I went here on 2 visits and ordered my drink as 30% sweetness. My first visit was back in April12th Sunday and I had Dragon Fruit Pearl Milk Tea (large size only $6.20) it looked quite pretty. It had 2 different colours suitable for Instagram post. Also, I was silly not to mix the drink before consuming (so you can taste it all) and tasted milk tea and Dragon fruit separately. Pearls were perfectly cooked. The 30% sweetness tasted rather watery. I think their drinks might taste better at 50% to those who like it less sweet. I find this place to be okay. read more

Good Day Good Time is a bubble tea shop located in Crystal mall. I've wanted to try this spot for a while now but have yet to give them a visit. I loved how the cafe was brightly coloured with orange accents and the woodsy feel of it. There wasn't any seating area when we visited. I'm not sure if this is just for the time being or if they never opened the cafe for seating. Good Day Good Time offers fruit teas, milk teas, brown sugar drinks and specialty toppings! Some of their unique toppings include white pearls, matcha jelly, dragonfruit pearls, matcha pearls, fresh taro and cream cheese! I was interested to try out their matcha milk tea because it looked pretty in the photo. The matcha flavour was strong but if I didn't mix it very well, I could taste the powder-y matcha powder. The dragon fruit pearls were soft and chewy. They were not all uniform in size which tells me that they probably make them in house from scratch! Since the matcha milk tea was all mixed up, I couldn't tell if the pearls were actually pink in colour. I wish there was more of a dragon fruit flavour but I think that matcha over-powered it. So next time, perhaps I will try a milder drink so I can see if you can actually taste them! read more

I was excited to try this place as they were known for dragonfruit pearls. We got the lychee earl grey tea latte and added an extra 70 cents for their popular dragonfruit pearls. I'm very upset with the business and hence the review. The drink came in a beautiful cup and it wasn't clear. I wanted to see the colors of the pink pearls. Upon sticking my tongue out, my husband said the pearls were white. We did it vice versa and had the same result.  We went back into the store and asked why we had white pearls instead. The female employee said that dragonfruit pearls are basically white pearls and had dragonfruit sauce added to it. The fact that they were appearing to be white is because the "sauce" was infused within the tea. I took out their brochure and their ad literally translated to "special dragonfruit handmade pearls." I also checked their IG page. All images I came across had pink pearls. All official marketing materials gave the impression that the pearls were made from dragonfruit. I left a review on Google, which I've never done before, as I was upset at the experience. The owner replied and said that the pearls were indeed white pearls (made from sugar) and topped with "water-like sauce" made from dragonfruit. I was even more upset as this was total false marketing as anyone would have assumed pearls were made from its namesake instead of topped with its sauce. I've had "taro balls" and "sweet potato pearls" (from Chun Fun how) multiple times from other Taiwanese places and none of them were "topped with a sauce". Why would I want to pay extra 20 cents for white pearls with sauce when I couldn't even taste the sauce?? Bland pearls aside, the drink was so diluted. I couldn't even taste a hint of earl grey. Ordered this off Uber eats September 29, 2021 The pearls tasted like soap. It's like the pot was not rinsed properly before boiling the pearls. It was like eating dishwashing detergent tasting pearls, gross! I called to complain and let them know so they would stop serving customers this batch of pearls. The girl I spoke to on the phone was so ESL I could not get through to her at all. So they are probably serving soap pearls for the rest of the night. Awful experience. I can't see myself going back there especially when the staff don't understand my feedback and are probably carrying out their routines the exact same way since this incident. read more

3.5 Every time I try a new bubble tea shop, I'm conflicted with trying their specials or getting my usual. Luckily the staff were very patient with me. We decided to get the brown sugar bubble milk and the green tea yakult with dragonfruit pearls. I found the brown sugar milk too sweet without the tea-- but overall a solid choice if you like sweet and creamy. The green tea yakult had a lot of green tea flavour but no yakult flavours. I also didn't detect any flavour from the pearls. Because their staff are so nice, I'd definitely go back to try another drink if I'm in the area. But otherwise, I wouldn't go out of my way to order from here. read more

This place was really hard to find from inside Crystal Mall but turns out the store is facing the outside of Willingdon Avenue so it might be easier to just enter from the outside. I decided to get the Taro Mochi and Purple Potato Milk with Pearls (or something like that) since I'm into purple drinks lately. It was pretty pricey though like $8? I enjoyed it though and there was ample amounts of taro balls and purple potato mixed into the drink. Probably more than the one I had from Choo Tea before. read more

