They came inside saw that entryway table had a few bills picked them up asked me which currency it is. 2. One of the kitchen packers opens lid of my spice box (I had leaves and chillies puts his nose in sniffs and asks what is it? 3. Packed every little thing in white wrapper so unpacking was hell. Single stainless steel spoon wrapped in 4 layers of packing . 4. Who does this .packing open can of bleach with groceries. While unpacking I saw white dust thought its paint once I hit end of box it was bleach so ended up throwing everything from that box. Which professional mover does that 5. Random packing. I had very organized closet but they picked random items and packed in diff boxes so i had box with sweaters pillow covers photo frames and belts all from diff parts of closet. LASTLY we were given pricing we paid that by bill and paid $800 extra over that without receipt as they demanded that they packed box. When vector gave me a quote it included 10 medium boxes $20 per box but the guys packed everything with white wrapper in kitten not one but 4 sheets and increased boxes packed to 30 , unethically charging us for small boxes stuffed with white paper. There are two places where there were shreds of wood on the corner. I was unpacking boxes that were supposed to be books they packed, and I got about halfway through one box and discovered that they threw two glass shadowbox frames in with the books. One of them was shattered. Thankfully it was the one I hadn't yet filled with photos. The other one would have been disastrous since it had photos of my dad who recently passed away. Even novice movers know you don't put glass frames at the bottom of a box of books!!!! I'm seriously afraid to see what else got damaged in the numerous boxes I have yet to unpack. It's pathetic.

I chose them because they said they donated furniture. Any of the non profits I checked into only take furniture if it's on the ground level because they use volunteers. I described the furniture in detail over the phone and the gentleman said they go by the truckload and it would be half a truckload for $489.00 so I booked the service. The next day I called their office to ask if this included tax & labor. The woman that I spoke with told me they would give me an exact price the day of the removal and I explained to her that I was having carpet installed the following day therefore that would be too late. She said they would get back to me & no one ever did. I took the chance because I did not have enough time to schedule another company. The day they came to remove the furniture, the young man gave me the price. It was almost double the verbal quote. $952.00 to be exact. There were only two young men handling this removal so it took longer than anticipated. I am not an experienced mover but I would have removed the drawers from the dresser & chest before I carried them down two flight of stairs. My walls have two dings in them & also a piece of woodwork on my staircase is now loose. Bottom line, it cost me almost a grand to donate. They remained untouched until the final move out, when the damage was revealed. Despite explaining that the TVs were inaccessible and untouched in storage, they refused to take any responsibility. I removed one star because I felt the move was pricey. The standard has been 3 hour minimum. I had a four hour minimum plus the one hour standard travel time. I gave a very detailed list and based on the list is how I received the estimate. In my opinion, I felt that they knew it would be completed in less time and this is how they made their money. The company seemed professional, had us sign everything online, claimed to be insured, and arrived on time. But after pickup, our belongings never arrived. They were 5 days late and kept giving different stories. We later discovered, on our own, that their truck had flipped over in Virginia, hit another car, and someone tragically died. They never told us the truth. They avoided calls, never took accountability, and offered no help in recovering even a single item. My parents lost everything, family photos, furniture, memories, gone forever. At their age, this has been traumatizing and life-changing. We had to start completely over from zero. The owner is David, and the representative who came to our home was Tuffick. They presented themselves as trustworthy, but when tragedy struck, they disappeared.
