I have been a loyal customer for years, buying all my devices and juice here. I found a unit that I really liked and wanted a second one. They had the mod but not the tank I wanted. The clerk told me he would call me when the tank came in. I bought the mod and waited. Weeks past and no call. I went back and chose a different tank. I couldn't get it to work. I brought everything back to see what I was doing wrong. They told me the device was defective. Since it was more than 7 days from the date of purchase they wouldn't take it back or replace it. The clerk denied he told me he would call me. He lied to my face. So for a $40 device they lost a good customer. read more

While for some things I don't mind shopping online, when I have questions and I want to consider some new juices, I like to come in to a brick & mortar shop. And with vaping especially, going to a b&m means you're supporting a small business, with staff who know what they're talking about. We went in today (3/17) and the two men running the show were fantastic. I picked up a bottle of a highly recommended juice, and one of the house stuff because you should always buy some of the house stuff. It's just good karma, imo. And then.. the unexpected happened. My husband was with me, and he decided it's time to put down the cigarettes. The guys were super helpful with not only recommending us a juice for him (he prefers banana or pineapple flavors), but a mod and everything - my husband left with a Snow Wolf VFENG and all the trimmings. He even let us know that there was a discount on mods on Sundays, but we were there today and we don't mind paying full price. We live in town so we'll be back again, but I just got home and thought before I forget -- I should give these guys a good review for doing a great job of explaining things, and setting up the mod for my husband! Frank did a great job when I was in earlier today. I was looking for a Kayfun and they happened to have one. Their prices are great. Unlike every vape shop in NY/NJ they don't sell the same juice at low milligrams. I was able to pickup a bottle of 18mg juice when you go to other stores the highest they have in 6mg. Even though I live I NY I plan on taking the drive down to this store every once in a while. read more

I don't really know if I can fit everything positive that I want to say about this shop and one review but I'm going to try. The staff here is some of the most professional and personable employees I have ever seen in any establishment. On one visit I saw The mayor of a neighboring town come in with three people from some approval board to ask one of the employees some questions to see if he would allow a vapor shop to open up in his own town. One employee, Bryce, took ~25 minutes out of his day to explain to these gentlemen all the positive effects of vapor and ultimately convinced the gentleman that it would be beneficial for their town. Ewwww. Not good. To begin with, this place is tiny, dingy and cramped. The staff are comprised of elitist, self-appointed vaping gurus who talk down to their customers, ignore the customer's requests and push the sale of whichever product or products they are pushing that week rather than listening to a customer's needs and making helpful suggestions. They talk you into buying overly expensive junk that you don't need and don't really want, and then when the stuff they sold you falls apart after a week or two of light use, they refuse to take returns or to repair the crappy items that they pressured you into buying. They just leave you hanging. Don't waste your money. There are far better vapor stores out there with better prices and much better customer service. read more

I picked up a vaping mod (Kanger Subox Mini Starter Kit) online along with some juice and batteries recently, but after trying it out found I wasn't really enjoying it too much. While there are tons, and tons of articles and forums online about vaping, hundreds of videos, there just didn't seem to be a simple how to starter guide, or basic crash course. So after some admittedly little research I decided to head to a vape shop. Good Karma happens to be practically on the way home from work, so there I went. The shop itself is tiny, has a tiny lot, and is very very easy to drive past! Despite having driven by there hundreds of times, guess what? I passed it. No big deal just circle around, but a larger sign that faces the road with another to show where you can actually get into the lot would help the place out with drive through traffic. Once you park, and go in, the place is tiny. It's not a vape lounge. There is a small area with sofas and a small coffee table, but that's it. At the back of the store, which is ~10 feet away there is a split counter with display cases full mods and tanks. Along the sides there are bottles and bottles of vaping fluid. The service was good, and the girl helped me was very courteous, but I have to say, having said that I knew very little and would appreciate any advice or tips, I felt it was bit a of a chore to get answers out, and the answers were very short, and rushed. I'm guilty of the same thing if nature is calling and I'm stuck on a call with a customer who won't shut up, but that feeling of being rushed is why I'm taking one star off. I've only been to two other vape stores - the first one was BLEH - staff was unhelpful- they didn't know anything and couldn't answer any questions- the second is great but they are a bit of a drive for us. Then I found good Karma- good location for us, parking is easy, the staff is super friendly, helpful, knowledgeable, not pushy with their products, reasonable prices, great selection- willing to make any flavor for you! you want more blueberry and less melon- got it- want more "chill" no problem... definitely going back! read more

James explained the mechanics very well and was able to determine what I liked in terms of flavor and the device needed for the way I like to vape (I like to do it for flavor). I have a rather odd timeline with vaping. I started on mech mods, building my own coils, and eventually made my way into the box mod/tank community. (In other words, I went about things in reverse order at the time) Because of this, when I walked into other vape shops, I would always get the weirdest reactions when I asked fairly simple questions, like how to properly wrap and temper wire, proper wicking for kayfuns, and even what the differences were between sigeleis and IPVs. Good Karma was the first vape shop that I visited where I felt that I could ask basic questions and get straight answers instead of eye-rolls. While no shop is perfect, I strongly believe Good Karma has a winning combination, and they're constantly striving to improve both their shop inventory and their customer service. Sure, it's a small nook in the wall, but if you're claustrophobic, the Saddle Brook location is only 15 mins away and it's 3x the size of the Fair Lawn location. read more

