I just realized I never wrote a review for GoldiLoxx - I had my wedding hair and makeup done here in September 2024, and I also came here in July, for my hair and makeup trial, and in February to check them out beforehand. My hair and makeup person was Melissa, and she was great. In our initial meeting in February 2024, she went over what's included with me, and pricing. She was very welcoming and the salon is a very cute place, as well. In July 2024, I stopped by for my hair and makeup trial; overall I liked Melissa's work, but my face was a little more rouged than I would like, so I told her that and she made the adjustment on Sept. 15 on my wedding day. For my wedding day, myself, my three bridesmaids, and my MIL and SIL all got services done at GoldiLoxx - most of us got hair done, but two of my bridesmaids also got their makeup done. The only reason I'd give GoldiLoxx 4 stars instead of 5 is that my hair didn't hold up for a while - there are a few caveats to that though, being: 1. We took our wedding photos before the ceremony, so it had to last from about 9am or 10am until 4:30pm when the ceremony started and 2. It was a high of 85 degrees that day (unusual, in September! Ironically my husband and I had picked Sept. for its nice and temperate weather ...) so that probably also didn't help. My bridesmaids and a few of my husband's cousins had to help curl my hair again right before the ceremony, because of this. Overall, however, I'd highly recommend GoldiLoxx for any hair/makeup needs, especially for a wedding. Something else I forgot to mention: if you want to rent the place out, on a Saturday for a wedding, there's a $500 fee, but because my wedding was on a Sunday, when they are normally closed, they opened the salon up for me and there was NO charge, which was really nice of them. read more

Very nice salon with great quality products to choose from for both Men and Women. Mikayla does an amazing job on my haircut! I recommend her to all my guy friends who now also go to her regularly for their haircuts and products as well! I found this salon on FB and figured I'd give it a shot. It has been quite some time since I've had a haircut (quarantine + a year or so), and I had damage that needed to be cut off. I went to their website and was lucky to find they had a same day appointment. I booked online and headed in. The salon atmosphere was awesome, it had large mirrors, chandeliers, and great decor. It was a clean environment with great aesthetic. Tessa was my stylist and was very personable! My cut was great, and she explained her process the entire time to be sure I was getting exactly what I had hoped for. The products they used smelled great, my hair was shiny, and the haircut left nothing to be desired. I left smiling and excited to show off my fresh do. I will absolutely be returning to this salon and hope to make it my go to! read more

Tesse did my hair a few years back and I loved it. I came the end of March paid 200 for global highlights color and tone, she told me I should come again to fix some of the brassy part. I came back after 3 week paid 160 for global highlights and color. I told her I didn't need gloss and tone, so I guess she charged me for extra color which i never saw done. Her salon is relaxing and I always end up leaving with a great style and color and grab a cute sweater or earrings from her boutique. I called for pricing on a haircut. Here is how it went. My 75 yrs old would like a pixie cut. Her hair is not longer than her earlobes currently so maybe 2" at most. She said $35 for just a cut. Then I asked how much for a mans cut. She said $22. I asked why are they charging &13 more for a women's cut that is equivalent to cutting a gentleman's. They have no reason as absurd as it seems. Why as a culture do we feel that it is ethical to charge a women more than a man? Women make less for the same jobs as men do. When I asked why they feel it's ok to take advantage of women the manager stated "maybe you should take your business else where"! I gladly did and was happy to tip the lady for charging me a fair price. I made sure the tip was sufficiently more than I would have given to the price gauging stylists here! May God bless this business according to their hearts!! Updated: Never have I had an owner go out of their way to argue with a customer as I have witnessed both over phone or when acknowledging any disappointment. This is the overall energy. read more

The place is very feminine, glam, and chic. It has a trendy vibe. The ladies are friendly, fun and knowledgeable. They use the best products for blonds. To start, I am a perfectionist/picky with my hair and I secretly put a lot of pressure on stylists to transform my hair from ugly duckling to beautiful swan. I gave 3 stars because from my few experiences, I didn't leave feeling like I got exactly what I wanted, but I left feeling more like a swan, lol. But, so far no one (family, friends, co workers) has noticed I have got my hair cut or colored. That's a bummer. I did have sticker shock at checkout: for all over highlights+toner it was $150 (cut and tip not included). I went in only wanting highlights only around my face:/ (and I'm not a fan of how the ones around my face turned out (did I say I'm picky?) On the positive, I haven't noticed any foil marks/bleach spots yay! (which I despise). I don't want to deter people from going here, just make sure you are very, I emphasize very, specific in what you want and ask upfront how much certain services costs. This place uses the best products for blonds and I will go back, hopefully to yelp back a 4 or 5 star next time. read more

