I honestly have not written a negative review in years but felt I absolutely had to given what occurred today. I came in asking for a simple garage opener (my current one had thr plastic break off so it cant connect on my keys) The gentleman pulled out a 3 button Genie remote that I had been looking for. I said sure, I'll take it. He called his employer and boss and asked how much to charge me. He said $45 plus tax. On Amazon, its $14.99. On home depot its $19.99. The same remote was everywhere online for $15 to $20. I was shocked. I said understand you need to make a profit. But $25 would be fair.. and that $45, was grossly overpriced. He shrugged.. didnt say much and basically had no response to his outrageous price point. I walked out and will no longer bring my business here, where I've had keys done in the past. If you need a lot done for your house, these guys are hot stuff. They came in so fast and smooth switched out a our old door knob and gave us something absolutely amazing. Price wasn't too bad. If you give them a picture of your door they will quote you over Yelp. Fast service and fast job but absolutely professional. And they cleaned up real well too. I needed a secure lock but a safety mechanism just in case one of my children get stuck in the room. They delivered. read more

if you need a locksmith.. this is the one stop shop. I've been searching around the area for a place to duplicate my motorcycle keys, went to 3-4 different places and non of them came through. I realized most places only carry the more "common" type blank keys... household kind etc.. well not this place. I walked in and noticed they had a whole wall of blank keys. The only thing worse than blowing a tire on the way back from Vegas is the uncertainty of getting fixed up and back home safe. Thankfully I was already on the 210 and not the Cajon Pass when one of my Pirelli's decided to explode and chunk off on the freeway. Locked my key in my car. Called, he picked up the phone right away, very polite, said he'd be by in 20 to 30 minutes. After 30 minutes had passed called him and he said he was about 5 minutes away and apologized for begin late (again very polite). It did take about another 10 minutes or so and he showed up. Only a tiny bit irritating, I just assume that is part of the business. He was very quick, also still very polite, and his $50 price seemed very reasonable. I had been shopping around to replace the case for my key fob. My current one was cracked and my other key had completely broken. Most places want to make you a brand new key (up to $400). I got a quote from Good Lock & Key and came in during my lunch break. They replaced the case on my cracked key and tested it in my car. Everything worked and while checking the car I found my broken key and he said he could do the same and I wouldn't need to buy a new key. I agreed and for about $100 I got my two new keys and was done in 30 minutes. This place gets 5 stars for customer service and quality of work. I called earlier to check on closing time to verify it was 6 pm. I actually got there at 5:30pm on Friday to find it closed. I called the number and was told it was closed. When I explained that I called earlier in the day, he came back and reopened the shop to help me. Second, they re cut car keys from the original. My key fob broke so I got a replacement shell from amazon for $12 and it had an attached blank which they re cut for me for $35. He took the time to explain that aftermarket blank keys may come thicker and may not fit so he told me to come back with the car if it doesn't fit at no charge in the morning( I drove a different car there. I got home and the key worked perfectly. Good workmanship, offered a remedy at no charge should it not work, and was willing to come back to keep me satisfied and other places might not have cared...plus not many places cut car key duplicates...and it saved me a lot of money. I brought in a blank key and it was $45 to cut and program it. When I had initially called I was actually quoted $50. Mike was was polite and very helpful. The whole process was quick and easy. I didn't get the name of the other employee working but he was very helpful as well. Both of them answered all of the many questions I had. Upstanding guy. My '04 onda had issues with the ignition. My key could go in but wouldn't turn. I gave Mike a call and he came out to my place right away. He knew what the problem was, but he was flush with clients all day. I told him that my case wasn't time sensitive, and that he could come back in the evening. He came back in the evening and spent 2 or 3 hours fixing the car (finishing at 10 PM)! After he was done he explained that there had been tape along the housing of my steering wheel, put there by someone who had worked on the car before I had owned it. He had worked diligently for 30 or 40 mins to remove the tape before he could even start to begin his work.
