Upon walking in, the shop felt small, but all the little nooks and corners made it feel large. Something new to see at every turn. They sell some of the softest t-shirts, delightful scented organic soap bars, cutest stuffed toys and fun quirky gifts. My favorite part was the wall of teas and honey. I will definitely return if I have to find a thoughtful and special gift for a birthday, Christmas or baby shower. I liked how each shelf was a vibe. There was a section with "plant lady" gifts for the friend or loved one that is talented in the garden. They had a rather large area filled will baby clothes, toys, and the recently popular Jellycat plushies (they were SUPER soft). I personally love going to a boutique like this to find a gift rather than ordering online. A Pocket Full of Posies is hidden as I discovered it while on my way to Perk On Main. It's located INSIDE the Main Street Market building. There is, conveniently, a large parking lot with access from the backside of the building. There is also street parking in the front as well, look for the big sign "Main Street Market," sandwiched between Perk On Main and Pokemoto. Parking is $1/hour or free on Sundays.

There is something for everyone in every corner for plant lovers, drink enthusiasts, motorheads, and any other niche you can think of. We purchased a few items and completing some holiday shopping off of our lists. We were surprised to find thoughtful gifts for family and coworkers, especially if they have a sense of humor. We were greeted with a mostly empty display with lots of stuff everywhere. We did manage to get a small group of treats at a fairly high price point, but the attention to detail and quality of the chocolates produced were at levels typically not seen in Connecticut or even around the US. Ever since that first meeting, we try to make the trek here to get a few delectable treats to savor once in a while. The owner is very relaxed and uses his place as a ramshackle display of personality and skill. It's not prim and polished, but there's a few pieces usually on display, a subtle sweet smell in the air, and many interesting flavors and fillings of truffles dotting the display cases. Like a master tailor, this place is known by those who know. They look past the grit and enjoy the true gem. It's really good chocolate, pricy but worth it, and worth a trek.

There is no way to describe it except you must try it. It is VERY good! The prices are a little expensive, but what do you expect for good chocolatier craftsmanship and good chocolates?
