From the moment you get there, you will be blown away -- really! Read below for some of my favorite things about the spot. The drinks - It's all the margaritas! You can't go wrong with any of them. But, because I try to reduce the amount of sugar I consume, I usually order the skinny margarita . I sometimes get a the traditional frozen Margarita swirled with sangria--that one is pretty good too! I'm not sure if it's on the menu, so you might have to ask them to make it! Appetizers - Of course, we always start with the complementary chips and salsa, for the win! But you also must get the queso because it rocks. Also excellent for an appetizer is the Nachos with Brisket. These are the not the stacked type of nachos but are the single layer nachos. You will not be sorry because these are succulent. (By the way, if you like nachos, they have the stacked variety, too.) Main Dishes - You can't go wrong with anything on their menu, really. But my all-time favorite dish is the Shrimp Brochettes, which features grilled shrimp, stuffed with whole pieces of jalapeño and cheese and wrapped with bacon! It's served with rice and beans, as are most of their main dishes. Service - The service at Don Chuy is friendly as well. So this place is great, I just caught it on a bad night I think. It's clean, open, inviting, and honestly a place I would frequent if I lived here. The chips are great, and I love they bring you a little salsa glass to refill yourself. The bartender was polite and attentive. The food: their corn tortillas are delicious. Nice texture. The beef fajita is where the wheels fell off for me. My cut of meat was tough and full is grissle. That's not the restaurants fault, sometimes the vendor didn't give the best meat and that's just that. Now, the flavor of the meat was great. The onions were tasty. Beans and rice were perfect. They didn't have any on-menu option to add cheese sauce to bean and rice burritos.. Had to call the restaurant, and ask. First lady tried to sell me over the phone..which I didn't ask. She then, after me repeating 6 times, handed the phone to a guy that sounded pilled out. Guy that sounded like 40 and pilled out undertook the problem more.. but didn't give any answer to my question other than-we can add it.. Problems here, for simple menu services, they sometimes charge by the add-ons and not menu items as much..I believe that to be the case here. Where they pay an extra 15-20$ per year to have the option across their online menus. I told them I'd go elsewhere since they want to lose business for incorrect orders. Very much easier to skim and scam whole order amounts from business with phone orders. And easier to mess them up. I don't buy food out of the back of kitchens. Absolutely gorgeous fail by what could have been so simple, and of course, something expected on-menu for such an establishment of restaurant claim. They're apparently notorious for this, as they've been since opening.. so, most likely a very fragile scam order embesseling is very likely. read more

They were extremely busy so I came back after the rush and tried to put a order in and was told that I couldn't put a order in because they were closed but they didn't even close for another 30 minutes mind you it's a storm and everything else is closed. read more

We place our order our oldest son ordered two beef and cheese burritos that's all nothing else. They brought it out on two separate plates. Our youngest son ordered cheese quesadilla that's all nothing else, that came out perfect. Now my husband and I ordered and I told the guy we wanted the steak fajitas for TWO. Now tell me why that came out with a small plate with maybe 7 or 8 small strips and hardly any grilled onions then a small plate with very little rice, lettuce, guacamole, and sour cream and I kid you not ONLY 3 tortillas.
