Everyone usually puts their weights back exactly where they belong. The equipment is well maintained because I run into few broken machines. The locker rooms are often spotless, too, and they have self-programmable lockers near the turf area in case people forget their locks, which is good because I forget my lock sometimes. The showers consistently have hot water, and the sauna is a comfortable temperature. The front desk and office staff are consistently friendly and helpful. The only negative is that sometimes music laced with profanity plays, and I prefer artists who do not curse.

The front desk team was super friendly and welcoming, and that same vibe seems to carry throughout the entire gym. I joined almost three months ago and took advantage of a sign-up special that included three coaching sessions. I figured it would be a good way to get familiar with the gym and learn my way around. I was paired with Trainer Amanda, and honestly, that turned out to be one of the best decisions I've made. She's knowledgeable, motivating, and somehow makes training fun. I had no intention of continuing with personal training after those first three sessions, but here I am already into my second 12-session package. (shout-out to Amanda ) The training packages are also very reasonably priced compared to what I've paid elsewhere. One of the driving reasons I needed to join a gym was because I needed to do more cardio but I HATE cardio machines. From the beginning when I told Amanda this, we started doing sessions in the outdoor area where she created training blocks for me that keeps it fun, interesting and keeps my heart rate up.. The sled is the (new to me) piece of equipment that I love to hate the most lol I'm already noticing improvements in my strength and balance, and my clothes are fitting noticeably looser. At 52, that's pretty great because loosing weight and gaining muscle is just not as easy as it was, especially in the last 10 years. I've belonged to high-end gyms like Equinox in the past, FitLife is just so much better. This is the gym I was hoping for when I was paying super-premium prices for those other places. Unfortunately, my recent interaction with the fitness director, William (Will), completely changed that experience for me. In front of my friend who recently joined the gym and asked me how to properly use the equipment and in front other members, I was aggressively accused of training people at the gym. When I explained that I do not train clients there and that my social media does not advertise personal training services, I was repeatedly met with comments like "I'm not stupid" and claims that he "sees everything" on my Instagram. What made the situation even more uncomfortable was that manager Justin witnessed the entire interaction and stood back without stepping in or attempting to de-escalate the situation. Instead of feeling supported as a long-time member, I felt publicly embarrassed, singled out, and harassed. After over 5 years of loyalty to this gym, I never expected to be approached and spoken to in such an unprofessional and confrontational manner. A respectful private conversation would have been far more appropriate than being challenged publicly in front of others. I still appreciate many aspects of this gym, but this experience seriously changed my perception of the environment and management. I hope situations like this are handled with more professionalism, discretion, and respect moving forward.

It may have been larger, but they had so many machines that were in disrepair that you can't even count those. - Convenient hours. What's more convenient than 24/7, even on holidays? - Quality of equipment. On one hand, its very satisfying working out with a simple barbell or dumbbell, and this gym has plenty of those. I believe they have three different sets of dumbbells and more barbells than I've seen in larger, commercial gyms. On the other hand, this place also has unique equipment that I've not seen elsewhere if you're looking for a bigger variety of a workout. The only downside is the cost -- its definitely more expensive than commercial gyms, but I honestly believe you get what you paid for here. The convenience of hours, the quality of equipment, and the helpfulness and friendliness of the people make it well worth it.

Firstly the space is very big and super clean. Everyone in the gym respects each others space and the next people that will arrive. They are always wiping down the weights, bars, pads, ect. Basically anything that might be touched gets wiped down. The office is clean and organized. They have refreshments for sale. They always have hand sanitizer available. There's a bathroom to wash your hands and wipe off. They have the space sectioned for covid which is great. The work out area is huge and has everything you need for your work out. They have lots of parking and an easy online sign in app. The work outs are great and intense. They have a strength portion and hiit portion which I love. I love that you get a mix of both and they are not overly pushy about increasing weight. They always take time to demonstrate the moves. They constantly walk around to ensure form is followed correctly. They encourage you to give it your all but they don't put you down for going at a level your comfortable in. You don't just show up & get left on your own. There are sessions available each day (truthfully Monday - Saturday) & you do the Work Out of the Day (WOD) with everyone at the same time. The whole group feeds off each other & only Positive reinforcement is allowed. Each fellow 'Athlete" is honor-bound to help you push to your full potential. I have yet to meet someone that wasn't helping or encouraging another during the times of greatest difficulty during an exercise. The typical session starts with a warm-up, again completed by everyone. Some days there is a training session in between that & the WOD, other days we just get right to it. The trainers Doug & Tara have a lot of experience and will assist you in scaling the exercises to your ability level but they'll also push you when you're not giving it your all. They genuinely seem interested in helping you reach your goals and realizing what you're truly capable of accomplishing. Each has their own area of expertise and they compliment one another. I am already a bit intimidated and nervous by the 6 week program I was there to discuss so you can imagine how surprised I was to be completely ignored at the front desk by 3 what I assume are employees because I would hope an owner would never blatantly disrespect potential clients. The oldest of the three was enjoying the sound of his own voice and literally never skipped a beat even when other clients walked in the door and stood at the counter behind me. He never acknowledged our presence at all until a trainer from the back of the room called out to him to which his answer was, "Ok, yeah I got it, I got it!" Only he didn't. He kept on talking to the other two who never seem to notice we were there either. I walked out of there. I'm pretty sure there are tons of other places that would be more than happy to take my money. I guess CrossFit is uninterested in new clients if they leave this bunch out front to represent them.
