This is about the third time I left a review about their opening time never being consistent. I can't tell you how many times I have come on Saturdays and Sundays. I'm waited half an hour or more for them to open. thiThis week. You are wasting your time to go to this gym. It is expensive and not clean. Lockers don't work. Bathroom never has what you need. Manager is completely unhelpful and not understanding whatsoever. And, by signing this membership contract you are literally selling your soul because you will then have to pay extra charges and fees upon cancelling. And, if you don't pay it, manager will refuse to be helpful and fair. Instead, you will receive a debt collector's notice. Fun! read more

Had a great employee experience with Cody today. Cody was actually walking around the gym checking in on people unlike most people who just sit behind the desk and gave me great advice on my squat form. In my experience, even in the fitness community it is rare to find someone with true competency regarding squat form. I'm a new member here and I have to say I have not had any issues. Iv felt with a few of the staff members and they have been friendly and helpful! Not saying other reviews are false, we all have different experiences! Closing a few minutes early as people mentioned isn't a huge deal! Needs a little refresh, Not a bad gym but not the best. Best time to go is before the suns up or you'll feel like you're in PE class again with all the tweens that go there later in the day.. A good backup for when LA fitness is packed. read more

I'm not sure how many times this place fails to open on time. You're posted hours either were 4 am or 5 am and more than a dozen times you fail to open on time. People wake up early before they have to, before work relying on you...and you constantly fail to open on time. Poor business management. You have people sitting in lot waiting. read more

I've been coming to this gym on and off since it opened. Reason being is that the staff there is unprofessional. Closing the gym early so they're in their car at 10, lackadaisical work ethic, sitting in their phone while at the front desk barely acknowledging you when you walk in the door, unkept bathrooms, and not enforcing proper gym etiquette. Noticed a big shift in the gyms atmosphere once Eric was hired as a manager. The gym has been kept clean and tidy, and while he's there the employees actually do their job. The days he's not though, is back to the same old routine. He is easy to get ahold of which is also rare, it's been next to impossible to get ahold of managers during normal business hours but he's very professional and the gym has benefited greatly since he's been in the manager position. You'd be a fool to make him step down or lose him, the gym has been much better since he's been there. read more

How on earth does this place have more than one star ?? Heather, The Regional Manager, should be fired from her job. The lay out is terrible. They filled the place with terrible equipment presumably to cut corners rather than establish the place as a legit Gold's gym. Far too many times the locker room is totally shut down due to sewage issues and once the gym approaches the later hours and lacks the appropriate supervision it becomes a free for all with awful music. It's a shame this place had tons of Potential to be one of the more legit gyms on Long Island but it absolutely fell short. read more

It's kinda incredible that both bathrooms at this gym have been out of order for 5 days so far with no hope insight they'll be fixed. Just paid another 40$ for the month and I don't even want to go because I can't use the bathrooms while there. This isn't right, I signed up for a gym that has a great reputation because of the Gold's Gym brand but I have been nothing but disappointed. Unfortunately trying to get the manager to get back to you about a problem with their cable reception is impossible. Emails and FB messages go unanswered while the problem of tv audio cutting out and video freezing makes watching during your workout impossible. Just tells me they don't value their clientele who are paying $40 monthly. Management leaves a lot to be desired. read more

Great gym! Spotless and clean. Staff at the front desk always greet you with a smile! Has everything you could ask for in a gym, lots of diff equipment, classes, shake shop, massages, and sauna! Biggest problem: The bathrooms here are out of order WAY too often. It's never just one stall. If you're like me and drink a lot of water (since, you know, it's a GYM), this is annoying and 100% worth cancelling your membership over given how often it happens. Side issues: The clips that you put on the end of the barbell - there's almost never enough. Some people use them, some people don't. Regardless, these should be available for every barbell in the gym. Multiple pieces of equipment have been out of order for well over a month now. I'm beginning to wonder if management is even aware? Unless I cancel my membership, I'm keeping the one star review until this place shapes up. read more

The equipment is ok. Basic corporate gym. But the biggest problem with this gym is how gross the bathroom is. i don't think they ever mop the floors. All the young people working there are useless. read more
