would be our go to for donuts. They were good, but there are other donut shops we prefer.

These are the best donuts in Cleveland!! Absolutely love their light fluffiness. Yum!

Tried Goldie's on a recommendation. They are good donuts. The glazed croissant was really good, better than the donuts honestly. Lots of choices for flavors.

I tried both the Promised Land Latte (cinnamon and honey) and the seasonal special Cowboy Cold Brew (cold brew with milk and sarsaparilla syrup). The Promised Land Latte was good, not too sweet, a little thin on the mouthfeel but overall good flavor. The Cowboy Cold Brew was such a treat: a combination I have never tried, but it worked surprisingly well. It was like a root beer and a cold brew were mixed together for a refreshing drink with very familiar yet unique flavor. It was also such a treat when I turned the cup around and saw the "yeehaw" written on it :-) I also tried the everything bagel with honey brie walnut cream cheese, and whoever is supplying Cleveland with these specialty cream cheeses knows what they're doing! I enjoyed the honey brie walnut cream cheese so much that I made a third trip to this location, just to get a side of it to put it on extra pita I had laying around. What also makes this location special is the location! I enjoyed my latte inside the Arcade, and the beautiful architecture and interior design were so incredible. It was a wonderful break in the day. Great, efficient service, delicious drinks, good vibes all around!

I typically go to the Rising Star in the Colonial Arcade, proximity to work and all, but the weekends lead to Ohio City where the sunlight poors in, the baristas are busy taking orders, making spectacular concoctions and working the ever growing line. I'm partial to a chai, whole milk extra hot with cardamom to punch it up, it's perfect every time. I love that the green and go fridge is always stocked and that they have local bagels and Jeff's Candy! Parking is a premium so be ready to walk the neighborhood on a busy weekend.

There is also the main area (center part where you order) that has tables and chairs which is situated when you first walk in and then there is a back area towards the left that can be used as well. So, there are 2 back sections. DRINKS -- They sell matcha, tea, and coffee. I ordered a cup of Storehouse black tea with honey ($4 price, I think). I think the employee added too much honey in my tea because my stomach started hurting a little so I couldn't finish it but that's okay. I later got a mug of warm water which helped soothe my stomach. The cup of tea though is quite expensive but I like to support local businesses (Storehouse Tea is a Cleveland business). FOOD -- I also ordered a Rosemary bagel ($4) with a side of butter (.50 cents). The Rosemary bagel was delicious which isn't surprising because the owners make their own bagels. If you work remote then this coffee shop is for you as they have free wifi and plenty of tables to use. They have lots of chairs and tables laid out in three different sections. The music isn't as loud like most coffee shops in the area so I appreciated that. The back area towards the right only has 2 outlets available but thankfully, I got one to use. If you come with a laptop, make sure your battery is charged or find another seat where there is an outlet. TIP -- They sell packaged coffee to go, some packaged biscuit mix, and cute notebooks.

This one feels a little less cozy, maybe because it's on a busier street and has less seating, but the vibes are still great. Menus are exactly the same. Six Shooter is hands down my favorite coffee shop in Cleveland for both the coffee (grounds are delicious and reasonably priced) and the good vibes. Really awesome and welcoming neighborhood feel. Not my favorite ever but it was such a fun flavored latte to try!! - plus the guy who made my latte made it a point to show me the latte art before putting my to go lid on and that made my day! they were so kind!! Lots of sturdy, good size tables plus bar and lounge seating with abundant outlets. If you can get a spot, it's a great place to camp out and work for an hour. At 8:30 on a cold Wednesday in January it was the quietest I've ever seen it, with just a few people sitting and others dropping in to pick up to go orders. My husband and I ordered a black coffee, a cortado and a breakfast burrito to split. Points for serving the drinks in real cups for dine-in orders. The burrito is pricey - $16 - but is made to be split between two people. We tried to imagine finishing the whole thing on our own and couldn't, even as the ambitious eaters we are. It comes with a choice of chorizo, bacon or mushrooms and two side sauces, an aioli and a salsa verde. It was greasy and one of the messier things I've eaten in the morning but delicious. I will return to try the breakfast sandwich and the lox panini. I appreciate that they also have a limited bar - love a place you can transition from work day to working happy hour on a Friday afternoon. Another experience worth mentioning: I came in here solo on a busy afternoon once and ordered an iced chai. As I sat down, the woman who made it came out and said "I didn't make the chai concentrate (or whatever it's called) today and it does not look good to me. If you don't like that, I'll make you something else - let me know." Reader, it was not good and she made me something else. Respect the candor and proactivity.
