I think big box gyms have their place everyone has different reasons for why they entertain fitness in their life and I think that each one of them offer something for a specific client. For me whether I'm in off-season or training to compete I want a rugged gym and I want the equipment to be well-maintained I want to hear loud music over the speakers and I want to smell sweat and bodies at work! I don't want to see a bunch of rules posted on the walls about what I can't do weights I can't drop bills that are going to ring if I bring my gym bag on my gallon water jug to the floor and most of all I don't want to get hit with a 36 month contract in a bunch a high-pressure sales people telling me about how great their gym is if it doesn't sell itself when I walk in the door then it's not the right gym. All of that to say absolutely fell in love with this local gym the minute I walked in the door and I will tell you that it's not for everyone it has a certain style a certain laid-back vibe no pressure sales for gym memberships it's $30 a month. The equipment is immaculate and there is some thing to train every part of your body I love the different quadrants at the gym where you can fully focus on machines free weights tire work chain work and sprinters. I finally found a gym home and no matter where you are in your fitness journey from bodybuilding down to getting in the best shape starting exactly where you are I would highly recommend this gym. Unfortunately, when I arrived, there was a sign on the door stating they don't have any day passes. You can JOIN the gym, but to do so they need payment for your first and last month upfront, as well as your bank information for future payments. If I lived anywhere near here, I would have no problem doing that. But I am in the middle of a cross country trip with my dog, and will only be here till the end of my workout. To make matters worse, I hired someone to watch my dog while I worked out, so I wouldn't get in trouble for leaving her in my car. Now I have to find somewhere else to workout before they call to let me know it's time to pick up my dog. A simple statement on their website would have helped save me a ton of heartache before making my way to this gym, only to be turned away....

They allow younger kids, so he brought him as a guest a total of three times soread out over a period of 3 or 4 months. Suddenly my eldest gets a call from the owner talking to him like a dog throwing out wild accusations, like he bets he's been bringing him there for months and he could be sued (meanwhile allows youth but just being an ***). Also accused him of bringing others with him but he just held the door open for ppl that were directly behind him. He told my son if he wanted to keep his membership he had to pay for 3 months for my youngest. my eldest refused so they cancelled his membership. I've also heard he will sit and watch the place like a hawk and yell at ppl who drop equipment. Just save yourself the headache and go elsewhere.

From the very first time that I walked into this box, I have been overwhelmingly welcomed by the coaches and other crossfitters alike. The coaches are amazing! They are knowledgable and very patient. They make sure to modify the workouts to fit my abilities and avoid injury. They explain the proper way of doing things and keep their eyes on me to ensure that I don't fall back into my sloppy ways. Everyone else is so incredibly encouraging. They remember your name and make you feel like you not only welcomed here, but that you belong here. The workouts are intense, but it's CrossFit so that's to be expected. The WOD's vary and get the job done. Even when you think you couldn't be more sore, they find a way to work in a muscle that you didn't even know you had...in the best possible way! They offer several classes throughout the day so you can fit your workout into your busy day. If you are looking for a place to work out with people that won't make you feel judged and that will get you results, this is your spot.

All of that BS on top of the horrible parking situation where you'll pay $50 a month to get parking tickets, disgusting locker rooms, constant early closures and broken equipment. The only nice thing about this gym is the friends I've made.
