Whenever I'm driving past this place on the 101 in Ventura (you can see it from the freeway), I wish I could go here instead of where I'm actually heading to. Gold N' Stuff offers a nice outdoor activity... miniature golf! They require you wear a mask of course (luckily not much heavy breathing necessary with mini-golf) and social distance. The golf is fun, fam had a blast. Kids love the different holes and exploring the new areas of the green where the ball comes out. Classic ramps and obstacles, good place to spend some time outside the usual settings of home. N' Stuff = arcade & laser tag are closed (thanks covid) but they had the go-kart track and water bumper boats ride were operating on Saturday. read more

Haven't been here since I was a kid and its just the same as I remember it. There's two courses of 18 holes and its $16 per player if you're an adult. The cashier hands you your golf balls and clubs at the counter outside. It seems as though it's been nicely maintained and the painting is being kept up. Heads up if you're looking to do the bumper boats they're out of order right now. Fun little afternoon activity in town. read more

Bring on the nostalgic with the rock and roll music, arcade games and mini gulf. Brought the hand sanitizer just as an extra layer of cleansing. Looks like they did some refurbishing on the gulf course, Looks good. I still miss the sound of the water falls and man made water trails, but were in a drought and gotta preserve when you can. A solid 3 star establishment! Adults with enjoy the nostalgia factor (as it seems pretty untouched since our own childhoods) and kids won't even notice the mini golf sculptures missing limbs or chipping paint--it'll just be a fun filled moderately expensive day of fun! Seriously though, you can tell from driving by it's not Disneyland. You know what you're getting into. Get a pass that allows you multiple activities and bring your own food and you'll have a decently fun time. I went with a group of adults and we enjoyed a solid round of mini golf, multiple go kart rides, and getting somewhat splashed on the bumper boats. The snack bar has limited items and while they're inexpensive they just aren't worth the wait. My heart goes out to the over-worked teenage cashier who was doing the work of three people at once. If you simply must have a snack, stick to the nachos or popcorn as these are pretty standard and will do the job. I don't know that I've ever been to a more money-sucking arcade in my life, so DEFINITELY skip that unless you have serious cash to burn. Pitiful amount of tickets and dollar store level prizes. Instead, enjoy the bumper boats, the mini golf, and somewhat-slow go karts. I think a facelift and some upgrades would do wonders for this place, but understandably they need some time to bounce back from the pandemic. Set your expectations appropriately and pay them a visit! read more

Hey this is a fun place. Mini Golf is a fun institution, and they definitely have it here in a classic style. It's low-key, playful and a very relaxing way to hang with friends and acquaintances. Part of our larger group splintered over to Golf N Stuff, and I was happy to be here. Been forever since I played, and it was a good time. Anyone can play, and it's pretty reasonably priced, too. Hard to find a reason not to check this out. Also, they have a ton of video games in their indoor area. Looks engaging, but not something I checked out. The different holes are creatively imagined - just don't expect anything too modern. That's fine. Oh, and try not to hit your ball out of play. I have visited for decades and have ALWAYS loved GNS. But wow, this weekend was terrible. Out of town friends with us, we walked in, (literally at about 11:00am). I ran to the restroom (after drive) walked out and immediately was approached and asked to leave the park as there was a "women with alcohol" in the bathroom. I actually love that GNS does not allow that. But making false accusations is not ok. Do better! read more

I went here on a day trip with my family expecting a good time and making fun memories. I got the exact opposite of that... Upon arrival it's very noticeable that this place is run down and needs some major maintenance. I noticed this before I even walked inside! The arcade is a mix of new and ancient games. It's funny to see a brand new touch screen arcade game next to a run down paint chipped ski ball game. The golf courses are a cute theme but REALLY need some work done.. the wood fences are cracked, faded, and worn. You can see from the photo how bad it actually is. My little cousin wanted to ride the Batmobile but I was worried it was gonna fall apart if I put him in it. You can see from the photo how bad it looks. Showed up at 12:00PM on a Wednesday and was sold $90 worth of "Golf and ride" passes for 3 people. The sales clerk didn't bother to mention the rides don't open until 3:00PM. When I complained that no one told us we'd have to stand around for 3 hours waiting for the rides the manager apologized but said the best he could do is convert our ride passes to arcade credit. This place is either run by total incompetents with no training or a total scam. We won't ever be back. read more

Golf N' Stuff was great. They have a full arcade, go karts, bumper cars, and bumper boats. It's $20 per person to do one ride, the mini golf course, and you get four tokens for the arcade. The mini golf course was a lot of fun and I believe they have 36 holes. We played the first 18 holes. You'll need at least four hours here to do everything. We will be back. read more

