Popped into this location during a hot afternoon in Georgetown. When I walked in all of the seats were taken. It was pretty hot inside and garbage on the counter and a full counter. Unfortunately no one said help as I came in because they were on their laptops. I went straight over to the kiosk where I decided to order a (L) lychee green tea. When I went to check out it was $10. I was definitely not expecting to spend that much but because it was so hot I thought today was the day to splurge. I will say that my drink was made pretty quickly but when I went in for the first sip the drink wasn't all the way mixed so all I tasted was green tea and it was kind of warm. Overall I'm not sure that I'll be coming back due to the prices and the lack of customer service. Other than here this chain is typically really good. read more

This Gong Cha was neat as it is underground in Georgetown! The first drink we ordered was the Peach Lychee Fruit Drink. It had a very light taste but was a little too sweet for me. The second drink was the Hong Kong style Mango Green Tea. It was a very unique drink with mango jelly in it (real jelly!). I had the Peach Oolong Tea with peach jelly. This drink was good and standard for one of these drinks. The service was ok. We had to order on a kiosk instead of at the counter. The atmosphere was also super nice! Small café but neat ambiance. I am a Gong Cha fan, but my experience here for my friends and I were less than ideal. I should've known from the filled trash bag next to the ordering kiosk that it was going to be foreshadowing my experience. I got a Lychee smoothie but I am not sure if that was blended correctly... the texture was half blended and the taste was bland. They also didn't put the topping I had purchased for it. you can't beat a Gong Cha boba tea. It's self service to order but everything is customizable. This location also sells the bubble donuts that come on top of your lid and those are a delight as well. I come here often to try out the seasonal flavors. The inside also has AC and a lot of cute photo spots, so it's a nice place to cool down in the summer. read more

I was able to adjust the sweetness level to 70%, but the ice level was fixed. It tasted fresh and the fizziness was perfect to cool off on a warm day! Came here to try the bubble waffle ice cream, which I have always wanted to try. First experience definitely made me a fan. We got the matcha waffle with ice cream, chocolate sauce, and powdered sugar. There wasn't much of the powdered sugar on it, but that wasn't an issue. I have the Gong Cha app and got a notification that this new one was opening. I decided to take advantage of a buy 2 get 1 free special for the soft opening. I ordered ahead for pick up 15 minutes after opening time. When I arrived I immediately liked the décor. For the outside I expected it to be pretty dark and or drab but it wasn't. I asked to pick up my order and they went to the refrigerator to retrieve it which I also liked as other places may just leave your cold beverage on a shelf or counter. All in all I not only enjoyed my order but how effective the process was.
