Wonderful little place! Very clean, food was yummy (forgot to take pics of that). They DO have a tofu banh mi option which didn't show on their menu. They have a few cute baked dessert items as well. The sugar cookies were so cute and delicious! The employees were very nice as well!

I wish I had better things to say about this place cause I love tea houses and this is super close to me but it was just ok. I called to order ahead and asked for a Taro milk tea with boba, a meatball banh mi and a grilled meat banh mi. When on the phone, the person I talked to told me it was going to be 30 minutes! For super easy to make sandwiches! I was really craving this so I said it was fine. She repeated the order to me but she said pork belly (which sounds nothing like what I ordered) instead of grilled meat (she got the meatball right) so I corrected her, she asked if I wanted anything else and I said that that was all, so then she just hangs up. I called again to make sure my order was actually put in and she (this time it was a different lady) confirmed the order and said the total amount. I decided to get there before the 30 minutes in case they made it faster, it wasn't busy, just one couple there, it's cute and clean. Thankfully my order was ready as soon as I got there. She AGAIN repeated the order, I said yes sounds good, I paid and drove home. Got home and NO MEATBALL SANDWICH (I was craving this one the most)! They gave me, I'm guessing is their chicken banh mi? I'm saying I'm guessing cause it was maybe ground chicken? In their picture of the chicken banh mi it looks like shredded chicken but this had a weird taste and texture that reminded me of meatless/tofu crumbles, and I DO NOT like the taste or texture of tofu (sorry tofu lovers but it grosses me out. Btw, they don't have tofu on their menu). The sandwich was stuffed with the "meat" and veggies which would've been nice if it was the right one. I didn't even eat half of it, couldn't. The grilled meat banh mi tasted as expected but they added a lot less ingredients than the other sandwich and it actually costs a little more. The tea was ok, wish it was a tad sweeter. $6 for a very mild tasting drink. The boba was really nice and soft. Might give em another try, most likely for drinks only.

What…read morestood out right away was how balanced the drinks are--not overly sweet like some other places, but still full of rich, creative flavors. Every drink was thoughtfully made and looked just as good as it tasted. The presentation is beautiful, making it one of those places where you almost don't want to drink it because it's so pretty. We tried several drinks, and each one was unique. Our absolute favorites were Purple Rain--light, refreshing, and paired perfectly with lychee jelly--and Taro Ocean, which put a fun twist on the traditional taro drink by adding graham crackers at the bottom. That little addition was such a surprise and honestly made the drink unforgettable. You can tell the menu is crafted with creativity, and it makes you want to come back to try everything. All the drinks are customizable. Service was quick, and overall ordering was very easy. Overall, Happie Boba Shop nails it across the board: delicious and inventive drinks, a clean and comfortable environment, and easy access. I'll definitely be coming back, and I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a fun, refreshing, and satisfying boba experience.

It's still some of the best Vietnamese coffee in town, and still some of the best service. Great prices and great people, and a true credit to Pasadena and the global community. Over here in Southeast Houston, a part of the city that really needs good boba, and they really do have one of the best Vietnamese coffees in all of Texas in my opinion - and I've tried most of them. WHAT One of my fave places for drinks in Texas. And outside of Alief/Chinatown, this is the greatest Viet Coffee you'll ever taste in the state. If you're anywhere near Hobby airport, this is the only choice to make. What to get: Cafe Sua Da, Darling What to get for a Russian girl: Da, Darling This is one of the best chains that there is for Vietnamese coffee, although when I say chain, there's only 2 locations I know of, and this is the original. The other - on Belt 8 nearby - is just as good. There is no Vietnamese Coffee in Greater Houston that is better than this one, and it tastes absolutely divine. I love coming down here for this reason, and they're always very friendly. They know my order just like I know the order of the Bond movies cough Dr No is first cough. It's not too expensive, and the tapioca is usually good. The coffee is - as I say - second to none. I'm so glad they have a second location now, out by the belt, and I absolutely adore every sip of their Cafe Sua Da. I compare them to the ones over in Bellaire (Chinatown and Alief aka Viet-town), and these are some of the best you will ever taste. I might even like them better than the masses of stellar options along Bellaire, in fact. Now go ahead, put some respect on their Nam.
