I fully expected a large service charge. this is the third time they have worked on my car and they have always been thorough and work has been excellent. I was amazed when they told me everything was fine for the trip and charged me only for an oil change. I am a first time customer. I topped off my vehicles tire pressure one day and the next day the right front tire was flat. Refilled and then flat again. After reading the reviews I called Shepherds and they said to come right in. They found a razor blade stuck in the tread but the cause of the leak was a damaged needle in the tire stem. They replaced the needle and did not charge me for their work. I just wanted to thank them publicly for their curteous and friendly service. Kevin at Shepherds is THE MAN! He's patient, hard working and the whole krewe of guys are the same. If you buy tires there, FREE ROTATION for life. And unlike other tire stores, they actually ROTATE the tires. How do I know? I tried this trick on some other tire shops in town. When brining in the tires for rotation, I wrote "DF" (driver front), "DR" (driver rear) and PF/PR in blue ink on every tire. I was told by multiple shops "We rotated your tires." I went outside, checked and came back in: "No you didn't and I can prove it." I stopped going to 2 other tire shops for this reason. read more

This is the best place to buy tires. I wish all places offered free tire rotations when you purchase tires. As long as you own your same vehicle, as when you purchased them, have the same tires, you have free roatation. They checked everything for me, and I was on my my way in less than 40 minutes. I called AAA and they were quick about coming here and putting my spare tire on just to get me to a shop to replace that tire along with all the others that were very worn. Shepherd's has always been my go to for tires. I went for my oil change and tire rotation. They pointed out that my front end needed to have an alignment. They also did an inspection on brake pads and other things. I was so happy with the results and they were very reasonable price wise. I will be taking my car there going forward. Disappointing service. Had a list of work I needed done on my vehicle. One of the tasks they agreed to complete was "check airbag" light on my vehicle. Only after I picked up my van and turned it on did I discover they didn't complete it. I went inside and asked and all I was told was they couldn't do it. No offer to reschedule or make it right whatsoever. I wrote a review reflecting my service on Yelp. I think that yelp may be editing this Firms reviews. I posted a serious complaint in February 2019 and now it is gone. In Jan 2019 I had This firm tell me that the clunk in my Cadillac was due to bad motor mounts and it would take $750 to fix this matter. After three days of trips to get this done, the problem did not go away like my $750 did. I complained to the sales person and he tried to convince me that the mounts were hydraulic. I just happened to be a trained diesel mechanic by the USCG and spent 6 years in engine rooms . I KNOW WHAT HYDRAULIC IS AND WHEN I AM BEING FED A BS STORY. They changed the Motor mounts and I asked to get the old parts that appear to be almost new. I posted a serious complaint abut my personal experience with this Firm on Yelp after Shepherd's refused to remedy the problem. I am a 78 year old Senior and this is not good business for Shepherds or Yelp. FYI This post will be copied and posted on Facebook and other social media if Yelp removes my complaint again. They were great. 4 new tires needed for old Jaguar. They ordered them, I came in the next morning and they put them on in under an hour. The car has never driven better. They also alerted me to a leak in coolant system and its location....Looked up part and priced the job, while I was waiting. We decided to have our regular mechanic take a look. My elderly mother went here with a flat tire, and they told her that it could not be plugged and had to be replaced. They quoted her $75 for a new tire (in store). When she arrived, they put the new tire on and handed her a bill for $125. When questioned, they replied that they replaced her tire with a matching tire and that would never have been $75. They went so far as to say they never quoted her that price, and in order to get that price she had to buy a mismatching tire of lower quality. read more

Do not bring your vehicle here they will lie on what needs to be replaced and try to up charge the price on the parts. Took my truck here to get new tires and alignment. They put new tires on and said they couldn't do alignment with out replacing inner, outer tie rods and sleeves for $900 + dollars they wanted. Took it to Disel tech round the corner said there's no play and nothing wrong with them and Erik from disel tech recommended Sparks Computerized Car Care. They did the alignment with no problem checked everything wasn't nothing wrong. Only costed $140 4 wheel alignment. Will no longer bring any company vehicles to shepherds tire very dishonest. read more

My wife's Mazda Miata needed 60,000 mile service and tires. She went to the local dealership and got quoted $1200. I brought her to Shepherds and they did more service than in the dealers quote including tires for just over $600. They are our go to guys now. read more
