Brought a club in for repair. Employee told me all my clubs would start breaking soon and steered me towards some new (used) clubs. Paid $600 for almost new set of high end irons. Tried to bring them back 10 days later and was told I missed the 7 day cut off by 3 days. (Wasn't aware that I only had 7 days). Was told that the clubs now are worth only $250 trade in value towards store credit. Seriously! Only worth $250 when they bragged about how good the clubs were the week prior. Shame on me for not seeing the tiny return policy sign but they were dismissive of me and did nothing to work with me. It felt like a used car experience. Not what I expected from a well known national chain. Will never step foot in their store again and will tell this story to all of my golf buddies and members at my club. read more

I finally decided to buy my first Scotty Cameron. I started at another big-name store and was not taken seriously whatsoever. Buying a Scotty is an investment and the lack of help I received was more than disappointing. I went to Golf Galaxy, met Justin, told him what was happening, and he immediately began helping me. Within 20 minutes my whole experience changed. Justin was more than helpful. If it wasn't for him, I would've gotten the wrong putter. Not a single complaint. If you're looking to get any sort of club, I highly recommend going to see Justin at this store. read more

Walked in yesterday to look at a new set of woods. As I came through the area were the clubs are a cluster of 5 team members were gathered talking { shooting the bull } As I when up & down looking at some their most expensive equipment not 1 of them 5 broke away to ask if needed help. After about 15 mins I walk out the door, drove to Edwin & spent $1400 because they greeted me & walked me through all my question. This store has TONS of help standing around, but don't expect them to be in a hurry to help you spend money. The much smaller store was way more willing to earn my business. read more

I visit this store every so often to look around and sometimes buy small items that I might "need" but on this visit I finally decided to buy a big purchase and upgrade my ooold golf clubs. As soon as I walked into the store , I had a few employees welcome us in and then a very nice gentlemen by the name of Patrick came over to assist us. He was very knowledgeable and he went above and beyond after he listened to my specifications and my budget . He didn't try to make me buy what I didn't need. He was patient and that's why I spent some money. I did have to buy some of the pieces online that night and to my amazement , I started getting certain pieces as early as 48hrs after. For a second I thought I was using amazon prime but I wasn't. The packaging was very good for delicate and expensive items and once again I was impressed. I'm still waiting for the final pieces but all in all , I'm glad I went back to this store to buy and will continue to frequent it in the future. For anyone who is not familiar , golf galaxy is owned by Dicks and so they have a huge assortment and also the prices (at least for the golfing items ) are very competitive . In the past few years I've bought several Iron sets, drivers, fairway woods, wedges, accessories, clothes, putters, etc... at this location. I've literally wasted thousands and thousands of $ here. I went in today to buy another driver. I don't need it but it's fun to get something new. I'm crazy and would have paid $600 for the new driver. The arrangement here must be that they don't take you to a bay with a projector to try clubs to buy. I guess they want to charge you for that. Instead, they have you hit into a net, which is useless. I told the guy that there's a zero chance I'd buy anything if he stuck me in a bay hitting into the net, especially in an empty store with open bays that have projectors. He just looked at me like "OK leave then", so I did. This location will go extinct. The PGA Tour Superstore has only bays with video, so that's where I will buy. It's a shame. Golf Galaxy is closer to me than the superstore so I will miss it. But the superstore much is better, so no big deal. read more

Stopped in just because I have heard so much about this establishment from friends. I was looking for a gift for a friend & I am by no means any kind of golfer. The staff were Profesional and friendly. They really tried to help me find the perfect gift in my budget. I appreciated them not trying to over sell me & blow my budget. It appears to be a nice clean store, with a lot of golf parifenallia and staples. It ended up being a painless process. I appreciated the input, as I am no golfer. Well color me impressed. I'm steadily let down by the service at golf stores when it comes to demos and fittings. Worked with Bobby for almost 2 hours tonight on a driver fitting and never once did I feel rushed or awkward. He made suggestions and was totally open to trying anything I asked for. By the end I was totally satisfied and must admit I had a lot of fun with Bobby during the process. Great experience today. read more

I received horrible customer service from the manager Paul at this store. I bought a new putter from the clearwater location and exchanged it for a used putter at the lutz store. When I went to return the used putter I got, the store manager Paul advised the receipt shows the putter I brought in was used, which is wrong, and then he tells me the putter I got from the lutz store was new, which is wrong. They really don't have their act together! read more

Had a terrible experience with the manager Paul. He is a terrible manager he made me feel like he was car sales man. In the past the people their have made me feel welcomed and like I was getting a good deal and would help with my budget. The manager Paul makes you feel like your getting a bad deal and not welcomed and I wish he was fired. There is a man that works their named Drew that is the opposite and I wish he could take his spot he is nice and is good with people. Worst Golf Galaxy on the planet. I'm a huge fan of GG and generally buy most of my gear on their website or stores. Took a friend of mine in to try some irons and figure out what clubs might work best for her. She's new to the game, so not really looking for a fitting, just a little help hitting some different options. We got to the fitting area to find the staffer hitting balls. He was able to break away long enough to find 3 irons (all from the same set) for her to try. Couldn't get the tracker to work right, so he just shrugged and walked away. Walked away! He did come back a few minutes later to hit some more balls in the next bay. Fortunately, I know my way around and became the fitting expert for my friend. Didn't buy anything from this store (and never will), but was able learn enough to go online and make a purchase. The good news is that there weren't any other customers in the store, so if you do go there you won't have to wait in line to buy. Too many other good options nearby to be treated like dirt. read more

They need to put this out of business. The lady manager is very rude and needs a new job. Went in to look at new Titleist irons and got great help from Bill. When I checked out with new shoes and used 4 wood. I asked for a head cover the clerk said any in that basket. I picked out an old R9 driver headcover and the manager came right over and rudely said no u must pay ten bucks for that one. Hey lady it's a old R9 headcover my R9 driver is not worth ten bucks. I asked the clerk where is the other Golf store. The lady manager is rude and with bad treatment of customers the store will follow the fate of Golfsmith case closed. read more
