    Peach Green Tea
    Danny L.

EVERYTHING WAS PEACHYYYY! Stopped in and decided to try something other than milk tea. Went with the Peach Green Tea and was not disappointed! It was refreshing and delicious on this hot day. Ordered only 50% sweetness but it still came out a little too sweet for my taste. But overall still a good drink. Would definitely try this drink again in the future. The service was quick and everyone was very friendly. The store is clean and also offers free Wi-Fi and would be a good spot to study.

almost $8 for a size "medium" drink. Tasted good but not worth the price.

Service was good. I ordered crème brûlée brown sugar "medium"drink for almost $8. Tasted good but not worth the price. There are other places that taste better and you get more drink and pay less!

My wife loves the earl grey milk tea with grass jelly. She said it's good and keeps her awake. Only thing I like so far here is the strawberry yogurt slush. 70% sugar. Place is clean. The strip is a lot of parking space Service is good for the most part. I feel the staff isn't as happy here because no one ever smiles when I stop by. :(

I ordered the dirty brown sugar tea. Honestly, it was just ok. Not very sweet which is probably better for me. But the flavor was so mild. Tasted mostly milky. My husband had the lemon winter melon basil seed. It was really good. Service was very fast. Prices were higher than I normally pay. I think I am going to stick with my other boba place.

Been waiting for some time for time for this place to open. Glad to see it's finally happened. We got the strawberry milk tea and passion fruit green tea with added boba. They were very generous with the boba. Also asked for less ice and they were very accommodating. Both were very tasty. We'll definitely be back to continue to try more.

Gong Cha is one of my favorite places to get boba, and I am so excited that this place opened near me! Since this place has opened, I have been here multiple times. The drinks are always super fast. My favorite drink to get is the Creme Brûlée Strawberry Latte. It tastes like strawberry milk with delicious chunks of strawberry, and the slightly salty foam brings the drink to a whole other level. This place definitely has the best drinks in Pearland.

You cannot go wrong with Gong Cha. The best boba in the area. Great drinks with average prices. (Pearl Milk Tea is around $5). The staff and service is great. Perfect spot to visit with a friend or sit and study as they have tables and chairs.

Peach green tea with lychee jelly and boba!

I stopped by on their grand opening and it was super busy, the line was out the door! I thought the staff did a great job having to accommodate that kind of volume on their first weekend. The drinks were awesome and definitely worth the wait in that long line. Came back again today for a peach green tea with lychee jelly and boba and it is sooo good. Great experience overall on both occasions I have been here and will definitely be back again. Highly recommend - clean, friendly staff, and delicious drinks!

Drink wise, I'd give this place 4 stars, but I rounded up to 5 for the service and ambiance. I really liked the Vietnamese coffee w/ sea salt foam, but all of their matcha drinks could use more matcha for flavor and less sugar overall. The mango matcha latte was 1 step away from being too sweet to even drink. Tapioca quality though was great, perfect chewy texture. I'm definitely interested in coming back to try their milk teas, fruit teas, and even some of their snack food as well. I'll definitely be back again when I'm on this side of Pearland, cheers!

I also planned to order things I either had never tried before or that I rarely eat. Every single course gave me everything I needed. First course: chawanmushi. A deliciously savory egg custard dish with shrimp, chicken and mushrooms. From looking at it you're not sure if your going to like it but WOW! The custard itself was perfectly cooked and seasoned, the shrimp and chicken made it more than just an egg custard and the mushroom...idk what kind of mushroom it was but it kinda tasted like a flavorful meatball and was SO delicious. SECOND COURSE: Tuna tartare - an award winning chef must craft these dishes because the flavor profiles of the food and way they put different ingredients together that you wouldn't expect is nothing short of culinary wizardry. The tuna with the mango with the cucumber and onions and everything was incredible fresh. Impeccable. Third course: Beef curry. Absolutely amazing! The beef was super tender, the curry had a light hint of Coconut, everything was seasoned to perfection and there wasn't a single grain of jasmine rice that was undercooked. The carrots in the curry were perfectly cooked. Dessert: mango sticky rice. The rice perfectly cooked. The mango was perfectly sliced and super fresh and the sauce, I'm guessing it wasa condensed milk and sugar mixture. It was delicious and comforting. Basically a delicious mango rice pudding after pouring the sauce on it. Artistry: The food was all plated and presented to me beautifully. It was nothing less than edible art and they clearly put care and heart into not just the taste but the look of the food. Parking is plentiful, service is top tier and the ambience is lovely, well decorated and clean. I'll definitely be back. They also had plenty of variety for every diet. Even keto which can be difficult with Asian restaurants due to all the rice.

