I'm not quite sure what the schedule is like for that but I happened to see them promoting this a couple days ago when I was last here for another movie. I love that they offer movies like this, the classics. It brought out a nice group of people who also enjoyed the movies. Besides classic movies, they also have kids movies for their summer series. Price was still great which is a major plus for movies these days. Also a nice way to cool down from the heat. Until another fun classic movie night.

Only 2 available when we got there and a third arrived later, although they set up very quickly. There was Cajun food, Indian food, and food from the cafe in the theater. I decided bot to partake as I was not impressed with this selection. However, I will give it another try in the future. Maybe the selection will be more varied. The movie was great and popcorn and soda was very reasonable prices.

I was able to purchase discount tickets on Groupon which we were able to use on this new release movie. You can reserve t Your seat online, but there is a $2 per ticket fee. I decided to just go to the theater to purchase the tickets to avoid paying the fees, but at the theater I was still charged $4.50 total for a Groupon fee. There is no one working the ticket booth in the front of the theater, so you have to go to the concession stand to purchase your ticket if you didn't do so already online. A large bucket of popcorn was $12.99. We chose to watch the movie in standard definition versus 3D or IMAX 3D (this theater offers it). The seats in this theater are pretty worn and are in desperate need of refurbishing. The seating is tight compared to the reclining seats at some newer theaters. Overall, this is a functioning theater and gets the job done.

The parking was easy and accessible. This was a grand gala that we went to and it seemed well put together and seamless.. It was a sold out event. The seating is great. There is no bad seat in that theater. All in all we give the Palm Springs cultural arts center a five star Yelp review rating and our personal recommendation.
