They made the experience as comfortable as possible. I was given numbing shots in my gums and nitrous gas to sleep. I woke up a few times, said some really stupid things, and went back to sleep. I felt absolutely no pain, even when I was conscious. They provided me with plenty of painkillers afterwards and instructed me on how to take care of my mouth while healing. I just had a brand new retainer made by Dr. Lofters. It fits well. He taught me how to take care of it so it doesn't get scratched or stained. These people are the real deal!