Golf N' Stuff Ventura has been here over 40 years. Growing up in Oxnard/Ventura area, the castle which can been seen from the freeway, was such an iconic image. It was something ALL kids looked forward to seeing and would beg their parents to take them. Personally, I didn't get to really experience Golf N' Stuff until I was a teenager. My friends and I would occasionally hang out here in groups when we had no plans or didn't want to go to the mall. My nephew was invited to a friend's birthday party here. They planned for a Sunday, April 14th at 3pm party. They food, drinks and cake were the first part of the party, which is usually the end of most parties at locations like Skyzone, Sky High, Pump It up and locations like that. The kids were able to get tokens from the hosts and were able to run around the arcade playing games and winning tickets. Once the party was moved outside, they kids were able to enjoy any activities if they had a bracelet, which gained them entrance to lazer tag, miniature golf, bumper cars, water bumper cars and the race track and a few other things I am sure I forgot. The host said the party (for about 10 kids) cost about $300, which isn't bad at all considering some of the other locations mentioned previously cost at least that and maybe more. I felt that there was more bang for your buck at Golf N' Stuff just because of the variety of activities the kids and adults were able to experience. I think the adults had just as much fun as the kids, to be completely honest. Our experience here was so great that my husband and I are considering having one of our nephews birthday celebrations here. I am really glad that Golf N' Stuff is back! My boyfriend and I stopped by on a Tuesday afternoon to play some mini golf. When we came we were the only party there and by the time we left there was one other couple and a father-daughter duo but that was it around 1pm. This place is pretty small compared to other places we've been but relatively well-maintained. They have two full 18-hole courses and for the price of $13 pp, you can pick any one full course to try (or $18 pp for 2 hrs unlimited regardless of course). We were only able to try the first one until we got hungry so we'll be back again one day to speak about the second one. The course was not too challenging just some good fun for beginners I'd say. Maybe the second one is a bit more fun for competitive partners :) Right now only the mini golfing is open. Bumper cars and arcade games, etc are currently closed as they are high touch surfaces. I wouldn't recommend coming here as early as we did since the sun was beating down on our backs while we were there. I'd say come in a bit around sunset when the sun isn't so harsh. read more

Golf and stuff is always a great time. Got to spend time there today with family. The golf course is always great as well as the amenities and activities. The grounds and the gardens are always meticulously kept and clean. There were a number of games down today which was kind of a bummer as well as the machines that count the tickets for the kids in the arcade, there was a note on the door stating that due to Covid there was a shortage of parts for the machinery and games. The staff here is always helpful courteous and kind. Today the shining star was Jayce T. at the gift counter. She went above and beyond to ensure that the children were able to get the toys that they wanted and did not rush them in anyway shape or form. She gave them her full undivided attention. Growing up driving up or down the 101 you glance over and this place always looked like Disneyland. In middle to high school it's the spot to hangout. Fast for award to parenthood it's a way to entertain kids for a couple hrs and not break the bank. It's old, it's crusty but it is what it is. Usually packed with middle school to early high school kids and it's memories they remember when their older. Worst customer service/management I've ever encountered We were there celebrating my nieces bday, and walked out to someone hitting my BRAND NEW car. No note. No nothing. Waited for the "general manager" Jessica on Monday to see any camera footage. She told me she would send me videos thru text. All I wanted to see was the surroundings of the parking lot camera. She was extremely careless and made it out that I was basically wasting her time. She was off at 6pm and would get to it tomorrow. We spoke at 2:50. She couldn't take the time to help me. She later sent me one photo and stated that's all we have available. No camera footage nothing. Just a photo of their trash area. Unfortunately people are rude. Careless. And self absorb. My car is BRAND new and I haven't made a payment yet. After years and years of going to golf n stuff. My family friends neighbors clients will NEVER support a business like this. Now a days customer service more important than ever! Being kind doesn't cost a thing. Just super disappointing in the management at a place like this. Definitely run down. Needs help. TLC. Not just a putt-putt establishment, but it has other amenities too. A large Arcade one could live out one's life playing all the numerous games familiar and new. Mechanical rides for the kiddos include the Batmobile and Dino the Dinosaur. They also offer bumper cars, bumper boats, and Go-karts. Pricing was reasonable except for the arcade which also had a dizzying multitude of kids. I enjoyed the kitschy vintage nature of the model castle, pirate ship, etc.. As well and the mysterious blue-green dyed pools everywhere. There are 2 courses to choose from. We chose Course 1 and it was great fun for the adults and young kids alike in my party! The youngest kiddo was a natural putter. It appears as if it has not been updated since the 80's and needs improvements. The food isn't great and water was overpriced considering how thirsty one gets on the course. My bad, I ordered an extra slice of cheese pizza so she had to rework the order and then said a sly remark to Cindy with her head turned. My friends and I ventured into Golf N' Stuff after a day of fun in Ventura. We wanted to ride the indy carts, which had prices listed as $7 per passenger, and $14 per driver. I had to be a passenger because I was not wearing closed toed shoes, totally reasonable, I was also stoked that I was saving a bit of money. That is where the issue lies, as soon as we went up to the payment counter, the manager informed us that it would be $14 for me as a passenger. He gave no explanation for this sudden doubling of the price (which is illegal under California law, if a place of business posts a price to the public, they must charge said price to the public.) I, personally, will never patronize this business again as I know of many other fun places in the area that do not engage in the practice of false advertising. read more

