A co-op style environment, where local artists, makers and creatives show off there work and which you can support and shop SoCal. There is one of a kind art, fashion and jewelry. An added bonus is coffee, so you can linger longer with abundant seating around. It's one of those places where you will always get your find on; a card, a baby gift, a plant. What great concert venue by the Oceanside Pier. We were here a couple years ago to see a couple…read morebands and last weekend we came by to support Jacob's Castle during the Supergirl Surf Festival. The event offered some food options, beverages, and a beer garden. This was a free concert with some bleacher seats and plenty of standing room by the stage. We got to be right up front and enjoyed clear view of the bands. Jakob Nowell and his band put on a fantastic show and really got the crowd ready for the next band, The Plain White T's. We had so much fun and it was a memorable night.

Worth the price of admission…read more Found metered parking literally on the street. Put two hours worth and made my way to the pier. Walked all the way to the end where all the fishers were set up. Enjoyed seeing the dolphins, surfers and waves. Explained to my kids that we were walking over the ocean! Even managed to catch a lifeguard jump off the pier into the ocean. So cool. Whether you're here to fish, sightsee or get in a walk, the pier allowes is all to enjoy the best that nature has to offer. Be back soon.

There is something about crashing waves, the scent of salt water, seeing big beautiful shore birds like majestic pelicans fly overhead that brings such calm and happiness within. This view never gets old! Next time I am here, I am going to make it a point to do some jogging by the beach as I really wanted to bolt up and down the pier and pick up the pace a bit more. I saw plenty of people here walking, jogging, fishing, enjoying life. When I was here last, there was also a musician performing, thats always nice to see. I also kept an eye out for the surfers out here and got a good video of one of the surfers catching a wave. I'll definitely be coming back here, over and over again!

However, the service during our stay fell significantly short of what a property of this caliber should deliver. I traveled with a 4-month-old infant and requested a pack & play multiple times over three weeks and it wasn't in my room upon arrival despite repeated confirmations. The front desk was consistently unreachable by phone throughout our stay, which made accessing the resort fee amenities we paid for nearly impossible. I genuinely believe this may have been a staffing issue specific to our visit rather than a reflection of the property's standard. I would absolutely return, the location and property alone make it worth it. I just hope the service matches the beauty of the space next time.

However, warning- if you are in the middle ocean front rooms (i.e. room 530), they are located outside and there is a train behind the property that runs all night. The manager offered to switch our room but it would have been a downgrade to an ocean view room so we decided to deal with the noise. Note that you also can't see the sunset from those rooms as it is blocked by the rooms on the west side. The front desk service was great. They offered us some wine and champagne and provided us with water bottles. The rooftop pool is wonderful. It's a nice place to lounge. The pool is heated so didn't feel too cold, but we were also there during a heat advisory 75+ degrees). There is a live dj playing lounge music. The food and drinks are expensive so we didn't really order anything. Overall a nice stay, but if we ever go back I would make sure we don't get one of the outside rooms.
