I…read moreinitially had my headshots taken some years back at Ziba and kept that one throughout they years --that is how good it was. When I left my firm for another and had to take the pictures again but at a different studio, they came out so horrible that I refused to post my face on the firm's profile unless they agreed to use my Ziba photo, which they did. Due to circumstances, I am back with my old firm as of May and luckily they still work with Ziba and I just did my headshots again - absolutely perfect job. Highly recommend them.

I had my dreams set on a Disneyland photoshoot with my family, but some of my crew just hated taking photos. Andrew set up a call with me to ease my concerns and talk to me about my ideal shoot and what kind of photos I was hoping to get. I wish I hadn't spent all of that time stressing before the shoot, because he was right, it went AMAZING. We have such special photos now of our family at one of our favorite plates, and I couldn't be more grateful to Crystal Beacon. When we met up with Andrew and Kristin, I knew it was going to be a really great day (despite it being 90+ degrees at Disneyland! Yikes). They immediately started entertaining the kids and somehow also simultaneously snapping candid shots (which are my husband's favorite kinds of photos). They knew exactly where to go to get the best shots and how to get my kids to give natural smiles (and not run away from the camera like they used to do with other photographers haha). Honestly, we all totally forgot that we were doing a photoshoot and it just felt like we were hanging out with good friends. It was so much fun! And yes, we got all of the shots I had been hoping for.. I didn't think it was possible, but Andrew made it happen. Andrew edited the photos beautifully and got them to me way faster than I expected. And, what I really appreciated was that he sent me a sneak peek after the shoot which made me so happy, because there's nothing worse for a mom than spending all this time pulling together outfits, getting your family ready for a shoot, doing it, and then waiting weeks to see a photo!! The service wasn't terrible but not great. It's the lack of professionalism and accountability…read more I had a project I came well prepared for and was planning on recording a 12 track album with one of the sound engineers. We spent the recording session arranging my track in a traditional way without exploring my creative process. I hold myself accountable for not being more forthcoming and taking the reigns in the session. However, when I requested a refund, The sound engineer made up several lies to justify his disinterest by saying I was an hour late, came unprepared and had cancelled last minute prior to the first session. ALL LIES. He even tried to sell me to go to another studio (a studio he's trying to get into good graces with) and record my vocals there. He had mentioned the mics were just better at the other studio. So I had told him thank you for his time and decided to part ways and requested a refund directly through the owner. The owner called me and said: "give me a reason why I should believe you instead of a guy I have worked with for two years" the whole thing made me so upset. He then offered a partial refund and hour session. But after reading his email that accused me of being an hour late and to come better prepared; essentially eating the lies of his employee, I have decided to part ways. The owner was arrogant and unprofessional, and the sound engineer treated my artistry with indifference. I am disappointed.