Just lost a customer! Bought some things including about $60 worth of juice. Bought their house brand too strong and wanted to exchange for a lesser mg of nicotine. They basically accused me of doing something to it and didn't want to exchange. Didn't use the bottles at all just wanted the same juice but less nicotine. Never going back. Just buy your mods and tank from eBay it's a lot cheaper than from there FYI. Buying my juice online from now on from their competitors. read more

3 stars because it's not a BAD place to go. I've had a helpful experience there, but 3 out of 4 times i felt the person i was talking too was too cool for school. It was clear the person had the knowledge i was trying to obtain each time, but couldn't or wouldn't relate it in a useful manner (I'd always do my research online first, hopefully to avoid going to a store, so with each issue tgere were things i knew should be mentioned that weren't.) Also, they're overpriced - most mods and tanks go for about $5 more than average. Last thing, not a huge issue because of the slew of options in this regard, their house blend juices are pretty awful. Very artificial /chemical tasting. You could buy a $22 30ml bottle of cuttwood (not good karmas fault, that's cuttwood thinking they're worth that obscene price), and it will be tasty, but otherwise, unless you have a dripper, you have to rely on weak sample kits that barely provide enough flavor to taste. Best bet is online or elsewhere Overall, you'll get some assistance there as a novice, but i was able to advance my knowledge WAY more online and at the 2 other stores around here. read more

This place helped my father quit smoking after 30 years.... I had completely given up on him and took to believe he'd never quit. The girls at the store were so helpful in getting me what i needed that he's been 7 months smoke free and uses the devices less and less. Do you self a favor whether or not your smoke or don't (which I never have) go to the store. You can get a great device and juice with little or no nicotine and you will be satisfied and happy. If like cigarettes or course come here, but If you enjoy hookah like myself..... Then come to this shop and get set up. They could've sold me to most expensive model to start but instead they took their time going over everything with me and finding me the correct model. Seriously, the owner of this and the Saddle Brook store, Dan Donahue, is a perfect example of how a retail store should be run. I couldn't have had a better experience. I bought a Subox mini and it leaked. I went back and the guys gave me a new tank. They were caring and interested in fixing the problem. Unfortunately it still leaked. Bottom line, the owner ended up calling me, he absolutely couldn't have been nicer. His only agenda was to have a happy customer. Wow! He ended up shipping me an entire replacement battery and tank of his choice, at his expense - even gave me a free bottle of juice. Way to have a happy, loyal customer, and a fan. RE: DANIEL D's 5/31/2015 RESPONSE: WTF? Looks like you have been smoking more than just your vapor. Apart from several of your e-Liquids (many of which I "wished" I could return, but being reasonable...never attempted to) the only items I purchased from your shop were your two Innokin Vapor mods/batteries/whatever (and accessories for the same). The first of which died after a few weeks and the second of which died after a few days. Both times I brought the original Sales Receipts and packaging when attempting to return the items. The second time I not only brought the original Sales Receipt and all the original packaging.... but took the time to point out to your sales staff that the User Manual clearly instructed purchasers to return the unit to "your Authorized Innokin Retailer" for Warranty Service during their guaranteed 90-Day Warranty period. Still your "service-centered" sales staff told me that there was nothing they could do for me and I would have to try paying to ship that unit back to Innokin myself if I wanted a product that actually worked for more than a few days. As for: - Exploiting your "service-centered...degree of service" - Frequent visits with returns and - Trying to return things not purchased from your store Well... all I can assume is that you have been smoking something much more potent than the e-Liquids you sell in your store. Those are clearly hallucinations. Ban me if you you'd like and notify the local PD, but you'll be wasting your time. I wouldn't step foot in Bad Karma again if you paid me. I started vaping April 2015 in a attempt to quit smoking. I had no idea where to go. I searched all the local vape stores in my area. I read countless reviews and came across Good Karma. What drew me in initially was their convenient hours. Being that I was a beginner, I knew absolutely nothing about vaping. I was concerned I would be sold the most expensive system and accessories and walk out completely broke with something I may not even take to and still continue to smoke. Not the case. When I walked in, the store was clean, organized, and each staff member greeted me as if I had been coming there for years. I explained to a staff member what I was looking for and what my budget was. He started me off at the "vape tasting bar" to see which vape I liked. They have a huge selection of testers that you can taste so you aren't purchasing blind then stuck with a flavor you hate. I selected two, Hiss Tank Cold Fusion and Grape Drank, they are awesome!!! We then looked at mods. I wanted a more compact mod that would fit nicely in a small purse or pouch if need be. They have a wide range of vape systems and accessories. I left spending well under $100 for 2 vapes and a complete system. The nice guy even gave me a complimentary house vape for FREE on him to say thank you for my business. This is the kind of store that you walk in and they know your name and they know your vape. Since then, Rachelle, has adopted me in the store. I'm ashamed to say her name may be misspelled. She is a sweetheart! When I call she knows me by first name. When I walk in, she knows exactly who I am and what I need. Everyone in the store is incredibly friendly and their knowledge of vapes and mods go above and beyond. They welcome all questions and don't make you feel uncomfortable or stupid for asking. I have called countless times with a question and whom ever answered the phone was super nice and effectively assisted and helped me. Good Karma also offers a cool point reward system that will give you $10 off your purchase after collecting a certain amount of points. They also offer "happy hour" specials too which is awesome. There are many vape stores closer to my home and I still opt for the 15 min drive for the Good Karma Vape experience. I don't trust any other store for my vaping needs. read more
