I was a smoker for 30 yrs., did extensive research and decided vaping was a weak man's (me) alternative. At first everything was online, there wasn't any vape shops. But through my travels, discovered Good Guy Vapes. My first visit was unique met the owner of the chain. We had a nice discussion he seemed quite knowledgeable and respected the fact that I did do my research. Ever since, not sure how many years ago, this has been my go to shop. Compared to the old place this is definitely a boutique vape shop. Clean, well lit, and stocked shelves. Multitude of e liquids but even just as spectacular, a multitude of devices. Also a multitude of alternate products. And an expert staff, which were both knowledgeable and friendly. Prices are comparatively speaking just about the same, though they do offer some savings. But the uniqueness of Good Guys is its in shelves and its staff. If you have any smokers as friends or family, vaping, is a definitive way to stop smoking, have them come down talk to staff, it can definitely help. read more

I drove to Good Guy Vapes in Nanuet yesterday after having a mod malfunction which nobody wanted to fix. A Vaporesso mod I had purchased in an NJ store 2.5 months ago. I anticipated I would likely need to replace it, but what I hadn't expected was Nick. I came in and was immediately greeted warmly, and after my explanation, NIck (the MGR.) offered to take a look (any risk being mine-of course). He easily spent 90 minutes just working on my mod, but as I waited feeling grateful for the help, he continued to help and greet customers (all of them) as friends and never kept anyone waiting. Nick did fix my mod and I purchase -$140.00 in e-liquid, but more importantly, I feel like I made a new friend. Nick could not have been more knowledgeable, helpful and especially kind and genuine. You can't teach that level of customer service-he's unique and a natural. I will make all my future purchases from Nick and his staff. Amazing experience! read more

These are the best vape shops around our area, awesome staff and the only shop that has what I'm looking for every time I come.

I bought a vape from there which works fine but they sold my sister a defective vape and now every time she needs to add juices she has to go all the way to the store! They didn't give her a new one or offer her anything. Bad customer service. read more

Don't know what the other reviewer was talking about with bad customer service. I bought a defective device and went to next day and they replaced it because it was a manufacturing defect. Really knowledgeable staff, funny too! If I could rate 10/5 stars, I would just to offset that false review. They give the best recommendations on juice and mods. About 2 years ago I quit smoking cigarettes when I found vaping.. as an alternative. At the time I lived in Connecticut and having a tough time with finding the best vape products they fit my needs. When I moved to Nanuet, I found good guy Vapes through yelp to buy some new flavors and got more than I expected. Honestly, no other vape shop has tried to understand what I wanted until I stepped in here. After my first encounter, I found the right device to fit my needs, as well as the best vape flavor for me. Went to this store on a Friday to get coils, the very next day when I went to smoke my vape it tasted horrible. I didn't have time to go back to the store that day to see what they could do so I decided to go that Sunday that I was free. I go in and tell the staff at the counter about the issue and all he did was shrug and said "ok?" And that their was nothing he could do. Also he was trying to make it seem like I had burnt the coil out when all honestly I pulled it a few times and it was so gross I didn't even smoke it cause it was completely unenjoyable. So I kindly said how I spent money on a pack and I would appreciate a new coil and once again he just shrugged at me and told me that he couldn't do it and said he could offer me 10% on a new pack instead. I walked out furious because I wasn't planning to come back and have to buy a whole new pack of coils after already spending money on a pack to days prior. This wasn't my first unsatisfied encounter at the store but this one was the cherry on top. I will no longer shop for neither coils or flavors here again. read more