This is the middle of July - their prime time. Still charged full price. The Arcade was all about separating you from your money. It was adorable with a western theme. After mini golf with went go-karting which was so much fun, and I was so nervous but the staff was so nice and made me feel comfortable (I won) lol. Recently had a visit at this course with the family. The overall goal was to just hit the green and just do a quick round. It's hard for me to authenticate the course due to my lack of experience on PGA approved golf courses. With that said I felt overall the place was adequate for my stellar performance and didn't have that "rundown" feel many have previously stated. I had no interaction with the game center, so I offer no feedback on that aspect. All employees that I made contact with provided that warm friendly service one would receive at any country club across the globe. I have been coming here since I was a little kid for birthday parties, first dates, class events and so on. Over the years I feel like so much has improved yet nothing has really changed. The equipment is all decently new looking, the arcade has a ton of cool new games but it still gets old pretty fast, and the courses are all the same. I have never been a fan of any kind of golf but somehow really excel at this location of mini golf. Generally when you are hardcore winning all the time you're adrenaline from that win excites you and causes you to have an awesome time.. For here though I just seem to always feel content. Not ecstatic or even something I say "I can't wait to come back," just content. I think my favorite aspects about this mini golf location would be the creative aspect of the hole decor (like the Tarzan holes and along the creekside) and the fact they have bumper cars + auto racing. Unfortunately the prices have gone up over the years so I generally just come to do the mini golf with a group, play a couple arcade games, and call it a night. I would love to see a little with this spot and maybe some reasonable group pricing edits. It would be cool to have better food and alcohol options as well. We've been driving by Golf N'Stuff for years, we noticed the cute castle and finally I decided to give miniature golf a shot. So, my husband took me here recently, on a Saturday afternoon. The place was lively, you enter through an arcade to get to the ticket booth to purchase tickets. $9,75 per person per course, they do have 2 courses, so it wasn't easy to choose. We went for the Castle one (we'll leave the mine one for the next time- it has a cute western town in there as well). The kids working behind the counter weren't helpful at explaining us the lay of the land. We just kinda followed a nice family who were ahead of us and figured it out that way. There was also a security dude who had to come and talk to us while we were playing, well, I didn't appreciate that. If I'm not doing anything wrong, don't spoil my fun. I know he was watching us for some reason. So, the staff could be nicer. Otherwise, the place is fun, I loved the cute obstacles, the Buenaventura Mission, the Taj Mahal (I guess), the elephant coming our of the water, cute bridges. It's a cool course, and I can say I didn't do bad for a first timer, sure I didn't win the game, but so what, we played for the fun of it. There's a free parking lot, pretty big. Bathrooms could be cleaner, there are kinda small and have a strange structure. Too bad the place is that close to the freeway. But these are small complaints. It opens at 10 am. Check their site for pricing for various activities, passes, etc. They usually close at 10 pm or Midnight (check for summer hours), so there's plenty of time for fun. You can come as a couple, with a group of friends or family, stay as little or as much as you want. Golf N' Stuff is a great place to feel you're a kid again, play a game of something another and have a nice time out. I'd go again, do the other course this time, check it out. My husband and I have been going here 1-2x a month for the last two years. They did a few renovations during the pandemic, especially to the course with the gold mine. However, we were bummed yesterday. The prices went up a bit, the bathroom lights were off with no way to turn on the switch (unless you can hale one of the employees) and the course we were on was in poor condition. Then there's another issue which I'm sure really can't be helped but the last few times we've come there have been groups skipping and cutting all over the place. I don't blame the place for rude customers however if you're going to raise prices maybe have the courses in better condition. read more

Yelp 100 Challenge 77 Have seen this place tons of times while driving on the 101 north. Years ago there were several locations of miniature golf, now this is the only one in the area. The golf fun consists of two courses with various obstacle and traps making for a great time. It's a tad pricey for kids as it's one price for everyone. The better deal is to purchase a pass for the go karts, the water tubes or the bumper cars. As you walk into the building, you're going to walk through many video games with flashing screens and lights, keep on walking towards the back, if golf is your destination. Remember your sunscreen and closed toe shoes as sandals are not permitted on the rides. read more
