Remton is only like 2 minutes from my home and I've only heard wonderful things about it. I've been long overdue to check it out so I stopped by for dinner yesterday evening and ordered from their HRW menu. I also planned to order things I either have never tried before or that I rarely eat. Every single course gave me everything I needed. First course: chawanmushi. A deliciously savory egg custard dish with shrimp, chicken and mushrooms. From looking at it you're not sure if your going to like it but WOW! The custard itself was perfectly cooked and seasoned, the shrimp and chicken made it more than just an egg custard and the mushroom...idk what kind of mushroom it was but it kinda tasted like a flavorful meatball and was SO delicious. SECOND COURSE: Tuna tartare - an award winning chef must craft these dishes because the flavor profiles of the food and way they put different ingredients together that you wouldn't expect is nothing short of culinary wizardry. The tuna with the mango with the cucumber and onions and everything was incredible fresh. Impeccable. Third course: Beef curry. Absolutely amazing! The beef was super tender, the curry had a light hint of Coconut, everything was seasoned to perfection and there wasn't a single grain of jasmine rice that was undercooked. The carrots in the curry were perfectly cooked. Dessert: mango sticky rice. The rice perfectly cooked. The mango was perfectly sliced and super fresh and the sauce, I'm guessing it wasa condensed milk and sugar mixture. It was delicious and comforting. Basically a delicious mango rice pudding after pouring the sauce on it Parking is plentiful, service is too tier and the ambience is lovely, well decorated and clean. I'll definitely be back. They also had plenty of variety for every diet. Even keto which can be difficult with Asian restaurants due to all the rice. read more

Came on a Sunday evening with a party of 7 and was immediately seated. Inside was quite modern and clean like those typical fake greenery walls and neon lights with sayings on them. Bot chien was a pleasant surprise! I like the way they did it, and it kept me well full. Very generous with egg. Pho broth wasn't crazily oily, which is great. Perfect seasoning and sodium level. I would eat the pho here again. Banh xeo was HUGE. It was delicious and the greens they provided with were abundant. Service was great and attentive. The server was very respectful and made sure to do the accommodations I requested (no cilantro). Now for the cons. The pork bun was too dry. Bun Bo hue was actually so incorrect. The seasoning and broth were not right. No hints of lemongrass anywhere. It's like they created their own recipe and called it bun bo hue. The good thing about this restaurant is that there's something for everyone in terms of Asian cuisine. I'm glad I got to try samples of everyone's dish to get a feel of how they run things in the kitchen. Some things need serious improvement while others were excellent; and that's okay. 4/5. The ambience is great. The service was so so. I was very disappointed with the chicken spring rolls. The meat was as hard as a rock. Also became on Tuesday, which is supposed to be a dollar oyster day. I called earlier in the day to find out if it was all day yet and he said yes. But he didn't tell us why was that you have to buy a cocktail to get the dollar oysters! My husband and I split the shaken snapper. It was good. We ordered a Vietnamese coffee and it came in the 16 ounce cup, but only half the cup was filled. $7.50! I expected it to come in a glass with ice. read more

Tried Remton in Pearland today after seeing so many recommendations, and it did not disappoint! The drinks were --it's no surprise they won 2025 Best Drink from The Pearland Chamber of Commerce Taste of Pearland. We ordered the Remton Sampler and the Char-Siu Buns, but honestly, we were mostly there for the drinks. Great service, very clean, and such a beautiful atmosphere. Oh, and ladies... the restrooms were spotless, which always deserves a mention! We also had the chance to meet the owner, and she was incredibly sweet. Definitely worth a visit! read more

