Someone tried to break into my car right before Christmas and broke the key hole on my car. I went on yelp and got a few quotes and found their price to be the best price. Wrong, wrong, wrong! I couldn't have been more wrong about Mike. First time at Good Lock I saw this stern, impersonal looking man; we said a few words and he had as much warmth as a block of ice. But because they're so close to my house and made quality keys (there is a difference btw), I kept coming back. Fast forward to an emergency situation where I locked myself and my son out of the house I called Good Lock. And much to my dismay, iceman Mike pulled up in his van... He looked at the non-standard lock, fixed the misaligned internal parts (that I wasn't even aware of) and made a clean new key. So while he was working we got to talking and I learned more about him and his wife, he charged me what he quoted despite the unexpected issues. I told him that when I had called and spoke to a different person, he quoted me $5 per key. My Baldwin exterior handset stopped working -- I couldn't open my front door. I disassembled what I could and still couldn't get it to open. He came out the next morning, said this is an issue with these locks. He gently broke the lock out, replaced the handset with a duplicate one that I got at Home Depot, rekeyed it to my old key and was done. Total time... 10 minutes! Super reasonable price, too.
