It's been a year since I was a patient here, so I'm ready to give an honest review. I went there for a year or more, and each time, they would say I had something wrong. I would have multiple cavities or need this or that. One of the fillings was on top of the tooth and stuck out, creating a pocket for food to sit. I asked them to fix it, and another filling causes my tooth to hurt when I floss. They also only speak Korean to one another. Anyway, my husband finally said why don't you try somewhere else after they said I had another cavity. I didn't get it filled and found a new dentist. Well, I've seen the new dentist two times and have had absolutely no work needed. Take that as you will. I have two stars because the front desk was efficient. read more

My mom has been seeing Dr. Yi for a few years and recommended I come see her too. And now I've found my forever dentist! The entire office is kind and welcoming. I always feels cared for, and my dental cleanings are gentle. It's easy to make appointments online. And most importantly, she fixed a loose crown on an implant that 2 other dentists couldn't fix properly. I don't have dental insurance, so I'm especially grateful that she saved the existing crown. I also went in to address a small chip in my molar, and she said it was a just rough textured filling and no work was necessary. I was prepared to get another crown, and I was SO relieved! This place I cannot recommend. They are not geared towards repeat customers. I got an additional bill after my routine visit, and my wife got a very large bill.  While sitting in the waiting area for my wife to have her procedure completed. I have to over hear a very unhappy customer about her surprise bill.  So be ready for surprises after treatment, and have plenty of extra money ready.  My service felt rushed, uncomfortable and incomplete. Not to mention the flashlight in my eyes the whole procedure. You can't get comfortable with a LED flashlight blasting your eyes from a foot away.  This was just for a routine cleaning. Paid extra for fluoride treatment which only appears to include the 4 front teeth. What about the rest of my mouth?  My wife had to come back here for 2 more visits having additional work done. Each visit was less and less comfortable and more stressful for her. She really didn't want to come back here for her final procedure. It was already paid for and would be complicated to have another doctor finish.  So I'm sorry, but I cannot recommend this practice. read more

This dentist was recommended by a friend and since I read good reviews online, I decided to give them a try. Although I had pain in my tooth, I purposely waited 2 weeks until they can schedule me on a saturday so that I wouldn't have to miss work. I was a little lost finding this place because the GPS took me to the wrong building. I called to get directions to the office when I was literally right down the street. The person who answered told me that they did not have my appointment scheduled in their calendar. I reiterated to her that I made the appointment 2 weeks ago for a possible root canal/crown procedure. Whoever I spoke to on the phone had me reschedule my bleaching appointment that I had somewhere else that I had to wait a whole month for to get an appointment in stating that I should get my dental procedures done prior to getting my teeth bleached. I remember talking to this office staff extensively explaining my dental situation and when I'm literally right down the street, the office staff tells me that they don't know who I am and that there is no appointment under my name. Mind you, I drove all the way from Chamblee to Suwanee with a friend who drove me in case I would be too much in pain after a root canal. This place wasted me and my friend's valuable time on a saturday morning after waiting over 2 weeks to get my weekend appointment, had me reschedule my bleaching appointment that I had waited a month for (and now i'm going to have to wait another month for it), and claimed that i had never made an appointment with them. Instead of admitting that they had made a mistake and left me out of their appointment calendar and trying to accommodate me for my troubles by at least inviting me into the office to at least squeeze me in, do simple examination or cleaning to prep me for a next appointment, the office staff rudely tells me to come back on Monday. Lady, if I wanted to miss a work day to come into a dental office during the week, I would not have made my appointment for a Saturday. I'm pretty sure this office staff was in fact the one I had spoken to over the phone when I had made my appointment 2 weeks ago. Dentists are a dime a dozen in this town. In my opinion, it doesn't matter if the dentist has good reviews. If ignorant and unaccommodating office staff runs the front office and wastes people's valuable times by "forgetting" to enter their appointment into the system, the dentist is losing valuable business. It makes the practice look very unprofessional. Office staff are the face of the practice. If they are not properly trained or know how to handle their mistakes, you lose businesses. They surely have lost mine. I am going elsewhere and I would never recommend this place to another person. Now, you have lost my business and any other business that I may have referred. All because of an untrained office staff who treated me like I was crazy for stating that I had an appointment when her calendar stated otherwise. I have been going here for a couple of years and chose this dentistry because I could schedule an appointment on Saturday's and from their reviews. To my surprise, I was told I would need to pay a portion of my dental cleaning due to the fact that I had new insurance and since it was Saturday they were unable to verify if my dental insurance was "good". Really???!!!!!! My appointment was booked 6 months ago and if they needed to very my insurance they should have asked when they called to remind me about my appointment a few weeks back. To top that they called me back to say they would try to call and verify my insurance and when they were not able to do that they told me I would have to reschedule. Dr. Yi is the best dentist I've ever had in my 30+ years of life. From east coast to west coast and back again, she and her office staff are the best out of all dentists I've had. Her office is modern, clean and comfortable. The staff is ultra courteous and polite. I've never had a better cleaning than the one Dr. Yi just gave me. I love that she does the cleanings herself rather than a hygienist who can be hit or miss in my past experience. Dr. Yi has also done two flawless and painless fillings for me. She is superb at what she does...very professional and personable, as well. She doesn't make you feel bad for having teeth problems and always makes good recommendations. i have had many problems with my teeth over the years and have met dentists only interested in how much they could charge me, this dentist, Katherine Yi DDS is certainly NOT one of those. The prices were very good, but more importantly, her hands are very steady and the pain, and i am a weakling when it comes to pain, was almost non-existent. I HARDLY DO REVIEWS but after being insulted or being taken as an air head I'm guessing these reviews are fake because this is a money hungry office. Have you ever walked into a dentist office and them tell you they have different "levels" of cleaning your insurance might not cover? Small, medium, and large? Then proceed to tell you that you look as though your teeth have never been cleaned when you go every 6 months? Prepare to spend money on forced scaling for her pocket. Good acting on the dentist part, but once she does her act she sends her puppet Assistants to do the sales pitch. They have no idea what she's prob even talking about because I've been educated on everything I saw on her dramatic X-ray entrance. I've had a second opinion to clarify and they are money hungry. My teeth and gums are PERFECT and had a "little" build up that was cleaned up in 20 minutes. The small area she talked about was one tight tooth that I have a hard time flossing Do not go!!!!!
