Every ride my son (4 years old at the time) rode on with myself or his auntie was so thrilling for him. He also experienced his first roller coaster here and he enjoyed it. We also ate lunch here and I'd have to say even the pricing for their food is decent for this day and age. Extremely grateful by how clean they keep the theme park and how friendly the staff are! Definitely a must-visit if you're ever in the OC area and need a fun spot to take your little ones where it won't break the bank for you. read more

Cant believe I have never heard of this place sooner! This place was so much fun I am so glad that I found out about it! We took my 7month old baby here and there is a couple of rides that we can take him on. The fun part was the carouseland the petting zoo. Great spot for little kids. There's not too much to do, but there's a lot going for it. 1. Free parking 2. Small crowds 3. Short lines for rides 4. Food more affordable than Knott's and Disney. $4.50 for a pretzel vs $10 at knotts. We were in and out after about 2 hours and we hit all of the rides. My little one is about 34 inches tall so she can't quite do everything yet, but I would take her back every now and then. read more

I went to adventure city for my little cousin's fifth birthday. It's a cute little mini park for anyone who can't afford Disneyland. When you walk in, it was decorated really cute for Easter and there was plenty of rides that weren't so big. They had a dance party for the little kids. You can also rent little rooms for birthday parties. They do offer chicken tenders, french fries, sandwiches and soda. You are not allowed to bring your own cake so they offer cupcakes. read more

We just threw my son's 7th birthday party at Adventure City and the kids and I think even the adults had a blast! Everything was so well coordinated! We were lucky to book the Tree party room which needs a minimum of 35 guests (thats anyone over the age of 1) to maximum 55 guests. And all you have to do is bring the table covers and cake and they take care of the rest, now me being extra I brought some balloons and goody bags! But they still set up everything so nicely even the cupcakes and cake on trays and the goody bags on a nice table. I loved that! You're given a time slot to use the room, so that would be my only little qualm with it bc it's only an hour for the price per head, which felt a little rushed to get everyone inside and eat the pizza and cut the cake and eat the cake and pictures and stuff all within an hour. Like if you ordered anything else it took some time too. I would hope they extend the time for larger parties, or work on that. For the rest of the day not the eating hour in the party room, the party package includes everyone access to all the rides all day from opening to closing! And the petting farm. The only thing not included is the arcade. But overall amazing time, and then the leftover food, cake, the decor you want to keep or goody bags are kept for you at the party station till you leave the park. What I love to is that my son has cousins and friends that range from age 2-10 so we needed to find a venue that can accommodate what everyone could enjoy! This was it! read more

Came here with the family, and honestly this place gives me Fantasyland vibes but way more relaxed and budget friendly. If you have little ones, this is a win. What I like most is the value. You're not paying Disneyland prices, but your kids can ride everything multiple times with almost no wait. No stressing about Lightning Lanes, no rushing across the park -- just simple rides and letting the kids have fun. Rides are definitely geared toward younger kids, which worked perfect for us. It's small, easy to get around, and you can knock out everything without feeling exhausted. Now don't get me wrong, Disneyland is still Disneyland. The theming, the magic, the experience... it's on another level. But you're paying for that. Adventure City is more of a budget-friendly Fantasyland. Adventure City is a rare sight in modern, corporate America: the independent amusement park. Not owned by Disney, Universal, Six Flags, or Cedar Fair, Adventure City sells itself as a "the little theme park that is big on family fun". This small David, surrounded by an army of Goliath mega-parks in Anaheim, undoubtedly delivers on that promise. We have visited Adventure City three times now with our young daughters (last 6 and 4), and every time has been a blast. The park is small but kid oriented, with children from 2-9 years of age the target audience. There is an assortment of rides for the youngest (a car ride visited by pediatric celebrity Blippi, a themed train ride, and petting zoo populated by obese, happy goats), some for the middle (a twisty balloon spin and rickety, horizontal-G driven family coaster), and a couple for the older age (a reversing shuttle coaster, a drop tower). Each are small and carry personality. The admission to the park is a very reasonable $30 per person (ages 1+) which will buy you anywhere from 2 to 5 hours of entertainment depending on how much you endurance you have. All rides can be rode once in just over two hours by my estimate. The staff are all friendly and seem to genuinely enjoy working here. I cannot overstate how important it is to support local parks like Adventure City. Quality family entertainment targeted to our youngest and an incredible price, Adventure City is as unique as it is unbelievable. Check them out - your little ones will love you for it! read more

