They ran the carpeting up to the doorways, and then crudely cut the carpeting around the trim. Then, on two walls they stopped the carpeting about 1 to 2 inches from the wall. On other walls, they simply turned the carpeting up against the wall. We cannot imagine what the installer was thinking (or not). We have called the office, to which their reply is "We'll get back to you" and of course they don't. UPDATE: Okay, Wayne, Al's son came over, saw that the job hadn't been done properly. He said, and follow through on not leaving until it was fixed. They moved the furniture, re-oriented the carpet, and it now looks very good and is fit perfectly in the room. Thanks to Al's for realizing that the initial crew sent out was inept, and fixing all of the problems as well as insisting on NOT being paid until the work was done right.

A price was agreed upon and installation dates set. The day before instal, a time of 8:30 was given. Michel and his crew arrived at 8:25. Demolition commenced and was completed and a thorough cleaning by Alberto. New cabinets were to be delivered the following morning. The new cabinets came on time and were completed that morning. I give Michel and his crew especially Alberto the highest marks possible. Very professional!!!

It was minor, I let it go. The counter top is now cracked. The two original original installer returned after waiting weeks and in fact confirmed that a section of the counter top did not make contact with the back of a supporting cabinet when it was installed. (Resulting in a cantilever that cases the crack) Now they say it is not under warranty, and my wife and I abused it with too much weight or heat. Unbelievable. They are not willing to do the right thing. I'm not asking for a new counter top, Just a technician repair the crack, that is all I want/
