I chose the Burrito California, and it was superb. The 2 house salsas that come with the meal (not the chips and salsa) were excellent and actually spicy. Few Tex-Mex locations serve anything spicy in the ArLaMiss since most people dislike spicy. I raise Carolina Reapers for fun. Their side sauce wasn't spicy like reaper but it was spicier than Tabasco sauce. The quality of food and the wide variety offered both are above average. As for the chips and salsa - the chips are thin and crisp. And they were fresh. Above average. The salsa was average but again people have varying ideas on salsas. I prefer thick, chunky salsa with plenty of garlic and cilantro (plus serrano chiles). Others don't like it that way. So I never judge a restaurant on their chips and salsa unless it is truly bad or superb and even then I place the entrees higher up the priority list. I'd definitely eat there again.
