This place is legit! As a retro gamer and pinball fan this place is a little slice of heaven. They have both old and new pinball machines. And when I say new, they have the new Stern Pokémon machine! Rounded up at 4 , however 3.5 . This place has been open for a bit but I hadn't made my way over here. I have been super excited to stop by but I must admit, service was very lukewarm. The miss working the spot was pretty young , so perhaps lack of experience. I sat at a stool as I wanted to enjoy the vibes . I was never checked in on and I felt as though I was a bother . Drinks are canned . I asked for a glass and was told .. " All we have is plastic" as she walked away. Perhaps she's shy but there needs to be level of proper customer service. They offer Thrifty's icecream and sandwiches from Harbor Mart. The owners are super sweet, I have been following their business for awhile. A bit more energy when tending to customers would be appreciated . This spot has nice games and I love the murals! When I come back , I'll play some of the games and update my review . This place is fun. I wish it was bigger but there is literally nothing they can do about that. They have about two basketball games, one VR game, one air hockey game, one punching bag game, two (?) arcade games, a couple claw games, a couple old Atari type games, and maybe 6-8 pinball machines. You add funds digitally onto a card in maybe $5 increments or so. I think we spent 30-60 minutes in here. Really if you're good at pinball you can spend a little longer in here. If you play the other games then they are in a timed basis and you run out much faster. My son who is 11 loves this place. I don't mind it. I think it's cute and give a nice distraction and is a cute little pit stop when downtown or we don't have anything to do. They also have thrifty ice cream and sandwiches and drinks you can order. The staff has always been nice so that helps. It's nice to know you're supporting a friendly local small business. read more

The machine selection is pretty good with a lot of brand-new titles on display, but the pricing is loftier than most other pinball halls and arcades, which might affect your enjoyment, and there is no non-alcoholic beer for sale. Ayce Gogi's pinball hall is better value for money, but doesn't serve ice cream and beer and might not be convenient to transportation for you. I can comfortably recommend this place. read more

After a late lunch in Downtown Ventura, I was wandering around and found this newly opened arcade plus bar. This arcade has a retro atmosphere :) At the entrance were two pachinko machines that I used to play with as a child. The arcade had nostalgic games such as pinball, crane games, and air hockey. I love Mario cart. One of the good things is that they sell local food and drinks But all of the local beers are canned beer, about the food, the sandwiches are from Harbor Mart (it should be good, I didn't try but I love sandwiches from Harbor Mart). They have Thrifty ice cream too. It just opened so maybe many things will be added in the future! read more

Mobys is a fun addition to downtown! We stumbled upon it, while on our way to a coffee shop. Our 4 year old wanted to go so bad so we checked it out to play a game of Mario kart. It is small but mighty! With a fridge of drink choices, it's a fun after dinner place to continue a night out. read more

Moby's on Main located in downtown Ventura, is a perfect spot for some ice cream and arcade games. Moderately priced with nice variety of games. My Littles enjoyed the Thrifty ice cream. We played a couple of games and this was a nice way to break up our shopping trip. While most of their games do not cater to young ones under 6, they do have a good variety and we were able to have fun (my littles are 3 &5). Will definitely return and next time hope to play one of their pinball machines! read more

Fun place to go with kids or friends to play a game of pinball and have a Thrifty ice cream cone. They have the flavors from childhood--mint chip, rocky road, black cherry, and pecan praline. The scoops are a little small for $3.50 a pop, though. Still, a great addition to Main Street. read more

We had a great experience. We did a fundraising even with them for our local school, and Mary is so generous and easy to work with! Moby's is cool. Plain and simple. It's really cool, for everyone. The music was great. The TV's played The Dark Crystal, The Labyrinth, Spongebob, and The Wild Thornberry's. The ice cream and pinball machines are classic, there's a wide variety of drinks, alcoholic and not, and some food (we were too busy having ice cream for dinner to get any, but next time!) The person working the shift was excellent- kind and generous, and having fun while they worked. Great experience! We'll be back for sure! read more

This place is cool. It has all these pinball machines. I haven't seen a pinball machine is forever. There are classic games I haven't played since I was a child. The people are nice and it's a pretty fun spot. I don't think the price is that bad either. It wasn't crazy crowded, which I liked. At some points, we had the arcade all to our selves. Fun spot to hang out for a while. The only thing I didn't really like was that all machines were not able to take the player card. read more

I know they've worked their asses off to get this open. But it lacks. Handful of pinball games. Air hockey table is sharing the same space as that dumb punch strength thing. They have a few claw machines. Most of the games you'll have to get their card to play and only limited are coin operated. They have quite a few tables. They have a counter of thrifty's ice cream as well as select beers in house. This place gets easily overwhelming and packed. It definitely attracts the kids with their lights and prizes and games. The cleanest and best playing pinball machines you will find most anywhere in So. CA. Well maintained! Even the older titles look like they were just slipped out of their original boxes. My son and I had a great time here today. Spent about an hour playing pinball and Mario Kart. I personally love the vibe. Much more low key than a Dave and Busters type place (which I personally dislike). If I were out with friends looking for a drink, this would for sure be our place. A little pinball and then just chill and talk. They had a good beer selection. My one recommendation down the line would be to get a tap if possible. Regardless, cool place! read more

I'll be honest...the concept's there. It has the potential. But you can play the small amount of games available here and it seems large wins are all for nothing. Maybe I'm missing something? We spent about half an hour and $40 each on games, and some we won, some we lost. But the wins amounted to nothing. I'd love to see this place make it here, cuz lord knows Main Street needs more action, but I don't think they're there yet. read more

Exactly what Ventura needed!! The lighting, music, and all the sounds of the arcade and people enjoying themselves make for a great vibe. Ice cream, food, and drinks were all affordable and tasty. They've got a variety of fun games to play if you bring the kids, and also seven high-end and well-maintained pinball machines for the pinheads! This will definitely be a new regular spot for me! Moby's is local and family-owned, and the couple who own it are the sweetest, kindest people. One of the employees behind the counter, Carlin, was especially friendly and brought a ton of fun energy to the space! read more

This place is so cool. As a kid who got turned away from the arcade most times that I saw one, this place is a dream come true. Spending $30 on pure games has never felt so good. Yelling at the claw machine and playing games with my friends all while having a local beer in my hand is the best time ever. Hope this place continues to grow because it's the best stop for a night going through Main Street. read more

Cool place, they have like approximately 8 pinball machines or so plus other games as well. A few retro games as well. Also, they have Thrifty Ice cream which was delicious. The person working owner, who i assume is the owner, was really nice and helpful. He was cleaning the pinball machines to keep them operating correctly. Cool place. read more

First time there today and they stole my money. I bought two beers, paid for them with cash and he gave me change. Then I gave the guy a $10 and said could I have $5 in quarters to play pinball and he gave me 20 quarters, I said you still owe me $5 and he said no. I said "why? I gave you a $10" and he said you still owed me for the beers. I didn't want to argue infront of my wife so we just went to play pinball and here I am to complain. Also should note that Mrs pac man next to the bathrooms says 25¢ a game and it's actually 50¢. Could be a very fun place to hang but they have some bugs to figure out.
