I brought my 2016 Hyundai accent into the auto shop of baam automotive, I was informed by the auto shop that the transmission was a court low and they were hoping that this was the fix. It was not. Therefore, they recommended that I came to this transmission shop. Unfortunately, the shop diagnosed that the transmission was bad and needed to be replaced. They really should change their name to "Great Care Transmission"! I limped my Dodge Ram into Vegas after completely burning up the rear differential (because I'm dumb) and Good Care Transmission was super understanding and worked really hard to find all the parts to get me back on the road as soon as possible. Very disappointed in the service this shop provided and would not recommend it to anyone. Initially was told my SUV would be done in about 5 days, a little over 4 weeks later and dozens of excuses I finally got it back. Owner Henry is disrespectful and full of lies. Would not call back when asked, gave me a run around and would not listen to anything I had to say. Transmission was supposed to be rebuilt and he gave me my vehicle back with a check engine light and made excuses as to why it was there. I now have my vehicle back with the cruise control not working and my headlights are covered in something they used that damaged the plastic. Mistakes happen in the automotive industry but handling things the way he did is the reason why shops fail. Awful place, awful mechanics. I cannot imagine why there are so many good reviews. I had them rebuild my trans for $1,500. It took them 2 weeks before I got it back and within one day the transmission DROPPED of my car because it wasn't bolted in properly. It caused extra damage that resulted in another $400 & another 2 weeks without a car. One month later, driving in the dirt at lake mead, minimal washboard conditions and IT DROPS AGAIN!!! Towing bill and yet again more damage.. This place cost me a fortune in damages. (They also closed my hood while a tool was still sitting there and caused a nasty dent they wouldn't take credit for) Luckily, both times the transmission dropped we were driving very slow. I cannot imagine what could've happened at freeway speeds. To top it all off, 1.5 years later I had to have the transmission rebuilt, again.. Good care does faulty work and I wouldn't trust them to lay a finger on your vehicle. read more

I've been here twice, first to just do an oil and filter change for my trans. on my F-350 Truck, then I had them add a 2nd trans cooler and replace front bearings and brakes on my truck, The only thing I didn't like was they wouldn't let me stand "on public property" so I could watch them do the work... (yet they had me walk through their shop to get to the little waiting room) But they did the work, and it seems to have been done right... Prices are high, but so is most everyone else... The transmission on my 2008 Cadillac CTS went out on the way to Vegas. It was just after Thanksgiving, during the pandemic, and I was going to see my father who was in the hospital. I took it to Good Care Transmission to get a quote, but their transmission builder was out. I had another car I could use to go back and forth from Utah to Vegas, so I waited for their builder to return. Well, it turns out the tranny wasn't the only thing wrong with my car, so it took a bit of time to get everything fixed, but I kept telling Sabrina that I'd rather have the car repaired slow and right. The cost was very fair and when I was finally driving home in my beloved CTS, I marveled at how smooth the ride was. It was like floating home on a cloud. Sabrina and Henry are a true dynamic duo!! I will happily drive three hours from California to Vegas to Good Care Transmission. The reviews you read here are spot on and authentic. While traveling across the country I wanted to get a transmission service before going up the mountain to my home, where the mechanics are slow, expensive and questionably ethical. Sabrina and Henry quickly and carefully diagnosed my entire car and listed priorities for me. Henry reassured me a transmission service would not fix what I was feeling in my car. He did however alert me that my air filter desperately needed to be changed and something else related needed a cleaned. Was it coincidence that a simple fix completely stopped the stuttering I attributed to my transmission? IDK They also quickly replaced a washer fluid motor, giving me the option to clean the old one instead to see if it would work. I opted for new, as it was an inexpensive part. DO NOT GO here. They are untrustworthy. I took my car in to have the clutch repaired. One week later I get an engine light and a low brake fluid warning. I opened my hood to take a look and I found a plastic water bottle attached to my car. I also found that they left my sensor and symposer unplugged and lose. I called the shop, Sabrina answered and asked her technician if they left that bottle inside my car. She told me over the phone that they did not even open my hood because it was not needed for the repair. Sabrina said that her shop does not do "mickey mouse work" the technician told her that he did not leave anything in there. She said that the bottle was in there before they touched my car. That bottle was a huge safety hazard as it was next to my fan and my shifting plate. I went in person to confront this issue and showed pictures of my car. Sabrina then asked the technician once again and he then admitted to leaving the bottle in there. That alone loses all of their credibility. When I brought up the other issues they then denied touching those parts of my car. Again another lie. They lied once why wouldn't they again. I asked for 1/3 of my money back as they did not complete the job. The owner then entered the shop. I showed him the pictures and he did not even know what he was looking at. Bottom line is that Good Care Transmission is HORRIBLE! read more

Good Care Transmission is great, I can't say enough good things about them. My wife and I were on our way from Reno to the Grand Canyon in our 2002 Ford F-350 7.3 Diesel pulling a 5th wheel trailer. As we came into Las Vegas the tranny gave out. I looked at the yelp reviews and where the shop was located and called good care. Sabrina was great from the start, she told us to come right in and they would take care of us. Henry the owner came out and tested our truck right away when we pulled in, he told me what I knew, that the transmission was gone. I had been towing with this truck for over 1000,000 miles and I knew it would need rebuilding at some point. Henry offered to put us ahead of other jobs because we were stuck there and he offered to let us stay in our 5th wheel at the shop with a electric cord for power. We ended up limping to a rv park down the street where we stayed for 2 nights while Good Care rebuilt and upgraded our transmission. It turned out perfect, we finished our trip with a much better upgraded transmission. And on top of it all they came in under the price they quoted. Henry is a really quality, honest person of high integrity. Pay no attention to that one bad review, they explained everything that happened with that and they were not at fault. My Honda Odyssey was on the last few miles on its transmission life. I was really thinking about driving it to the salvage yard since the cost of repair is the same as the value of the car. I had a second thought because this minivan has 126,000 miles and I just replaced four tires, time belt, starter and other stuff, so I looked up on Yelp and found Good Care Transmission. This place did a wonderful job in rebuilding my transmission. OMG! My minivan runs like a new car. Sabrina gave us a fair price and gave us updates on the repair progress. Her shop still had 3 cars they had to work on before us, so I was not expecting to have the minivan fixed right away. Sabrina found other problems and fixed them for a small cost.