You could spend a thousand dollars on a family trip to Disneyland, where no amount of outlay will save you from the crowds and lines and relentless hassle. But if you're local with small children who don't entirely know the difference, consider a day at Adventure City. It's a less ambitious Anaheim excursion, with $32 tickets and negligible wait times. Our five-year-old Leo B. earned a trip to Adventure City with several weeks' worth of good behavior. I charged him 50 stickers for the excursion, and it was highly motivating, as he loves amusement parks and had seen Adventure City on Blippi (did I show him this video? no, but one way or another, Blippi will find your kids). We went a couple weeks ago, arriving at 11:30 on a Saturday morning in July. Peak of summer, no advance reservations, and we were able to park, buy tickets, and walk in without a minute's delay. My first thought on arriving in that parking lot was that I'd overcharged my kid by a good 30 or so stickers. Adventure City is on a much smaller scale than any other amusement park I've ever seen, more like a permanent county fair, about the size of a suburban Target. The place was great, though, and dense with attractions for the five-and-under demographic. We may not have gotten our steps in, but the kids were entertained for a solid three hours, and we could have stayed longer if we hadn't seen the opportunity to get back to L.A. in time for dinner. We rode the Rescue Ride, the Express Train, the Freeway Coaster, the Carousel, the Barnstormer Planes, and the Balloon Race, then went back and re-rode the planes and the train. Our two-year-old Wade B. was big enough to ride everything except the Freeway Coaster, which I went on with Leo. Neither of us especially liked the coaster--too scary for him, too rickety for me--but all the other rides were gentle, easy, and highly enjoyable for both of our kids. Leo was also quite interested in the more intimidating Rewind Racers (just an academic interest; he had no desire to get on), which I've since heard is actually a smoother ride than the Freeway Coaster. It goes both forwards and backwards, making good use of the park's limited space. We had lunch at Parker's Fill-Up Station, Adventure City's primary eatery. It was pretty good, with solid options for both kids and adults. There was plentiful seating, some of it right by Stage 39, where we got to witness one of the day's regularly scheduled family dance parties. Wade was very into the music and joined for the end of the party and beyond, dancing until he was sweaty and red in the face. There were more rides we could have gone on, as well as a petting zoo and an arcade. An absolute bounty of amusement for little kids. Adventure City isn't a destination in the same way as Disneyland or Legoland, but it's a fantastic place with a high ratio of child joy to parental effort. read more

Celebrated my great niece's birthday here and it was such a fun experience. For the price per person, it was totally worth it. We had unlimited rides and a room reserved for an hour with pizza and drinks included. They even set up decorations with the party supplies my nephew brought and handled all the cleanup. I love adventure city! We celebrated my son's 1st birthday there, as well as my nephew's birthday on a different occasion. They have 1 main private party area in a treehouse. They served pizza, salad, and soft drinks and gave us some time to sing Happy Birthday and spend some time as a family before playing at the park again. The rides are perfect for young toddlers and kids (really for all ages). Our favorites are the train, roller coaster, and carousel! You can eat your own food outside the park with complementary picnic tables. The food options inside the park are impressive for a small park. They offer a typical food court with chicken tenders, salad, fries, etc. They have an ice cream shop where they serve Starbucks and a small snack cart. We can't wait to go again! read more