Came with my friend and fellow Yelper for the first time on a Sunday, after looking at some high Google reviews. Loved that they still had there Christmas decor up, made if very festive. Parking- easy shared lot with other businesses. We came at opening time 11am. And folks were waiting to walk in behind us as we did. The menu was extensive with Vietnamese dishes. Its cool they have both ramen & pho. Nice cocktail menu & cutesy looking bar. Service- was great 5 stars on that. Our server Amy was attentive and smiley, and gave recommendations and answered questions. We appreciated that. Food- we started with the egg rolls, and that was fantastic, so crispy flavorful and great sauce. Would recommend & order again. For the main course, were torn between the pho & ramen. After talking with Amy we decided on the Tonkotsu Black Ramen. We had our choice between fat & skinny noodles. I went with skinny noodles. My friend went with fat noodles. For me the flavor was fine, but not depthful. And my noodles were overdone and did not have the chew that I like. But this could have been a one-off thing. Went for Houston Restaurant Week lunch around 2PM on a Saturday. The restaurant wasn't crowded and we were seated right away. The decorations are cute but it's an overall casual place. I opted for the $25 HRW menu and got the crispy egg rolls, the black tonkotsu ramen (for an extra $2), and the creme brûlée. My dad got the Nem Nuong Platter. The egg rolls were tasty, very crispy with a good amount of pork. The ramen was flavorful, with lots of noodles. The broth is a little bland at first, but the highlight of the ramen is a thick, well-roasted, plentiful piece of chashu that really makes the ramen well-rounded. The Nem Nuong platter was also a highlight, a sort of deconstructed version where you make your own. Very fresh ingredients with lettuce, mango, cucumbers, crispy rice roll, and a well done sausage, with a nice light sauce that pairs well. The creme brûlée was small but tasty, the top bruleed to a perfect crunch with a nice smooth creme underneath and a strawberry cut in the shape of a heart. Overall, very impressed! Even my dad, who is very critical of Vietnamese food, agreed. Will definitely need to come back and try their other options! read more

First review of 2026 goes to this wonderful place. I've had them on my radar for a while ever since their first location in the Clear Lake area. They opened this location not too long ago and finally got the chance to check it out. It is located in a shopping strip on the border of Pearland and Friendswood. Parking is plentiful. We arrived at opening time on a Sunday and were immediately seated. We were immediately impressed on how beautiful it is inside. It was very clean and they still had their Christmas decorations up. Amy was our server and she was outstanding from start to finish. She was very helpful and gave great suggestions. Remton is known as a Vietnamese restaurant, but their menu has items from different regions of Asia as well. They have a full stocked bar and their cocktail menu was pretty impressive. I was tempted but decided on a Thai Tea to drink. They offered boba with the drink and I said why not. It was a really well made drink. It's not a boba shop but I'd come back just for that. For an appetizer, we shared the Crispy Egg Rolls. They might have some of the better egg rolls I've had in a while. They were nice and crispy, and filled with a delicious ground pork filling. I'm not sharing next time. For my entree, I ended up with the Spicy Tonkotsu Black Ramen. I've had more visually appealing ramen elsewhere, but taste wise, this was really good. I do wish it were a little more spicy if they're going to label it spicy. The pork chasu was super tender and flavorful and they gave a generous portion as well. The seasoned egg was perfect and the noodles were just right. Overall, Remton gave me a very good meal to start the new year off right. June 2026, we had a table of 6 (4adult/2kids) and had 3 other tables sitting (not busy), it took roughly 15 to 20 minutes to get drinks delivered. Food came out about 20-25 minutes after ordering. When I got to the check, we split the check, family of 4(2A/2K) and 2 adults. Check looked good with splitting. I get a paper receipt because I felt it was high. They add 20% gratuity to both checks at the table. There was no mention of this as she handed me the device to pay. It wasn't till after I got a paper receipt did I see they added 20%. Sorry but serving water to all customers is not a valid reason to add 20% gratuity to the check. I still tipped an additional 12%. For a slow service on a slow night, drinks were slow getting out, over slow. Food I enjoyed. Reminded me of my time in the Navy stationed in Hawaii. Be aware of the 20% tip added automatically. read more

I finally tried this place after hearing great about it. I ordered the Japanese Beef Curry Meal tonight before going to the gym later. It was made well, meaty, soupy, savory and very delicious. It's definitely different than Indian and Thai curries, but a great dish if u are a curry lover like myself. The chunks of beef were all tender, hearty in taste, fatty just enough and had some bite to them. They were soft, but not mushy either. The mushrooms n carrots were well-cooked. My server Levi was very attentive, friendly, knowledgeable and efficient. He did everything so professionally and told me of some other great menu items for next time. I went for dinner during their grand opening. I've been reading great reviews on their Pearland location so I decided to try it. Their menu selection was huge and listed which ones were only available at one location (Webster or Pearland). I ordered their mango shrimp (so yummy and it was interesting that the dish had strawberry popping boba with it), Bo luc lac / shaking beef was okay, and lychee lemon drop (so good!). I ate at the bar and Long was the bartender who served me. He was friendly and suggested the drink. I have another drink to try when I go back. I also met the owner. She was friendly and we got to chatting. The decor is beautiful. So is the menu. It looks so fancy and upscale. Even the napkin is fancy. The flowers on the ceiling are beautiful. I will definitely go back here to try their other menu items despite it being on the east side while I'm on the west. I already asked if she can open one on the west side eventually. She says that she found the bun bo hue just okay, while I thought the tonkatsu black garlic ramen was really quite good (unexpected for a Vietnamese place rather than Japanese). The location has been extensively and beautifully renovated since its prior incarnation (as a more typical Vietnamese restaurant, which we had also enjoyed), including the addition of a full bar. Service was good, and the food arrived quickly. Overall we were pretty pleased with the experience and look forward to our next visit. Enjoyed this Pearland entry in to Houston Restaurant Weeks for lunch. Grabbed the HRW menu which was packed with options sure to satisfy everyone. Opted for the blue crab wontons which were immensely flavorful though the interior color is less appetizing in a tannish gray. Move past that and you will enjoy every bite. For a second course I opted for a well executed vermicelli and topped it off with a creme brûlée. This is a keeper. read more

