Super clean and organized. They even lift the machines to vacuum under them and dust the dumbbell racks. Nice people too.

I signed up for personal training sessions with Roy on Tuesday, 7/2/19. My first day of training…read morewas on Wednesday, 7/3/19. I purchased a silver package for 2 trainings sessions a week at the rate of $445.00 a month. As a commitment to myself, I signed up for AUTOPAY on my credit card with payment due on the first of the month. On Thursday, 8/8/19, I notified Roy that the monthly payment wasn't showing on my credit card. He said it must have been a glitch in his system, and he thanked me for my honesty. It was the right and respectful thing to do. Too bad he doesn't want to return that same level of respect to me. I signed the contract understanding I could "terminate the relationship at any time and for any reason with no obligation due to the client" (myself) "beyond a freeze or transfer of any unused sessions." From 7/2/19-10/28/19, I had 5 unused sessions: Monday, 9/30/19 (cancelled by Roy for his own personal reasons), Wednesday, 10/2/19, Wednesday, 10/9/19 (cancelled by Roy for his own personal reasons), Wednesday, 10/16/19, and Wednesday, 10/30/19. On Monday, 10/28/19, I advised Roy that I would be in Florida for 2 weeks in November and would only be able to attend possibly 3 classes for the month. I also advised that I would be back in Florida for 2 weeks in December and for personal reasons, I would not be coming at all in December. I requested the AUTOPAY to be suspended. He suggested (not demanded as he accused me of saying) that I continue my workouts in December and to get "a head start on the New Year." I explained to him, that wouldn't make sense to me as I already had 5 unused days, and I would never be able to use these extra days. I left my session on 10/28/19 very disappointed with his response. My next scheduled appointment was Monday 11/4/19. On Friday, 11/1/19, I texted him to say I would not be coming in for training for the month of November and December and to remove me from AUTOPAY. I was billed through AUTOPAY on 11/1/19 for $445.00. Roy stated that his credit card company requires 30 day notice to suspend AUTOPAY, which is NOT indicated in the contract. Bottom line, DON'T DO AUTOPAY. I'm out the $445.00 for the month of November and $278.00 for the 5 unused days. I understand the no refund policy of the $278.00 for the unused sessions, but to keep the $445.00 for November, I feel, is wrong. I will never return to Fitness 4 You or recommend this facility to anyone else.

The front desk staff was friendly and introduced me to a membership director. I wasn't looking for a long term membership as I live far away, but was willing to pay a guest fee. He mentioned a three day free pass they offer to try out the gym and it worked out great. Now, that's customer service. Over the three days I found the gym to be clean, well maintained, tons of equipment and weights to use, and a varied crowd size depending on the time I was there. Never seemed overcrowded to me and the members were considerate. This is the type of gym you join to really train and not just goof around. Plus, they offer merchandise and training accessories, protein and energy drinks, etc. Plenty of classes to join for cardio needs. Decent hours daily and on weekends. From beginners to seasoned bodybuilders this is a great facility to get in your fitness goals.

You gotta try it. Cardio Kickboxing and weight training. It is a commitment. The motivating factor…read morewas money. It's hard to depart with $300.00 when you don't know if you will like it or not. So like a geek I was. I did the math. $300 for 10 weeks. 50 classes. 5 Days a week is 6.00 a day for 55 minutes. Which is very reasonable considering pilates classes or zumba classes are like 10-15 a class. After 10 weeks, I saw and felt results. Arms and legs wer more toned. Pants and shirts are too big for me. Starting around week 7, my pants were looser on me. It's a very non intimidating environment. There will always be newcomers and "repeaters" in class. The all female instructors are great motivators and will always show low and high impact moves. Members' fitness ability vary but there is no judgment here. We're all here for our own reasons. I was very comfortable in every session. Orientation: The Sunday before the first class, you will be weighed, measured, get your picture taken and do sit-ups and push-ups. Packets will be handed out about the program and some diet information that will aid in reaching your goals. I personally followed it 80% of the diet they suggested. Come on, I have yelp reviews to write about great places to eat. No one wants to hear about carrots and hummus. At this point, you will need to buy punching gloves. I suggest the ones they have on hand. $40.00. It has a lot of protection when you hit the bag. I looked online and sporting good stores but I liked the one they were offering. Reasonable prices. Week 1 First 10 minutes, I asked myself "Ah crap! what did I get myself into? Sucking air!!!! Face tingled. Week 2 Got sick from a cold. Ab work SUCKS!!!! Pulsing sucks. Toughed it out. Week 3 WTF?? Spiderman push-up?? I can't do that. Push-ups for me. 100 squats?? Crap!!! Still sick. Week 4 Situps are cool. But situp and punch, punch sucks. Push up sucks. Jumping roping is always fun. But another great week. Week 5 Sprained ankle. Missed the entire week. Going through withdrawal. For REAL!! This is the week they do a midpoint assessment. You will get weighed and measurements will be taken to see how you are progressing. The 5 weeks passed, you will see a difference. Week 6 and week 7 was a blur. It went by so fast. Intense stuff Week 8 The good stuff and killer workouts starts here. More cardio. Punch harder. Holding longer. Week 9 CARDIO is more intense with every session. Weights are asked to be a slight heavier than what we started at week 1 & 2. Arms are still burning from upper body workout. Cursing out instructors at this point. Week 10 If I am losing weight, it has to be from sweating too. There's a very very short recovery time. Heart rate is always higher than normal. I cringed when Karen called for 100 Crunches. I sigh when I heard 50 crunches and then another 50 at the end of the session. I come out feeling great and gross from sweating. Final evaluation is on the Sunday after the 10 weeks are over. The winner will win another 10 week session, which is awesome. I will miss the intense workout and the instructors. But if the timing was right, I will do it again in a heart beat.

Equipment isn't updated or replaced when broken and class times were often cut entirely. For the hefty price tag, class times were always being cut without other times to replace them(including the evening class which was the only time I was able to make). The reason they don't charge what other high quality professional clubs charge is because nobody would go there. You get what you pay for here and even with the cheap price that's exactly what you get a cheap imitation of a soccer club. Their teams play dirty and it's no shock considering who the owner and coaches are. Their great claim to fame is the owner and the foul mouth unprofessional coach played for Costa Rica! Please remind me when was the last time Costa Rica was at the World Cup or anything remotely close. Yet they treat parents and children with complete disregard and disrespect. Take my advice even if they offer you free training ( which apparently they are doing now, showing how hard up they are for business) it's still not doing your kid any favors. Please do your homework call US Soccer and ask how many times their coaches have been suspended or red carded from games or tournament. If this kind of environment appeals to you then great you'll fit right in considering the parents from this club represent the same values the club does. The players are encouraged to be disrespectful to other players and to argue with referees and those are the team captains. While the parents on the sideline yell at the ref about bad calls (even when they don't know the first thing about soccer rules), sideline coach and make distasteful comments about the opposing team forget they are children and in this day and age where everything is recorded. I am shocked they are still able to operate and to do business in this fashion. You've been warned & you're welcome.