We had so much fun!!!! It made sense to get there right when it opened and we were able to ride all the rides and some. It is the perfect amount of fun for age 4 without spending so much at knotts or Disney it was a mini version and it was just what we needed. The crowds did come later and the food is definitely to be expected but the staff was so polite and helpful. Totally stoked that we could ride the rides with the kids as even church carnivals won't let you sometimes and some kids can't get the full experience. I wouldn't recommend going here for a birthday. For any other regular day, I would probably add an extra star because it is nice that it's not as crowded compared to other theme parks. However as we were here to celebrate my daughter's special day, it is the biggest factor for my review. There are two rides my daughter loved here--Rewind Racers and Drop Zone. Everything else are kiddie rides if that is what you're looking for. We bought two fun cards for our party which we didn't even use up despite all the kids taking a turn rock climbing, feeding the goats, and playing at the arcade. The arcade prizes are not too bad as far as variety and ticket pricing. To be transparent the fun cards were purchased as a mistake because they thought it comes with admission (it does not). Another pro is plenty of seating and enough shade around, and the misting area is also a nice addition. We tried the dance party too which the kids liked. It's so small inside though that strollers are more of a hassle and if you need a mobility device like I did, it could be hard to get around with it. They could also play a cute closing song like other theme parks do instead of just acting annoyed at the end of the day lol. Overall it was okay to experience once but my kid says that she doesn't want to come back again. We came to celebrate my daughter's birthday with family and friends. I emailed Adventure City ahead of time to let them know about her disability and I got rude, unhelpful responses from a person named Sherry. I was inquiring about anything that would help us in planning such as sensory break areas or ride information that wasn't already listed on the website. We weren't looking to cut the line which there aren't really any, but just more so anything else that could help with planning (perhaps other neurospicy parents would understand what I mean). I don't appreciate them minimizing my inquiries down to this and Sherry suggesting that we only stay for 3 hours instead of maximizing our day. Even her neurotypical playmates had meltdowns from overstimulation here (and from them not allowing outside food unlike other theme parks in the area). If they were more accommodating it would have made a huge difference. Talking to "customer service" was very off-putting and Sherry made it clear that accessibility is not something they prioritize. We did notice that they weren't checking anyone's bags (so one of the parents considered this a red flag when it comes to security) but they knew that we were celebrating her birthday so they were extra strict to check that we didn't bring any food with us to celebrate. We had less than the 15 people minimum so we didn't book a table inside--we ate outside instead which was way too windy to set anything up nicely. If the park did something small for birthdays like giving out a birthday button would go a long way. Also the birthday package includes free parking which is already included for everyone so it's a bit strange to be marketed in that way. Not one single employee greeted my kid who told everyone it was the day of her actual birthday. No one here really seemed to care. For a small theme park I was really surprised that the people running it weren't more family friendly. Hopefully this helps out other families in planning. Accessibility issues and staff training regarding that obviously needs the most improvement. I saw another reviewer talk about an injury that happened at the park and no one helping (don't remember a first aid or guest services spot now that I think about it--hopefully there is one there but it didn't stand out like other theme parks). Surprisingly they weren't friendlier on social media from my experience when I tagged them (you think they'd appreciate the free marketing lol) so I'm not sure if that is handled by the same person who does emails. Seemed like the same snobby vibe. Anyway. We'd really love to see the customer service improved moving forward, as well as how birthdays are handled. All kids deserve to feel celebrated on their special day. Also make sure to triple check the park hours and the admission price! This place is great if you have a toddler! We took a day trip here on a Monday for our son's 2nd birthday a few weeks ago. There were multiple summer camp groups there that day, but still basically no wait for the rides. We walked on most of them whenever we wanted to, but if we had to wait, the wait time was maybe 5 minutes. Our son is on the bigger side for his age at 35". At that size, he was able to do all the rides except for the roller coasters. The no wait thing is great for this age. If your toddler is newer to amusement parks like ours, then you know lol ... toddlers this young have no concept of lines or that rides have to end. When we go to Knott's, he has frequent tantrums in the long lines and especially when each ride ends. The rides ending just break his little heart lol. At this park, those issues didn't happen because there's just no waits for anything compared to other area amusement parks. As others said, it's unusually clean here. Like Disneyland clean. Knotts is disgusting within its first hour of opening lol, but this place isn't like that at all. The bathrooms are included in this statement. We loved how they had a changing room (a huge one with a sink and swinging door for easy access) in between the bathrooms. It's always much easier for us to change him while out in public if we can both go in, so the bathroom setup here for that was perfect. Food here is the usual amusement park assortment, BUT half the cost. Like a pretzel with cheese at Disneyland is nearly $15. Here, it was around $6 for the exact same product. You can bring in water bottles and they have a water fountain for free refills. I'd say the ideal age for this place is 18 months (if walking) - 5 or 6. We'd definitely take him back! read more

