    Variety....delicious !

Good chilaquiles, but not enough to bring me back for brunch We came back after nearly a decade, and while the new chilaquiles station caught my eye, the overall experience was just okay. We took a gamble, did a walk-in, and it paid off. We got seated right away on the patio. No complaints, beautiful scenery and the weather was perfect! The chilaquiles with salsa verde and over easy eggs from the omelet station were yummy and definitely the highlight. The mimosas were a nice addition, I wasn't sure if they were still included. The prime rib, shrimp, and French toast were great. But the Eggs Benedict were tough to cut, the salmon was dry, and dessert was basically gone an hour before closing. They eventually brought out brownies and bread pudding after another guest complained, but... really? I guess you can say I expected more consistency and better execution. I'm not a buffet girl to begin with, so this didn't make my return list. I might come back to try the regular menu though.

Catering manager Vanessa (L) and assistant Nicole (R) in their own Pittsburg High Pirate gear the day of our event!

A huge shout of gratitude and hurrahs to the wonderful catering manager Vanessa and her equally wonderful assistant Nicole! Our Pittsburg Senior High Class of '65 (105 people) had our 60th reunion there a week ago in a beautiful banquet room overlooking the lush green golf course through floor to ceiling windows, and it was a smash success from start to finish. Vanessa and Nicole accommodated every one of our needs and special requests, and did it with a smile and graciousness we will never forget. Turns out both of them were also Pittsburg High graduates, and even before I asked them they had decided to wear their own black and orange Pirate gear on the day of our event -- how cool was that! As emcee I brought them into the big room to introduce them to the crowd and give them some props, and they got a nice ovation and show of love from everyone. The lunch buffet was terrific, many said the food could not have been better. We opted for an in-room bartender so nobody had to leave the room to get a drink, a very nice touch. Total cost per person for everything was $50, a real deal. A special shout of gratitude for the Food and Beverage Director Abdon who gave his approval for everything special we asked for!

I absolutely love this place! The restaurant at The Golf Club at Lone Tree is truly a hidden gem right here in Antioch. From the moment you walk in, you feel at home. The service is outstanding -- Brian and the entire team are so welcoming and attentive. They really go above and beyond to make sure you have a great experience. The food is amazing! The quality you get for the price feels like you're dining at a fancy restaurant. And the view overlooking the hills and mountains makes the ambiance so beautiful and relaxing. It's peaceful, scenic, and just has such a warm atmosphere. Great food, great people, and a gorgeous setting -- I can't recommend this place enough. So grateful to the owners and staff for creating such a wonderful experience. Thank you for making this Antioch

Big Shout out to Abdon and his team at the Lone Tree Golf Brunch, they all are very friendly, organized, hard working people; first time here and definitely new favorite place for brunch ‍ We made reservations for 8 people , however 10 people showed up instead, we told Abdon and right away him and his team prepare us a table, so we can all fit. Everything was so good, organized, clean, I usually don't go to eat at buffets; I was a bit concerned, if I was going to like it, however they have a huge selection of food. Our waiters kept on cleaning and making sure we were good on drinks. They have live music playing while you eat there. They have an omelette station, waffle station, prime rib, sea food (oysters, shrimp, salmon), enchiladas, chiles rellenos, scrambled eggs, sausage, bacon, eggs Benedict, fresh fruit, chocolate covered strawberries, eclairs, crème brûlée , cookies, mashed potatoes, salads, bread, juice, coffee , milk, & 2 mimosas per person. The restaurant has breath taking views of the gulf coarse, and the mountains. There's parking right outside. The price is around $50 per person. Best to make reservations for big parties, by the way it's very spacious, it has indoor and outdoor seating. They are known for their Easter, Mother's & Father's Day brunch, but definitely come check them out, don't wait for a special occasion, is worth it !!! Thanks Abdon for the hospitality ‍

My plans changed today so I called this am to see if I could go to the Sunday Brunch. They were able to accommodate and we had a window seat looking out at the greens. We had mimosas and a lovely brunch of smoked salmon, salad, fruit, all the usual breakfast items, prime rib and made to order omelettes. The dessert bar had creme brûlée, chocolate covered strawberries, chocolate 3 layer cake and other munchies. I was impressed with all the food they had and it wasn't any too expensive. So glad we went there today.