First off I'd like to say that I waited 3 days to write this because I was so angry I didn't want to come off overly rude but I still felt I should share this because I never want this to happen to anyone else. I was referred to GoldiLoxx by the owner, he owns another store but his daughter owns it and presented the salon as a beautiful place with the highest skilled employees, which made sense why the prices were the highest also. So I went in for a very simple touch up. I've been getting the same touch ups on my hair for close to 2 years. I've been going to the same girl at Aveda for years but with a falling out I needed to find a new salon. That being said the first visit I left and I didn't want to seem rude but I had my roots touched up and parts were missed, and I wanted more highlights added which I've slowly been doing for years. After I was done my hair looked the same... leaving the only difference was now my blonde pieces were orange and the cut was so bad! Worst cut I've ever had. I had long hair and the face face was to my mouth so it made absolute no sense. After people commented how orange/multicolored my hair now was I called and asked them to fix it being that I spend ALOT of money on this "high end" salon. When I went back, I showed a photo of what my hair looked like prior to going there and I just wanted the orange out. She decided to raise the highlights like I originally wanted so I was happy she suggested it. After about 30 minutes I notice she was adding bleach all over my hair, that includes the bleach hair I've had, which I knew was wrong. I commented saying the developer was too high and it was going to damage my hair but she said it was fine and I'm not gonna argue with professional. Right after adding the bleach, she checked the foil on top and when she pulled out so did a lot of my hair. It was falling out all frayed all over my lap. In chunks! It was was orange and white! She told me she had a trim more off, so she did that and then try to dry it but it was so clumped together that brushing it made more fallout... so I told her to stop and left. I went to another salon where ahead I have two oil treatments just to make my hair touchable. The new salon also noticed that she cut my hair 3 inches shorter on one side so I had to loose more hair. I called Goldiluxx and demanded my money back. Tessa ( the owner) answered and instead of apologizing she blamed me for using "box dye" twice and said it's not my fault I used bad products. To which I snapped back and reminded her how I've always gone to aveda and the dye on my head was hers! Then tried to blame me for multiple other reasons saying what I wanted wasn't possible, even though nobody ever struggled with my hair before being that this is probably the easiest request. Upon hanging up she did apologize and In a snooty way admitting that when I left she knew my hair was super uneven and it looked terrible. She also told me the person doing my hair was out of the hair game for a long time and wasn't retrained when she started a couple weeks ago. So thanks to her negligence of her staff and business I lost 6 inches of hair and the sad part is it still needs more off but image having hair past your chest and now it's to your shoulders. The lady who fixed my hair (at a different salon) told me they messed up my hair so bad that I can't even/ shouldn't put heat on it for awhile. Thanks GoldiLoxx, you costed my 6inchs of hair and a couple $100 to fix it. I'd also like to add I had very healthy hair. I use all high-end products, get it cut regularly, and have been trying to grow it. Thanks again. I hope your shut down. read more

I was a client of Tessa's. She did a great job but the reason I stopped seeing her was her attitude. I scheduled an appointment online for a hair cut. It said she was available. I arrive at the appointment early, she came of the desk and said "I won't be able to see you today. I have a new client, remind you that I have been a long standing client of hers. Then she preceded to say that a color is worth more than a cut and said I'm sorry. That is unacceptable bitch! You don't do that to loyal customers. I usually spend a lot of money is that hags salon! I'm sorry if I'm harsh but it's disrespectful to treat a customer like this. I don't care if I was just getting a hair cut. I had did a color with her two weeks before. Needless to say, I did find another salon with better prices and does far better job. You can be a great stylist and be a shitty person to customers. It doesn't matter how well you do. That alone will make you lose customers. Word of mouth goes along way and I spread what I know to everyone. read more