My friend and I met here for dinner last week and the ambiance is so pretty! It's not a huge restaurant but had decent seating. It's a good restaurant for families, a date, or just friends. I asked our waiter, Levi, what he would recommend as far as pho or ramen goes (it was cold out so I wanted something soupy) and he said his favorite is the Tonkotsu Black Ramen, so I went with the spicy version of that. I really enjoyed it! It wasn't spicy but gave it a tiny kick. Levi was a great, personable waiter and asked if we had any questions and was available when we needed him. My friend ordered the Vietnamese chicken curry and enjoyed it. For an appetizer, we ordered the spicy wontons but it lacked flavor and needed more broth/sauce. I don't recommend it. Made it to the soft opening for the new Remton location in Pearland/ Friendswood. The restaurants design and aesthetic is very cute and the food was delicious as always (my family has frequented the Webster location for many years even before it was renamed to Remton). We had the beef rib phó , special phó , pork spring rolls and a dozen oysters . Our server was prompt, patient and polite. The food took a wee bit longer than normal which is to be expected from a first day soft opening. We didn't mind. No complaints as everything was great! I will commit great acts of chaos and destruction if Remton ever leaves or closes down. (Verbal chaos and destruction, of course.) We enter and the staff is friendly and courteous. Our server... Long, I believe his name was? Long was knowledgeable, patient, and very interactive! He suggested multiple things and even used his charisma to charm me into buying an Old Fashion... and dear lord was it a unique, cinnamon-y twist on one of my favorite drinks of all time! Their drinks and cocktails were amazing!!! Unique blends of subtlety, and yet, so full of flavor with a nice hit for those who like a buzz! The food-- the entire reason you to-- was amazing! It all tasted fresh and delightful. A lot of love was put into the fusion of recipes. Also the owner is adorable and clearly a powerful woman in terms culinary proficiency. The food is aggressively mediocre--not bad enough to be memorable, not good enough to justify the money, just a sad parade of bland flavors that taste like they were seasoned by someone afraid of salt. Every dish feels rushed, like the kitchen's goal is speed, not taste. The service? Confused at best, indifferent at worst. You get the vibe that everyone working there would rather be literally anywhere else, and they're mildly offended that you showed up expecting... service. Orders come out wrong, late, or both, and no one seems particularly surprised by that. Ambience-wise, Remron has all the charm of a waiting room. Nothing is technically awful, but nothing feels intentional either. It's loud when it shouldn't be, dead when it shouldn't be, and somehow manages to feel cheap and overpriced at the same time. Overall, Remton is the kind of place you go once, complain about on the drive home, and then actively warn friends to avoid. It's not a hidden gem--it's a warning label. read more

Wish I could give this place a better rating but unfortunately our experience fell short. This occurred a while ago but my family of 4 plus an infant came on a Tuesday night, around 7pm, excited to try their food. We were wanting to sit at the booth, but was told that the baby was not allowed to sit there, and redirected us to another table. This table had very little space to accommodate 4 adults and 1 infant in a car seat. They gave us a menu and did not check up on us for around 15 minutes. Keep in mind, the place wasn't even full. I've been wanting to try this place ever since I've heard of it and the restaurant itself is very pretty. We went midday on a Sunday and it was just us, which we were glad because we were in rush. There was only one server and one hostess. We ordered right away and food slightly took awhile and our appetizers came out the same time as our entree. We got the spicy wontons, pork xiao long baos, and combination fried rice. I was a bit surprised that the combination fried rice didn't come with beef but it was still good! Lacked some flavor but it was good after adding some soy sauce. The spicy wontons and baos were tasty! A bit pricey for how only four but regardless, they were good! Our server was also the bartender and it seemed that his friends came in and they were more focused on tending to them than us, we had to keep calling the hostess over for drink refills, the check, and to-go boxes.