Went to this Amusement part in Anaheim, it was a small park but it's full of fun. Good for kids under 5 years of age. They have good number of rides for the kids and families can easily spent few hours. Tickets are not that costly and this place is worth the price. They also have a petting zoo, rock climbing and arcade is not included in the ticket and need to pay extra. I think they can work on more options for food, as there is not much variety. Perfect easy amusement park for kids (3 - 11 years old) and tired parents who don't want to pay a small fortune to stand in line all day. Bought $30 tickets & a $20 fun card (for the arcade & animal feed) online the day before. Adventure City is not fancy and more like a local fair than a full blown theme park like Disneyland/Knott's. Although it was winter break and the free parking lot was packed, the longest wait all day was 7 minutes for the police/firetruck/ambulance ride. My 4.5yo daughter & 7yo nephew had a blast and repeated their favorite plane ride 5 times. They both survived the smaller bumpy rollercoaster & the dizzy hot air balloon ride but didn't want to ride those again. Older kids will enjoy the 2 rollercoasters and 1 Drop free-fall ride. Food is typical churro, pizza, burger, chips, ice cream. They serve Starbucks coffee but do not accept SB rewards. Petting zoo full of goats is free with little petting brushes & a convenient handwash station. Chicken and goat feed cost 30 tokens. Having read multiple glowing reviews, and having done my Yelp research before going, I had high expectations coming into this park. Sadly, I am sorry to need to honestly report, this place was totally misrepresented. The business owner has photos with mascot characters, Adventure Dog & City Kitty posing with children amongst their posted Yelp photos. Upon entering the park, we were told by a female employee at the gate (Grace, I think?) that they had no mascot characters. I asked if that was new? She replied ... "Not new. We used to have them, but we don't have them anymore." There are also pictures of them throughout the park (see my photos). Then she proceeded to tell us we could not go in with outside food and drink. Not a big deal, but I was surprised as that was one of the major selling factors for us. Multiple Yelp reviews mentioned that you COULD enter with outside food. One even described the patron having seen a family with a Del Taco bag inside. NOT TRUE. I then asked if THAT was a new policy explaining what I just voiced here. She told me no, and that they had NEVER allowed outside food and drink. Bummer. After this I did look it up on the website, and it is stated there that outside food and drink items are NoT allowed. So, 2 major disappointments before we even entered the gates. Whilst we were there ... a little after 7pm, we walked to the hot air balloon ride. Kids wanted to ride it. A lady had just fallen exiting the ride ... FLAT on her face. She was laying there, motionless. Nobody appeared to be coming to her aid. I called 911. An employee near me, when I insisted, looked up the address to the park & provided it to the dispatcher. Just then, an employee in a management role ran up, lied to the dispatcher (and us) telling her that she already phoned and had paramedics on the way. The park closed at 8pm. No paramedics ever came. The lady was still there, in distress, at the ballon ride, and multiple employees were gathered around with clipboards (taking their own accident report). This is deplorable ... For this park to worry about their own liability over and above their customers' safety!!!! I could not even believe this. What if it had been my child who had been injured or myself, I thought. I cannot even comprehend the way they put themselves before the highest good of the customer's health and safety! Adventure City should be ashamed of themselves!!!! WE WILL NEVER RETURN! The arcade prizes were the cheapest junk I have ever seen in any arcade offering, bar none. So much so that I used our last 1,400 tickets to get a slingshot for the kids as we might as well have gotten SOMETHING for the money we spent in the arcade ... After which my 8-year-old exclaimed, "Why did you get this junk?!? We told you we don't even want it." Now, THAT IS PRETTY BAD! I went to the Starbucks and asked for a caramel macchiato. I had wanted it hot, but before I realized that the guy had not asked me if I wanted it hot or cold, it came up at the pick up counter cold. :-( Pros: 1)Free Parking 2)No lines (even on a busy Saturday) 3)Kids liked the rides. This park was a lot better than I imagined. I have a four year old boy and he was completely in love with all the attractions and (as many other people have said) the lines aren't long so he was able to ride all his favorites many, many, times. Definitely aimed at younger children. Wouldn't bother with a stroller since the area is fairly small. Bummer that they don't do season passes. Food / beverages are moderately priced. We did have one small issue related to retail - we purchased a die cast trash truck at the shop connected to the Rescue Ride. Purchased it in the middle of our day and attempted to exchange the defective product right as we exited at which the attendant was fairly rude and resistance towards being helpful. The truck was broken (and I later realized the receptacle was supposed to come with a lid) and these trucks / cars are extremely sturdy so the break (whether purchased that way or not) was unacceptable. I didn't spend (close to) $20 on a toy to throw it away after four hours. The retailer clerk (I didn't get her name) didn't want to exchange the trash truck for us because of the time that had lapsed between the purchase and my attempt at receiving assistance and when I asked to speak to the manager (with tons of pride) she asserted that she was the manager. I (as politely as possible) asked to speak to her boss because even with her title everyone has a boss. I was then told that the only person above her was the owner of the park and he wasn't available to which I replied (mind you, they are about to close) "it's okay, I'll wait here til he is." The clerk then agreed to exchange the toy and in big red letters stamped our receipt notifying of "Final Sale." Not sure if I believe her version of the chain of command but I got what I needed (the exchange) so that's not my problem. The new trash truck, by the way, months later is intact and in great working condition. Will I return to Adventure City? Absolutely! Will I ever purchase anything from them (other than maybe water) again? Definitely not! read more