Looking for a fabulous venue in Contra Costa County? Look into this location The view from the Event center is relaxing and the staff is magnificent. As I was a guest only, I can't speak on the pricing, packaging or catering. However, as a guest, the Celebration was a huge success in part due to the Lone Tree Event Center - Lighting, Dinner, Table Setting, Service and additional decor. Dinner included Chicken Marsala, Beef Burgundy, Sauteed Vegetables, Garlic Mashed Potatoes, Caesar, Caprese and Baby Bleu Salad. I tried a little bit of everything except for the Baby Bleu. I was pleased with everything. They also had a dessert table with Macarons, Cupcakes and cookies. I tried only one, the Macaron, and it was delicious. I'm not sure if they make these on site or contract out, but they were a hit. Here's What I Think... If you're in the area and need an elegant presentation, consider this place. My sister is already considering a birthday celebration here.

They did a really great job. A huge variety of food very well prepared. Never ran out. Service staff was great. Prime rib, turkey, ham, shrimp, oysters, clams, stuffing, mashed potatoes, mini salads, and tons of dessert. Reasonable price. We will be back. A special thanks to Ariana for helping us secure our reservations

Ask the Community - Lone Tree Golf & Event Center

Name of the Restaurant at Antioch Lone Tree Golf Course?

    Champions Bar & Grill

What beverages are included in the Sunday buffet price?

Sodas, tea, coffee, juice and I believe a couple mimosas per person.

Do you offer club rentals? Especially a driver for the range?

A full set of rental clubs are available for a fee. If you want one club while at the driving range, the Pro Shop will hold your driver's license and/or credit card.

How much is the driving range? Is it per-person or can we just pay for a bucket?

You purchase range balls by the bucket. Our current pricing is: Small bucket (~35 balls)-$6.00. Medium bucket (~70 balls)-$10.00. Large bucket (~105 balls)-$12.00.

Thinking of making a reservation for Sunday brunch , but wanted to know about childrens prices, specifically 1 year olds do you have to pay childrens price for them?

Children ages 3 and under are free. The children's price of $16.95 are for kids ages 4-12. We hope to see you soon!

How many hours are included when booking a wedding reception package?

Wedding receptions include five (5) hours.

Does anyone have any current updates of course conditions? Pictures maybe?

I'm going today so I'll post. I was there on the 24th July 2018 and there were some damaged spots on the course but I thought is was just this heat. Very dry course right now. I'll post how the lunch is later today.

After being publicly accused and treated disrespectfully, my family no longer even wanted to continue playing golf. You can get a better rate if you do a bigger package. Who is Patrick best for? In my opinion, Patrick will give the best bang for buck for someone who already has a gameable swing (scoring in the 80s to 100s), has decent body awareness, and is looking for an instructor who will notice the small details that are costing a player 5-10 strokes a round. Read the reviews already here and most of them are from people who have already been playing for some time. After a single lesson, I can already tell Patrick's attention to detail is superb. The day after my lesson (I generally have wavered between a high single digit and low double digit index), I shot +3 through 11 from the back tees. Getting to a 5 index this year seems realistic now. If you're completely new to golf, you can find cheaper instructors who will give you a basic understanding of the swing. They will generally all tell you the same thing, and it will likely take you some time to get your body used to the golf swing. Once you feel like you can make contact on 8/10 balls at the range on a consistent basis, or are scoring in about the 110s, then come in to Patrick to really mold your swing. For the love of God though, do not try to coach yourself through YouTube.

I've had awkward lessons in the past from other coaches who it was just a bad pairing. But my work with Patrick has been encouraging, helpful, clear and understandable, and repeatable. For a full understanding, I've been playing off and on for 30 years. Been as low as an 11 index, but had laid off the game entirely for about 10 years. Getting back into the game in my early 60's means I have rust and physical limitations I didn't used to have. Patrick has been great at identifying the fundamental gaps I'd been playing with for, well, decades. Then showing me what needs to be changed, and providing repeatable exercises that I can put into practice to slowly build new habits. Another thing - like a lot of us, my head can be full of all sorts of swing thoughts and YouTube advice LOL Patrick has been great at encouraging me to clear the mind of all the confusing, contradictory swirl in my head and swing free. And to play golf, not play golf swing. Bottom line - yes, I've gained distance, consistency. I sort of figured any coach will be able to have positive results if I'm willing to incorporate what they teach. But what has been great is getting clear bite-sized chunks that is making the game more simple and enjoyable. My recommendation is consider Patrick as a good option as you begin to choose who you want to improve your game with.
