I had a relatively minor leak almost 3 years after our Powur Solar system was installed by Guyou Roofing. After contacting them, no arguments, they did not hesitate to return with a crew who went over every penetration, and resealed them just to be sure, even though the leak was very localized to one area. They even repaired the stains caused by the leak, to our interior living room ceiling. Jesus H and the crew left no mess, were very thorough, and he explained exactly what work was performed. No arguments, and no charges for the work - Powur Solar & Guyou Roofing are Class A companies that I would not hesitate to do business with again, and I will refer them to all who ask for Solar and or roofing.

While their salesman is excellent at closing deals, the actual construction work and customer service are incredibly poor. I initially hired them for subfloor repairs in my kitchen and master bath, plus some minor work on my back porch. The initial quote seemed reasonable, so I paid the deposit. However, the scope of work quickly changed. They claimed they couldn't fix the kitchen subfloor without tearing out the tile, forcing me into an expensive new kitchen floor. In the end, the price skyrocketed under high-pressure tactics, my bathroom floor was altered, but the porch was never fixed at all. The quality of the installation is unacceptable. They cut corners by failing to run the new flooring the full length of the room, leaving unfinished gaps hidden behind my washer, dryer, and refrigerator. The flooring is also not laid tight and is separating. When I pointed this out, their "flooring specialist" dismissively asked, "You can see that?" Their warranty is completely worthless, and they didn't fix the problems. I am now forced to hire a legitimate contractor to completely redo their substandard work. Avoid this company.

Arthur of Greentek is an incompetent, dishonest, and for a lack of a better word: loser. We have…read morebeen dealing with Arthur for 2 years and there's so much that has happened that I can write a horror novel. SHORT: -Arthur lost his contractor's license halfway through our job and didn't tell us. -He does NOT pay his sub contractors! We speak to many of the subs and they all have only terrible things to say. -Arthur has walked off or been kicked off other jobs. I have spoken with a few different people who he screwed over. LONG: We hired Arthur in July 2022 to do a large house remodel. When we hired him, he had good reviews and a license. Since then we've had nonstop issues causing him to walk off the job. This all started because I did not like the sub that he had for the kitchen. He had allocated $26k for the kitchen so I asked him to just give me the credit and I will handle the process myself. He did not want to give me the full amount. This led us to a big blow out fight where he claimed he did a lot of work without charging us. From there, my husband and I spent hours going through the multiple contracts Arthur sent and all our correspondences to figure out all these discrepancies. He would forget to add certain scopes of work into the contract/price breakdown. Turns out he actually owes us more money than we owed him as he was making it seem. At the end of the day, we just wanted to pay for what we were supposed to pay for and Arthur needed to pay for what he was supposed to pay for. 1.The lawsuit: We currently have a mechanic's lien on our home because Arthur did not pay Ganahl Lumber the material cost ($22,000) for our home. He lied and claimed a framer stole the materials but Ganahl has proof of delivery to our home. As well, there is another home nearby that is on the lawsuit with Ganahl. I spoke with them and they had no idea about any of it--they had kicked Arthur off the job last year. 2. The work: Our house looks good from afar but far from good. Everything boils down to the framing work and Arthur's lack of construction skills. --Framing was not properly leveled which meant the drywall that was placed over it was wavy, which meant our walls/ceilings are crooked. --The flooring is already coming undone in many areas of our house. It has been less than 3 months and it is very clear that we will have to get the flooring replace before the years over. I had told Arthur from the beginning that I was nervous about the flooring as it was creaking. In the contract, he stated he would replace the subfloors "as needed"--not realizing that ALL the subfloors would need to be replaced. This caused a huge fight as he didn't want to pay for it. His solution was to place a thin layer of plywood over the subfloors. Creaking is still there and floors are cracking. Areas where there was concrete were not properly leveled so the areas are buckling as well. --Beams: Arthur wanted to use cheaper labor had someone who was not a qualified carpenter install our beams. They installed it so poorly and cutting it without the proper tools that we had to get them ripped off and replaced. 3. The walk off: Our painter finished the ceiling and primed the walls before we realized the walls were all messed up which meant Arthur had to pay another drywaller/taper to come out to skim the whole walls--that meant we had to re-prime the walls so he wanted to use his guy because he was cheaper. We have had so many issues because he goes cheap on labor and it affects our house (another ex: he went cheap on beam installation and we had to buy all new beams to reinstall). We told him there's so many issues with our house (showing him the wavy walls in our pool house again) and we simply want him to pay our painter and be done with it. Arthur walked to his car and drove off without saying another word to us. Do not hire this scum. He is a liar and shouldn't be a contractor. He should be locked up for all the money and issues he's cost not only us but many other people. I'm limited in how much I can write but contact me for more info.

They dont tell you that, what they do is keep telling you someone will call to schedule a repair. The joke that showed up broke the gutter while trying to figure out how to repair the leak. Left us during Christmas and New Years season with a hole in the patio cover. Said he would come back after Christmas but showed up in February after me calling a million times! Finally came and put a piece to replace the gutter he broke that was a different color and looks spray painted fresh. Dont know where he got it but it didnt fix the leak. Been almost 1 1/2 years now and still no fix and when I call i get the worst customer service ever making me feel like I have no right to be angry. I have called William evey name in the book for how mad I am. Mind you this was an $11,000 patio cover and unfortunatly the 3rd install that my family did with them a if that mattered to them. All 3 installs had issues! I wish we would of waited between installs to see how the first one goes. While installing the mail strip that attachess to the house they put the bolts straight thru the wall to my room. I called them from the first day and the same thing with the run around. I have so much more to say but I could go on for hours. Im gonna sue them for all 3 properties. Save yourself the headache!