Made another visit to Adventure City to celebrate a special someone's birthday. With an accident in Oceanside, the drive up from San Diego was quite the adventure in itself! I arrived at noon and walked to the ticket booth to get my tickets. Saved a few bucks rather than buying them online to avoid the convenience fee was actually convenient. I didn't have to use the shuttle to get from the lot to the entrance because they aren't huge like Disneyland and don't have the need for one. Parking was easy and free! (Score) Walked through the park and it's few sections within a few minutes to plan our day. Keep in mind I had a double stroller which was easy to maneuver around the place since it wasn't crowded as it would have been in Disneyland. Managed to visit and ride a few things within minutes including the carousel! No fast pass needed. Grabbed an Icee, caramel apples and food (pizza, nachos and chips) to get the kids ready for a fun filled day. Again, no long lines. Ended up at the petting zoo area and watched where boba came from lol - that's what I told my son. Ended up buying churros nearby. Afterwards let them dance at Stage 39 and pretty much called it a day. All in all, it was a good day. For a family of four, we ate, drank, danced, played and rode for about 4 hours and spent less than $200 which included admission. Was it worth it? Just look at the smiles on my kids faces... The good: I came with my two year old and we had a blast. It's the perfect toddler theme park and was much more worthwhile than going to Disneyland. We got to go on almost all of the rides by the time it hit noon. Barely any lines for any of the rides. There's also a free play area where my daughter got to build train tracks and play with puzzles. Parking is free! We had no trouble finding parking even when we left for lunch and came back. I enjoyed the goat petting area. You get to brush their fur with combs and also feed them. The area was very clean. I'd definitely like to come back again. The bad; The line for the ambulance and police ride was longest. We only saw one chicken but there seemed to be more of them in Meekah's YouTube video. The interesting: Blippi and Meekah did an episode here for YouTube. They feature it on the tv in the line while waiting for the police car ride. We loved this place! It's small but there is so much to do. All the staff members were great. They were happy, and truly looked like they enjoyed their job. we live super close to adventure city and we absolutely loved loved loved it. Basically if Disneyland is really packed you can totally go to adventure city and have a wonderful fun time with your family. The kids seriously loved it and the lines were not that long it wasn't even crowded when we went and we got to do so many things. The hours for the park depends on what day 10 AM till 6 PM or 10 AM till 7 PM! what I love about this park is the parking is free. We don't have to pay like $35 for general parking like at Disneyland lol General admission from ages 1 to 54 is $29.95! and thered a senior discount too! the girls loooved the train ride!! actually they loved like all rides that they could ride on!! our fave fave was the dance bubble party! Great place for toddlers! This is a small amusement park with 10 or so of what I think of as carnival or fair rides. They do have 2 roller coasters- 1 smaller one that is jerky and the other one is a "rewind coaster" which is scarier than the name suggests. This place is for ages 2-12 according to their website but there are some rides that they can go on if they can sit up with an adult of course. Carousel is oniy 2 rows deep which I have never seen before. I prefer the carousel ride at the LA zoo to this one. No characters or performances but they do have a "dance party" with bubbles at certain times. Food is usual fast food for usual prices. Husband ordered a cheeseburger and fries, curly fries and onion rings and liked them. You can bring your own food, water, drinks without an issue. Lots of picnic tables but hard to find shade. 2 bathrooms with changing tables. And a mommy & me stall but no toilet paper. 1 by the dance floor and 1 by the drop zone. Recommend a swings ride and a play area with a climbing structure for the littles. Easy free parking. If parking is crowded, park will be also. read more

