Great cart at a good price. We rented a cart for two months. The cart worked great and Beth was always easy to deal with.

My daughter was searching for cars with Carfax. She found the car of her dreams at Gettel Hyundai…read more She contacted the dealer and started what she thought was the buying process, including completing a credit app. When she called the next morning to get a status update she was informed the car was sold to someone else. The salesman said it was out of his control, a manager had let the car go because they do not hold cars. So, the car is gone, and no one really cares about my daughter's deal. This dealer is all about the money. For example, in every used car contract they include an Average Investment Reconditioning cost of $1,495 and a Pre-Delivery Service Charge of $1,099. So, there is $1,500 to wash and vacuum the car, and the salesman told me the $1,099 goes in Mr. Gettel's pocket to "help pay expenses." If you would prefer not to deal with a dealer that typifies the "used car dealer," then find someone else to buy a car from. UPDATE: Within two hours my daughter found the same model car with similar mileage and price at Courtesy Chrysler Jeep in Tampa. She asked them if they would sell the car out from under her while she was completing the finance application. They responded, "no that would not be fair, we would never do that." She completed the app, was approved in less than a minute, and the deal was sealed. And, there was no Average Investment Reconditioning or Pre-Delivery Service Charge! How Gettel Hyundai gets good reviews is beyond me.

I also have health issues so I didn't have time to fix the truck this time around but I usually do all the services. Anyway, I took my truck in to SERVICE for a recall, and 2 days before the appt (on a Saturday) it began acting up. They said they would look at it during the recall and called to tell me it was a fuel pressure sensor and a fuel rail because the sensor is inside the rail (it isn't). They quoted me 10hrs book time and on 3 different phone calls insinuated that if it could be done in less time, the price would be cheaper than the $3000 quoted. I had no choice, as I needed my truck for Monday and I couldn't get the parts shipped until then. Come to find out, he lied about shaving time off the bill. They finished the recall AND the repair in 3 hours and charged me the full amount. On the receipt, the parts were insanely marked up as well. RockAuto has OEM for $100. ACDelco had it for $230. THEIR OWN PARTS DEPT had none in stock but charged $380 for it, and the receipt had it marked up to $560 so the writer could get his max commission. The fuel sensor was $150 for a $30 part. The kicker is, I had to take it back 2 weeks later because the fuel rail was "bad again". I told him it was the fact that his "Master Mechanic" had used barrel connectors on very sensitive wiring and not even bothered wrapping tape around them. He should have used a waterproof connector and/or spliced the wiring in for the fuel pressure sensor. Not the cheapest, laziest method he could think of. So when I brought it back I told the service writer and when he returned the vehicle, he said the Master Mechanic had wrapped some cloth tape around the wires. Great, that should hold in even more collected moisture once the rain and humidity kick back up. Then I had a guy cause an accident so I used their BODY SHOP. They estimated it, said it may need a new bumper but at least a tow hook, buff some paint, and a couple brackets. They were also supposed to look at the TPMS since it was reading 20psi with 60psi in the tire after the crash. No biggy, the other guy was at fault and charged with Reckless Driving. His insurance was paying 100%. When I dropped it off, they did another estimate and said it didn't need a bunch of stuff from the first estimate, "but we will check". He said the TPMS would be hard to get on the claim, and there was no way it could be related. Also he said the lines that the first estimator said would require a new bumper weren't 'bad enough' to bother with a new bumper. But they replaced the wheel well trim piece and a fog light that were perfectly fine. If the impact 'didn't reach' the tire for the TPMS, and the bumper wasn't bend enough to worry about the lines, how did it affect the wheel well trim that was fine when I dropped it off? BUT when I got the truck back, I made it 10 minutes down the road before the front tire was shaking so bad I had to turn around. It felt like they had left a tie rod off or all the lug nuts. They took it for a test drive with me as passenger, and he tried to cover his arm up when the steering wheel starting shaking out of his hand. He admitted it wasn't like that when I dropped it off (This was 2 months after the crash waiting for the at-fault guys insurance to reply, and I drive 1000 miles a week. I would have noticed if it was bad) but that all he could do is send it to the SERVICE department so *I* could pay $300 for an alignment because he had already closed out the insurance claim. When I asked about the TPMS he said they didn't even look at it. Come to find out afterwards, the crash caused enough of a shock that it was reading the right rear tire as the front right tire and vice versa. It took me 10 minutes to figure out when I got home and checked all 4 tire pressures. They were also nice enough to leave ALL the garbage and parts they swapped, in the bed of my truck. His advice to me was "Probably better find a mechanic and have them take a look at it". No problem. I absolutely will. It will not be your shop(s). You have really taken more to screwing your customers for a quick buck but my time and service will not be spent there anymore. The only redeeming quality was that the two ladies in the body shop waiting area were lovely to deal with.

A couple of years ago we purchased a used 2022 Camry from Gettel Toyota, Bradenton, FL, near Bay Shore Gardens. This was our first experience with Gettel. The initial purchase and offerings as explained at that time appeared to be inconsistent with our understanding of services actually offered by Gettel. Specifically, this involved a maintenance and touch up body work policy we purchased at the time of sale. The policy ends at 100,000 miles, or seven years. We have 40,000 mile on the vehicle. We recently sought a meeting for clarification with the General Manager, Rocky Santa Cruz. Mr. Santa Cruz eventually introduced us to EriK Grenesko, the Collision Center Manager. Both Mr. Santa Cruz and Mr. Grenesko were patient listeners, they politely offered clarification where it was needed and they offered sound solutions regarding the Gettel maintenance policy and the incidental touch up for body work. They took the car on a Monday and returned it five days later. We received a vehicle that was immaculately detailed from the pin stripes to the incidental marks that were completely removed. The work was show room quality. The interior was cleaned as well and was certainly outside the scope of the agreement. My wife and I have many years of managerial service in the Services industry. From our experience we want to extend our appreciation for Rocky and Erik's time and their outstanding ability to represent the customers interests and the interests of Gettel in terms of customer satisfaction. You both are a credit to the Gettel organization and the Toyota brand.

I was literally told they were too busy for this and that I couldn't get it because they changed computer systems and had no records previous to the change. I hung up and called Gettel Toyota. The girl on the phone treated me like a person, not a number and gave me the information I needed to get to the people who could help me. I drove over there and spoke with David in the service department who was absolutely amazing! He was knowledgeable, personable, and helped me obtain as much of the record as he had access to, and told me where to go to get the rest. I would work with him any day of the week! Then I went to see Hector (who turned out to be the sales manager). I explained the situation to him and he immediately printed out all of the information that I needed. He was friendly and very knowledgeable. Turns out he's been here 19 years! I made sure to tell the manager of this facility that he was blessed to have such people working for him. Every single person that I came in contact with who works here, treated me like a human being with needs, rather than a money-making opportunity (which is what I felt I was to the other company). I highly recommend this business! When you walk in the door, the whole atmosphere is different. It's calm, peaceful, and inviting. I will be bringing my business here from now on. Thank you all for making what was an extremely stressful day become a peaceful one!
