The job took 4-days, really 3.5-days with the first 0.5 being a crew who peeled off the old shakes the first day and some supply delivery. 2nd was delivering more supplies, checking for dry rot, replacing as needed, and starting the plywood, and waterproofing. 3rd was shingling and gutters (separate crews), 4th finishing everything up including painting the vents to match with the new roof. We were very apprehensive about the timing, since getting people to respond quickly has been a challenge. However, ARG was one of the first people to respond, and after a quick text, they agreed to come out for a quote the next morning. After a 10 minute walkthrough and quick look at the roof, Delfino left with the promise he would firm up a quote shortly. An hour later we received an extremely reasonable quote by text, on that Friday afternoon. We asked Alex in the office if there was any way they could start the next day, and he said they would see if they could move things around. Very quickly thereafter he confirmed they would be there the next day--Saturday morning. As promised, Delfino showed up with his crew and they promptly got to work. Within 2 hours new flashing was installed, and everything was covered with new shingles. Delfino even emailed me photos of the work in progress, and the completed job. The crew left now mess, and there were no surprises! We were able to pay the detailed invoice with our credit card via text within the hour, and received a return receipt immediately. This was the most painless home repair experience we have had to date! If I had known it would go so smoothly I would have called ARG much sooner!