Recently my family (2 adults + 2 kids age 4 and 2) visited Adventure City for the first time and was pleasantly surprised at this amazing gem! Adventure City may be a small amusement park competing in a sea of amusement parks in the Anaheim neighborhood. It's not as grand nor early as crowded as Disneyland, but it definitely has its own charm and appeal, especially for little kids. We also appreciated that there were enough food options available in the park. The restroom was clean and has stools for little kids. The park is not very big, so we were able to see everything we wanted to do in about four hours. The admission price was reasonable, and we got a small discount for buying online. The park is divided into different "themed?" areas, but don't kid yourself. This is no Fantasyland of Disneyland. What it does have is everything you expect a park to have: indoor arcade, dancing arena, and various rides. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the park was clean and well-maintained. It's exactly what I expect from what I paid for: a functional park with rides that are fun for my 4 year olds while not feeling like I gotta spend 12 hours here to get my moneys worth. Parking is free. The lines can get long in the afternoon. But there was really nothing that stood out as a glaring issue. I imagine older kids would get bored quite quickly at this place, but I could barely get my kids out of the park without bawling their eyes out. Adventure City was truly made for the toddlers. Overall, we had a fun and memorable time at Adventure City and we would recommend it to anyone looking for a family-friendly and affordable alternative to Disneyland. It's a great place to spend a few hours and enjoy some rides and attractions without breaking the bank or waiting in long lines. Adventure City Park What an amazing hidden gem! I've lived in the area for over 40 years and had no idea this wonderful park existed. Adventure City is a beautiful, calm, and well-maintained place, perfect for kids under eight. We recently celebrated our granddaughter's birthday there this past Sunday, and it was a fantastic experience. Not only did the kids have a blast, but so did the adults! We had the party in the Treehouse, and everything was well-organized. The food was good, with plenty to eat and drink (soft drinks only, no hard liquor). I highly recommend this park to anyone willing to drive an hour or even two. It's worth spending the entire day here. A great spot for family fun! read more

Lots of great things for little kids, like a mini rollercoaster made for little kids, I loved the bigger one. There's a lot of things for little kids for this place. Here's the experience: Rides: A Dropzone, I don't like dropzones, since they're boring to me, but it's fun for kids when I saw. The small rollercoaster, it was fun, I prefer Pirates of the Caribbean from Disneyland, much more fun for me. The big rollercoaster, a lot more fun than the smaller one, lot's of speed, some fast stuff, I prefer Tiana's Baou from Disneyland. The airplane ride and airballon ride, they were both equally the same amount of fun, I was lifting the plane up and down like I was in a movie. Food, off brand Jack In The Box, but it's good, and the other food, pretty good. Arcades are very fun there, the prizes are great. And the Shop with like all of those figures, fidgets, and toys, like a kid's gift shop, it's great, I got a 3-D printed Dragon, pretty cool. But ummm..... QUESTION: WHICH IS MORE WORTH DISNEYLAND OR ADVENTURE CITY? LETS RATE THIS THING!!!!! Benefits: Disneyland: More rides, more fun, better food, meet and greets. Adventure city: More of a kids place, like a 3 year old place, but still.... This is the cutest place for little humans and their families to explore. Parking may seem tight sometimes in the main lot but don't fret there is a second one. Entry was seamless and smooth. Once inside it's a kids dream. Plenty of rides with minimal lines and wait times. The club houses for events and parties are the best and the food is GREAT!! I truly enjoyed this place as a child. I'm so happy to see that it's still going strong!

