This company is amazing! My business needed an electric strike installed on the door and so many places that I called were not able to do the whole job. Most companies had suggested that I hire an electrician to make sure the power supply was in working order so the lock company can just install the strike. Well, Goldy Locks, Inc. did everything I needed them to do - without an electrician. Our guy who installed the strike was SCOTT! He was wonderful and kept us entertained. He sang country music while working and then had good conversation when the job was complete. We recently called Gold Locks, Inc. to come back out because our door wasn't latching for some reason. Goldy Locks came out first thing the next day and fixed our door without a charge. Also, the guy who came out (this time is wasn't Scott) was very kind and also kept us entertained. Needless to say, we will be continuing to use Goldy Locks, Inc. We actually need them to come out again for an additional service....lol read more

Thanks Alarm 1 which is a division of Goldy Locks for installing my digital security system so quickly/next business day! Their system is far more advanced than the ADT system I had previously....and even comes with a key remote to turn on and off your system. All 3 doors were covered and also have all my downstairs windows covered for glass breaks! Shawn the installer was very professional, figured out how to install where I wanted even though there was no outlet there by wiring into the garage, showed up on time and walked me through the new system. I'm very impressed and after comparing other alarm companies, very happy paying under $40 a month for all the services I'm getting and piece of mind. Many companies talk about service after the sale but Goldy Locks comes through. I purchased 5 Medeco locks for my home from them this spring. The order was delivered by one of their techs and he patiently explained each item and the keying procedure. I did the installation myself but while changing the tailpiece on one of the locks I accidentally dumped the contents of the cylinder on my kitchen table. I had about 25 pins, springs and bars all separated and no easy way to reassemble them. I took the pile of parts to the Goldy Locks in Tinley Park expecting to pay for my dumb move. Dolores Miranda, one of their techs, found a spare cylinder from my order, swapped for the bag of parts, and I was on my way in about 5 minutes. No grumbling and no charge. These guys are first class! Easily five stars. read more

I will never do business w/GOLDYLOCKS AGAIN. I dealt w/them last year & it was an overall BAD experience starting w/the locksmith driver they sent out jim or joe or whatever his name was he could NOT FOLLOW SIMPLE DIRECTIONS of calling me 1st when he was on his way. He just showed up w/his drill in hand & took old lock off before he was told to do anything. Then the SLICKSTER tried to put on a CHEAP QUICKSET set of locks. Something I could've bought @ a store & installed myself. Fortunately I cought him & stopped him in his tracks. Then he came back from his truck w/a 2 inch protruding SLAGE LOCK another product I could e bought in a store. He claimed that's all he had on the truck. Since he had already taken my old lock off & drilled a hole in my front door I had to go w/what he had. He kept telling annoying stories instead of just keeping his mouth shut & doing his job, even after I tried to hunt to him that I was NOT INTERESTED IN HEARING ANY OF HIS ANNOYING STORIES. HE COULDNT TAKE A HINT. HE CHARGED ME ABOUT $330 for the top & bottom locks that I told him I didnt want. I immediately called company & spoke w/manager who said she'd call me back she never did call back. I spoke to 2 others claiming to be managers on 2 other occasions trying to get these locks replaced w/something of a better locksmith quality, who both said they'd call me back. Neither of the 3 so called managers bothered to call me back. I dealt w/other locksmiths & got better product for less money & better customer service. read more

I visited the Tinley Park Goldy Locks last week and was extremely impressed by the service and attention i received. I hauled in a heavy portable safe that I could not open. it was 30 minutes before closing , and four employees stayed until they were able to open the safe, without key or combination. All the employees were courteous and were determined to complete this job until the end. I also observed them waiting on other customers who came in while I was there, and they took their time, and sounded extremely knowledgeable. Oh the best part, the charge for cracking my safe was so nominal, I actually asked them if i could pay them more and they said no! I might add this is not the first time I have visited this business for keys or locks. read more

Needed 3 exterior doors replaced. Made the mistake of trying to go with a less reputable company, who ended up backing out of the project after 6 months of holding my deposit. Goldy Locks showed up 24 hours after I first contacted them to give a quote, and brand new, ultra secure, incredibly professional steel security doors were installed 3 weeks later. I had Goldy Locks install new locks on my house last year when I moved about $900 worth of service. My jaw dropped when I received the bill. Today I went to get in my front door and the key was not working on my lock, tried several other keys and it appears to be the lock itself. I went on-line to search for Goldy locks and found what I thought was their website that said their work was guaranteed for life, yahoo I thought... Not so, this was for Goldy Locks in Florida. I found the the correct one in Tinley that we used and guess what their work is only guaranteed for 90 days - really??? Honestly $900 worth of service and 90 days. I am so angry right now I will tell everyone I know stay away from this terrible overpriced place. What terrible customer service. read more

Goldy Locks customer service is horrible. I had to prepay to have keys made since our condo association rekeyed all of our locks. I called to see if the keys were ready and they told me that I had to come there and wait for them to make the keys. I told them that I prepaid so that they would be ready, and they still refused. I will NEVER use this company. Bad, bad, bad customer service. read more

We just bought a resale home and had Goldylocks come out to rekey our front door and fix our busted door frame. The service guy, Logan, was very professional and did a great job. The only thing I didn't like about Goldylocks is that they can't give you an exact time that they'll be there, but they were not late the 2 times they did come out, so a timeframe is understandable in this business. I'm currently considering a security system with them as well. I will use them again for my home's security needs. read more

So I had them to bring a safe to my home well the guys that brought the safe put a hole in my wall and scratches one of the other walls in my home I reach out to let them know they came and took pictures of the wall and I called them back many of times nobody has contacted me as of yet ...
