This was his very first time being away from us since birth, so of course he cried a lot in the beginning. At his previous "first" school, they actually kicked him out on day 4, saying his crying was disruptive to the other kids. As parents, that was so discouraging and disheartening. Ms. Kelly and her staff at OTDS were the complete opposite. They never made us feel like his struggles were a burden. They knew crying in the first few days was totally normal and worked with us as a team to help him adjust. He did cry for the first few weeks, but the staff showed so much love, patience, and compassion. Ms. Kelly is also very communicative and the school has an app where parents can see pictures and videos from class. It's the sweetest thing to get updates of the kids doing art, story time, music, or just playing together. The rest of the year turned out amazing. OTDS is such a fun and nurturing environment. They do holiday celebrations, invite parents to events, have music time, outdoor play, sensory and pretend play, water play in the summer, and even a little garden. All of the teachers are wonderful with the kids, and you can tell Ms. Kelly is really careful about who she hires. Because of the growth and confidence our son gained at OTDS, he started public school this year and had a great first week. We're so grateful for everything the school gave him and highly recommend them to other families.

The biggest thing that stands out to me is the people. The teachers and leadership here genuinely care about children. There is so much patience, passion, and dedication toward not only keeping the kids safe, but helping them learn, develop, socialize, and feel like they belong. My first son adjusted very well here, and when it was time for my second son to start, the staff made the transition incredibly smooth. They went out of their way to create an environment where he could feel comfortable and be around his brother while he was adjusting. They communicated with me constantly, updated me on even the small details, and were always kind and patient whenever I had questions. I especially want to thank Ms. Bella, Ms. Sakura, Ms. Angelina, Ms. Melissa, and Myrna, the director. Every one of them has been wonderful. Myrna is very hands-on, and you can see that the leadership is genuinely involved with what is happening in the classrooms and with the children. As a working parent, one of the hardest things is leaving your children somewhere all day and trusting other people to care for them. Tutor Time has given me something incredibly valuable: peace of mind. I can go to work every day knowing my boys are safe, happy, well cared for, and with people who genuinely want the best for them. We just left for TK he's about to be 5 and he is still speech delayed (in ST) but can talk better than ever before, fully potty trained (courtesy of Mrs Shelley whose gone now) and had many friends at this school. On top of that he knows his alphabet, can write all his letters and numbers, can count to 30, can follow simple directions etc. This school changed my son's life for the better, he had his ups and downs here but overall I was soooo pleased and would send any future kids here.
