I was in the area and took one look at the sign and said to myself I could use a cookie immediatly. The store is on the small size with no seating that I could see. The staff where very friendly and helpful and very attentive. The only real problem I had is that it is called the cookie shop and they had a terrible selection of cookies. I figured going in they would have 30-40 different kinds of cookies but they only had 6 at this time at least. I was there first thing in the morning so it was unlikely they where going to bring out any others. I ordered a chocolate chip cookie. It was only ok nothing special at all. I would not go back again. I give it 3 stars as the customer service was excellent which made up for the poor selection and just ok cookie. read more

I stopped in here last week. I was early for a 10:30am doctor appointment nearby, and I was in desperate need of a cup of coffee. I was in here once before for the very same reason, and I'd found the coffee to be quite good. One also doesn't have to take out a loan to buy a cup as one must do at other places. (Oops, did I say Silly Starbucks out loud??!) This visit, I took the time to both look around and smell around, and that proved to be a great move! I saw...cookies. MANY cookies of many kinds, and I purchased 3-a chocolate chip oatmeal, a pistachio with chocolate drizzle, and an apple pie. Fast forward...the one that didn't make me cheer was the apple pie cookie. Used, I'd guess, dehydrated apples, which, unfortunately, tend to have the flavor of damp sand, but virtually no apple flavor, and that was the case here. About all I tasted was butter. The other 2cookies were quite good. Now, backpedal... The SMELLING around portion of my visit yielded this absolutely amazing aroma, which turned out to be the soup du jour, wedding. One look at containers of the delightful-smelling item had me purchasing one immediately. In retrospect, had I known what awaited me in the unassuming quart container, I'd've bought more than one. A LOT more than one! This was quite likely the finest wedding soup I've ever had. Hands down. Every ingredient fresh and lovingly chopped, the broth ever so flavorful, the pasta, orzo, perfectly cooked, and the meatballs and chicken, amply well distributed. Pardon me for waxing a bit poetic, but this awesome soup deserves large accolades! Now, sadly, since I've moved, this place is no longer a short convenient trip for me. Maybe a lot more doctor visits will be in order??! In any event, oh I'll be back, and giving glowing recommendations as well! read more

First off, let me say that their cookies are my all time favorite. The perfect crunch to soft ratio, plus they're huge! They always have a variety of options so I always grab my fave, sugar M&M plus a new flavor each time. My girlfriend loves the Oatmeal Raisin. I love being able to try new combinations while enjoying my favorite in the same trip. And yes, I always eat them ALL the same day I buy them. No shame! Their breakfast and lunch sandwiches are also a great size for the price. Everything is made fresh when it's ordered. Calling ahead is probably quickest but I enjoyed checking out the local goods on the shelves throughout the shop. Wonderful cookie shop in Bellevue! I was given a $15 gift card from a friend, which was just enough for 9 cookies (1 for $2.25, 3 for $6, 6 for $11, 9 for $15, and 12 for $20). Some of the cookie flavors were "Steel City" (made with brownie, chocolate chip, caramel, and Krispy's; highly recommend!), peppermint hot cocoa, chocolate chip coconut, peanut butter, peanut butter chocolate chip, brownie, oatmeal raisin, chocolate chip, lemon, salted sea turtle, snickerdoodle, sugar sprinkle and M&M sugar. When I first arrived, I honestly felt disappointed that the restaurant looked small and unremodeled, and the selection of cookies in the display and soups in the refrigerator looked small. Then I noticed a menu near the door and read it: numerous sandwiches, salads, and wraps that are made to order! I ordered two items from the cook, and I convinced my husband to order two other items. We also picked out six cookies, a chocolate-covered peanut-butter pretzel, Twix-flavored popcorn, and a cat toy (yes!). Upon checkout, the two employees made very friendly conversation. Prices were reasonable, with sandwiches costing about $7-8 each. Here are my reviews for some foods: Cookies - 5 stars - I forget all of the flavors, but they included s'more, lemon chiffon, steel city crunch (brownie, chocolate chip dough, caramel, and cocoa crispies), and others. The cookies were a large size and tasted wonderful! Good 'Ol Grilled Cheese - 5 stars - The slices of bread were grilled French, and they were filled with American cheese, bacon, and tomato. The sandwich was a very large size, more like the size of two sandwiches. A grilled cheese sandwich seems to be simple, but it tasted so good and fresh. Autumn Apple Salad - 4.5 stars - This salad was a large size also, and it contained mixed greens, fresh apple chunks, pecans, blue cheese, bacon, and cranberries. My husband