The owner needs to learn from his employee. When I entered the store, the owner, Bob, was in a conversation with an employee. He was behind the counter and his back was to the entrance door. When I opened the door and entered he stopped his conversation, turned to see who it was. Since I was not someone rich or famous or in his circle of friends he made eye contact with me, then turned back around without saying a word to me. He could've said, "hello." He could've said, "Welcome to Disinger's." He could've said, "Someone will be with you in a moment." But no, he did not say a word to me at all. Because I wasn't good enough to merit even a greeting, he turned back to what he was doing. The employee, Teresa, on the other hand was very friendly and helpful. I have lived in Jasper and Dubois county for about 30 years. I am a business owner. However, unfortunately many fellow business owners don't know how to treat customers. Bob is one of them.