Fiance and I checked out Good Day Good Time in Crystal Mall. We tried two of their popular drinks: Dragonfruit Pearl Tea Latte and Strawberry Having Fun With Milk. There wasn't anything really special about the Dragonfruit Pearl Tea Latte but I did really like the dragonfruit pearls. They added a good sweetness to the drink. Perhaps I'd add the pearls to another drink. The Strawberry Having Fun With Milk drink tasted exactly the same as a strawberry Orange Julius. So if you like that, you'd like this drink.. and you'll save a few bucks too if you get it at Orange Julius. While the drinks were decent, there are several other bubble tea places in Crystal Mall that I'd go to before this one. read more

**COVID 2nd WAVE** There was a promo for a caramel milk tea worth bubbles and grass jelly on Fantuan and we decided to give it a try. The store is a bit tucked away from the main circle shops in Crystal mall, but because of where they are situated they are also visible on the outside. To locate the store, when you are parked in the underground and walked up that staircase, turn right and go through the shops to the outside circle. You should see a sign that directs you to unit 1235. The store didn't have anyone at the time we were there. Using the promo was a smooth transition since they have a QR code scanner machine that redeems it. The girls were nice through the process. The store looks like it is mostly a takeout or to-go kind of set up sans COVID as there's not much room for any sit down. FYI, we don't see any hand sanitizer stations when inside the store. The bubble tea was alright - not great, not bad either. The bubbles were chewy and not under/over cooked. The grass jelly had the usual flavour. Lots of grass jelly and bubbles. The tea is a bit weak and lack tea flavour, but at least they don't overwhelm it with tons of sugar like other bubble tea joints. Overall, ok experience. read more

Conveniently located next to a main street so you don't have to walk through the maze of stops to find it. Not only are the drinks decent, especially the guava juice with pineapple jelly, but their service deserves praise as I ordered 7 drinks in total and they had to make them on the spot. read more

Another bubble tea place oppened up in Crystal mall on the main level. Good Day Good Time is a franchise from Taiwan and specializes in a few drinks, their infamous brown sugar pearl milk, their dragonfruit pearl milk tea and Yakult drink. I tried their Dragonfruit pearl milk tea on their soft opening, just a few days aFter they opened. I found their milk tea to be ordinary and couldn't find a distinct taste to have me coming back. The dragoNfruit pearl was definitely special as you could see dragonfruit seeds in the drink. However, the pearls were not chewy enough to my liking either. Perhaps they arE still getting a handle of things but hopefully will be back to try other things on their menu when they are fully in business. read more

I came here for the Dragon Fruit Pearl Milk Tea $6.20. Dragon fruit itself already has a very subtle taste so I wasn't able to pick it up but I appreciate the novelty. The pearls itself were nice and chewy but nothing out of the ordinary. I read a lot about the friendly service and I can definitely vouch for that, especially since you don't see much of any service in any bbt shop! I also thought it was neat how you can choose the type of tea. I was recommended to go with oolong, half sweet & no ice for this option. I ordered from Good Day Good Time again through UberEats for delivery (UberEats new EatsPass, a bit like DashPass, gives free delivery + 5% off - which means you basically just pay the tips & 5% service fee for delivery) I noticed a BOGO option on the menu. So ordered the Assam Milk Tea With Pearls and Earl Grey Milk Tea with Brown Sugar Pearls. Along with the HK Bubble Waffle (always a good choice). This time round, the pearls were chewy and well made. ===== However, it appears there was no BOGO (it might be an expired offer as I remember a while back they had BOGO promo - but it was still on the menu under the BOGO section) - I wanted to contact UberEats customer support to have them fix the menu if it is no longer a valid offer. (Didn't expect nor want a refund per say if it was no longer offering BOGO. However as I selected missing item, it automatically refunded me the item; I thought I might be able to submit a support message instead to give them a heads up that I didn't get the BOGO, or to update the menu - since other patrons may not be as pleased to think they'd be getting two, but one instead). Manage to find another support route to submit a support message to UberEats - but thought to also mention it here on Yelp in case the store can update the menu on their side instead. (I did clarify as well that their app automatically refunded me which was not my intention, because I did receive the item, just not the buy one get one offer.) On the menu, there is still a Buy One Get One section for a few preset drinks. Y'all may want to change this if it is no longer a running promotion.
