Super excited to finish dinner and see a Crumbl cookie next door. I wasn't sure if they had them in Pittsburgh. Very pleasant surprise!! This location is out near Robinson Mall. Again, free parking in shopping center. The self-service worked like a charm. I showed my dad how it worked. In a few short minutes, we were walking out with half a dozen cookies. We got semi chocolate chip, chocolate cake, and M&M. They were all delicious!! Perfect end to a busy busy day.

The worst service ever!!! Blonde young girl. No greeting. Rude finally asking did we want to order. Placed order no thank you or anything. Brought order up - again NO interaction. We asked for a spoon for a pudding we ordered. They do not have any. Was all she said. I asked for a manager she walked away and never came back. Will never go back here again.

Why am I only stopping here now? This place was great - I placed my order on the screen and it was up in no time! I want to go back and try more kinds! Happy Eating!

Great service, great atmosphere, and super yummy. We loving going here and trying all the cookies. The warm ones are our favorite.

While I am not a die hard Crumbl fan, I definitely get the appeal. If you don't know what I mean, here's what you need to know: Crumbl's brand is a little different from that of the average bakery. Rather than offer a wide range of cookies or goods, they focus on serving a limited number of flavors weekly. The flavors range from a classic chocolate chip cookie to more unique combinations that mimic the flavors found in nostalgic candies or even cobblers. And how do you find out the new flavors? Well, the app lists them, but the more exciting/fun way to do it is by watching Crumbl's social media channels. Their weekly announcement videos truly make every cookie look phenomenal and delicious. These are not the cheapest cookies on the block, but I enjoy occasionally splurging on them for two reasons (other than being won over by certain flavors). One: these sweets are HUGE. I am not eating them all in one sitting, and they last a good while. Two: hurray for soft cookies! Nothing disappoints me like buying a delicious cookie only for it crunch and crack to bits in my mouth, so knowing that Crumbl's are soft by default makes my heart and tastebuds happy. All Crumbl orders need to be placed via app, either for pickup or delivery. I don't see myself paying a delivery fee for them in the near future, but alas, the pickup option is flawed too. You have to place the order for a certain window of time, but that's unfortunately not a guarantee that you'll get the order exactly within the window of time. If nothing else, having to wait for these monster cookies means that I won't be swinging by "just because" - and that's probably for the best. Instead, I'll deal with the lines and crowds at the extremely popular Crumbl store only on occasion. And what a sweet occasion it will be!

Another visit here today ... place was a bit busy but was able to place my order easily once inside. I do feel there was a bing of a mess up and my cookies went to someone else - stood there for a while waiting with nobody else around. The woman who waited on me peaked around the corner saw me and grabbed cookies to give me.

The business itself is very cute aesthetically, and they must be running a good business model because there's always a line of people waiting to get cookies! I stopped in for the first time today to see what all the hype was about. It was around 11:00AM on a Saturday, and there were only 4 other people waiting for their orders. There were six cookie flavors to choose from. I chose the pink iced sugar cookie. The price per cookie is approximately $4.73, which I thought was expensive, but again, this is a boutique cookie shop. I waited about 5-10 minutes for my one cookie to be available for pickup. The worker presented the cookie to me in a cute pink box. The cookie overall is good. The cookies are known for being very soft. The texture of the cookie made me think of raw cookie dough, but I know it was baked. It was more Chewy than "crumbly". I think this is a nice shop and has an appeal for their cookies, but, for the price and overall taste of the cookie, it's just not for me. I would visit again if a friend or family member wanted to try it, but I wouldn't go out of my way to order from there again.

My first Crumbl experience and the cookies live up to the hype, in my opinion! I decided to stop by on the way home from work and there was a LONG line, and I was surprised given that it's been open for a few weeks. The line ran out into the parking lot and it was a little frustrating that there didn't seem to be a consistent pace of movement, but I was committed and figured it was probably worth the wait! Roughly twenty five minutes later I was able to enter the storefront and place my order. It's cute inside, very bright and clean! You can see the kitchen making cookies and working to warm them in real time, which is cool. The flavor selection didn't wow me, and I know that the flavors do rotate, and the current selection was very "4th of July" with s'mores, cornbread, blue raspberry icee, apple pie, and patriotic iced with sprinkles. I picked up two s'mores, one cornbread, and one classic chocolate chip. They were heated and the box was warm when they handed it to me! They are VERY sweet and very rich, so be aware - I could only eat the equivalent of a third or so when I split up the cookies into portions. The staff at Crumbl handled the crowd as best as they could, but they definitely seemed a bit overwhelmed. With that being said, each employee I interacted with was friendly and genuinely kind! I hope that there can be a better system for getting people in and out. BIGGEST takeaway is that you're far better off ordering ahead and picking up than you are standing in line. Folks with a pickup order were able to walk right in with no issue. Next time, I know that I'll need to do that! I'm excited to try more cookie flavors to come!

This shop is part of a larger chain but currently appears to be the only location in the Pittsburgh area. It's located in East Liberty and is really more of a bakery than a coffee shop. The inside is split about 50/50, with half dedicated to seating and the other half serving as a self-serve bakery. You grab a tray and tongs before walking around selecting whichever baked goods catch your eye. They also have display cases filled with cakes and other pastries that need to be kept refrigerated. For my coffee on this morning I went with a 16 oz hot honey lavender macchiato while my wife chose a 16 oz iced tiramisu latte. I have to admit that the name of my drink confused me a bit at first, but it ended up being a latte macchiato as expected. With that being said, I thought it was quite good. The lavender was light enough to be noticeable without overpowering the drink, while the honey added just the right amount of sweetness. The espresso was also present, especially on the finish, where it added both flavor and body. My wife also enjoyed her latte and appreciated the tiramisu flavors throughout. Outside of the coffee, we ordered a number of pastries. My wife chose the Crookie, which is a cookie baked on top of a croissant. My son picked out a chocolate-covered Belgian waffle, while my daughter chose the strawberry soft bread. All of them enjoyed what they ordered, and I think my wife especially loved the Crookie. As for me, I went a little overboard and chose a garlic and cheese croissant, a curry croquette, pork-dusted bread, and a sweet taro cream bread. All of them were delicious in their own way. The garlic and cheese croissant was a nice savory option, with plenty of garlic flavor and a crispy cheese crust. The curry croquette had wonderful warming spices that made it especially flavorful. The pork-dusted bread was definitely the most unusual item. The pork topping reminded me of Wild Bill's Beef Jerky, and somehow those savory flavors worked really well on top of the crunchy laminated bread. Last but certainly not least was the taro cream bread. I was impressed by how light it felt despite being packed with an impressive amount of cream filling. The bottom line for me is that I would head back here again in the future. I'm a sucker for bakeries like this and clearly ordered far more than my waistline needed, but everything I tried was enjoyable. While the coffee was good, the pastries are the real reason to visit, with the coffee serving as an excellent complement.