TLDR: Clean, well maintained, and perfect for smaller kids. Food was good and responsibly priced too. Got 2 kids under five. We go to Disneyland all the time but there's limited rides for them and lines can get a bit crazy; not a problem at Adventure City. It was our first time and we went on a Sunday at 10:30am, which ended up being perfect. Around 12pm, you can feel the park getting crowded but even then, the longest wait for a ride was like 15mins. The place is well thought out: there's tables and chairs everywhere with umbrellas for shade, there's a mist tent to cool down, saw staff regularly cleaning, rides queues are well defined, there's multiple clean bathroom locations, and the layout allows for easy exploring with multiple things to do not too far away. Does the place feel brand new? No. Is it an amazing experience? No. Do some of the rides feel like they're from your local carnival? Yes! Adventure City has charm and it was a joy seeing so many rides my kids could go on. read more

Definitely a great spot to take the smaller kids for a much affordable price compared to Disneyland. It's much less crowded, they have a bunch of rides for all ages so it keeps all the kids busy, the prices fairly reasonable however the parking can get a bit difficult on weekends. I would definitely recommend this place if you have kids. read more

I have been here twice now. Both times have been great but my most recent visit was for a birthday party for my 7 year old. I recommend having a party here for kids ages 4-7. It is very organized, affordable and easy. Their party planners have it down. I paid $100 deposit online and then they sent me their "birthday menu." 4 days before the party I gave them a head count and ordered the pizzas, fries and drinks. On the day of, you check in at the room just left of the entrance. As part of the party package, we reserved the "treehouse" room for 1 hour. We had 40 guests and it was the perfect size. (The room holds up to 55). I loved this place as a party venue because I didn't have to clean, decorate or do anything other than bring some cupcakes. My kids like the rides here but what they really love is the arcade. I highly recommend this place if you want a stress free childrens party. read more

This is a small, charming amusement park just down the street from Knott's Berry Farm, geared toward younger kids--I'd say ages 12 and under. Admission is $29.99 per person for anyone over 2 years old, and kids under 2 get in free. Parking is free, and you're allowed to come and go throughout the day, which is super convenient. Their food stand offers kid-friendly options like hot dogs, chicken nuggets, burgers, pizza, salads, nachos, ICEEs, and Coke products. You can also purchase souvenir cups for both drinks and ICEEs, which is a fun touch. If you prefer to bring your own food, there are picnic benches right outside the park where you can relax and eat. Inside, there's a small arcade and about a dozen rides that are perfect for little ones. Lines are short and move quickly. There's also a lively area where music plays and kids can join in on dance parties throughout the day--it's a great way for them to burn off some energy. The staff is always friendly and helpful, which really adds to the experience. We've been coming here since my son was 1--he's now 6--and we absolutely love it. Adventure City is a small theme park with a big personality. This park is perfect for kids 2-6, but I recently revisited with my 8 yr old and he had a blast. We have been coming here since he was about 2 and he always loved just being able to ride things multiple times. It's part of the appeal. It's small enough to where kids can walk and run around and get tired without it being too exhausting for parents. There is one restaurant to order food from with a variety of options, from salads to pizza. There is also a Starbucks inside which is nice. There are several stands for snacks etc around the carousel area as well. They also have a small petting zoo area where you can feed the animals, and an arcade with plenty of games to choose from (note: these are not included with admission). There is ample free parking. I recommend this place to anyone with a toddler or preschool aged kids, they'll love it. read more