noticed that the employee cooked bacon right in front of him rather than use bacon that was cooked previously. Steel City sandwich and reuben sandwich - 4.5 stars - My husband ate these two sandwiches. They were a huge size, and he said that they tasted very good. Oh wow; this cookie shop is my new favorite! Just located on the main drag in Bellevue (in a tiny plaza with parking which is a plus!), it's a cute little shop with its sister sandwich shop right next door. When you approach the entrance, you can already smell the bakery goodness! I was met by a wonderful woman who I believe is the owner. She helped me make some tough choices since all the cookies looked amazing, while including different types of cookie flavors such as a turtle, dark chocolate with orange zest and pistachio, and so on. Wife and I were just visiting Pittsburgh to visit the Battle of Bushy Run reenactment. One morning we decided to order breakfast and this place was the only one open (outside of fast food like Wendy's). Tell ya what, I'm not upset. I got the New No Way Jose sandwich. It was huge for the price, and even with the door dash delivery time it was still hot. Bacon was crispy and everything was cooked well on the griddle. It was surprisingly delicious for something "simple". Wife got the Marquis. Except for the greens wilting slightly from the residual heat she found it really good too. She even said the sausage was done well with a slight spice (she s a picky meat eater when it comes to fatty/greasy meats). We also got a small variety of cookies, a snickerdoodle, a Pittsburg pothole and a sea salt turtle. Soft and delicious cookies! These are the best cookies in the 'Burgh... I'm guessing, I haven't tried them all. Their booth is at the farmers market in Market Square every Thursday and it brightens my week. I stopped over here not knowing what to expect. It is located in a very small strip mall in Bellevue next to an ice cream shop. Yes, they have their own private "spaces" you can park during your visit. I was floored at the size of their cookies! They were huge! You can purchase one for $1.85. Half dozen for $8.00 and a full dozen for $15.00. In addition to cookies they sell whimsical stuff like little plants, jewelry, mugs, etc. I learned that they make their own cookies right there on the premises and they advised me if I couldn't finish them then I could freeze them for a few days and they would hold. I opted for the berry pretzel one and got a chocolate chip peanut butter one for my daughter. I also saw that they sell "health" cookies with contain 1/3 less sugar. The ones I saw contained fruit and nuts. After I made my purchase I broke off some of the berry pretzel cookie and it literally was to die for!. My daughter told me her peanut butter one literally fell apart on her (it was that fresh). She let me sample a little of it and believe me it did not disappoint. During this time of the year I normally hunt for gingerbread men. They do sell a gingersnaps but I prefer the holiday ones. I was told that they won't be making them however they will be getting some in from elsewhere but they will be undecorated. I came home thinking I had also purchased the white chocolate macadamia nut but it wasn't there. I called the store and to their error they thought I didn't want it. This gave me an opportunity to place a new order for tomorrow. I asked about pumpkin cookies and yes they make them. The lady also recommended I try the lemon one so I created half a dozen including two of the berry pretzel cookies. They also sell brownies, traditional large size sugar cookies, salted caramel so there's a good selection to choose from and is great for sharing. The place is also decorated with whimsical signs. They is an open entryway leading to the ice cream parlor. There are tables and chairs to sit in there but I thought I better just try it out in the car. I also bought a health cookie but decided to freeze it and see if it holds up like they said. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Each one was the perfect mixture of chewy and crispy (for my tastes). I noticed the adjoined sandwich and soup shop was fairly busy for 1130am and also sold hot chocolate bombs. The only thing I can knock this place on is that I would like to see more interesting combination of cookies-I might be in the minority here-but something unusual that I would never think of... a surprise to make me *have* to try it. I was quite excited to try the new cookie shop on Lincoln avenue. I'd heard that the cookies were out of this world! Upon entering we were greeted by a kind,enthusiastic woman who I assume is the baker/owner. She filled our order of a dozen while explaining all of the various flavors. Some of the cookies were still warm out of the oven. We tried about 6 different flavors. Caramel apple pie and banana rum are definitely new household favorites! The size of the cookies are quite large and quite a bargain at under $14 a dozen. Plus your box of cookies gets tied with a pretty ribbon. The shop is small but that just adds to it's coziness.