Bot chien was a pleasant surprise! I like the way they did it, and it kept me well full. Very generous with egg. Pho broth wasn't crazily oily, which is great. Perfect seasoning and sodium level. I would eat the pho here again. Banh xeo was HUGE. It was delicious and the greens they provided with were abundant. Service was great and attentive. The server was very respectful and made sure to do the accommodations I requested (no cilantro). Now for the cons. The pork bun was too dry. Bun Bo hue was actually so incorrect. The seasoning and broth were not right. No hints of lemongrass anywhere. It's like they created their own recipe and called it bun bo hue. The good thing about this restaurant is that there's something for everyone in terms of Asian cuisine. I'm glad I got to try samples of everyone's dish to get a feel of how they run things in the kitchen. Some things need serious improvement while others were excellent; and that's okay. 4/5. Will return, but also not a priority to.

Now the gritty; the popcorn chicken is honestly a mixed bag. While it is fairly juicy and pairs well with the thai chili sauce, it in itself is rather bland and honestly disappointing. The spicy powder on top adds a teeeeeeeny kick but doesnt do much when its just flavorless chicken. The teas are actually really good though. Half sweet is a good enough sweetness for me and the toppings work really well with each. I'll stick to the drinks next time.

We can literally sit there for hours talking while our youngest plays in the play area. The lattes are really good, and my daughter loves the hot chocolate. The pastries and treats are a little hit or miss. The almond croissant is definitely the winner and probably my favorite thing we've tried. My middle daughter really likes the brownie. She did say she thinks there may be cinnamon or something else added to the chocolate muffin because there was a flavor in it that threw her off a little. The pecan cinnamon roll was pretty good. The blueberry scone, though, tasted like it had maybe been frozen too long? I'm not completely sure, but there was just something about the taste and texture that was a little off. The savory items are good, but I do think they need to work on reheating them. The chorizo empanada had really good flavor, but the outside dough was still soggy because it wasn't heated long enough. It needed more time to crisp up. The same thing happened with the ham and cheese croissant. The bottom was very soggy, and it was only slightly warm throughout. One thing I really hope First Cup considers adding is nutritional information for their menu items. On our last visit, my 15 year old son came with us and wanted to try some things. He has Type 1 Diabetes, and having nutritional information, especially carbohydrate counts, is extremely important because we have to calculate his insulin based on what he eats. The staff did not have this information available or know where to find it. I know nutritional information is not required for every business, but for families like ours, it's not just a preference. Managing Type 1 Diabetes means constantly making calculations to keep my son safe. Without accurate information, we are left guessing, and guessing with insulin can mean his blood sugar goes too high or too low. As a mom, it's hard enough managing all of the daily decisions that come with T1D. My son should be able to go out with his family, try new foods, and enjoy a normal experience without us having to wonder if we are making the right choice for his health. Having this information available would make a huge difference, not only for people with diabetes but also for customers with allergies or other dietary needs. Even with these concerns, we really do love the feel of First Cup. It's a welcoming place with a great atmosphere, and we will continue coming back. I just hope they consider improving the reheating process and adding nutritional information because those changes would make an already great place even better.
