The brownie is more of a souffle and was massive. Our server made some great recommendations and was very friendly. We saw him running around like crazy to all his tables and it seemed like he could've used some more help as we had to wait at times on our water being refilled, getting leftovers packed up to go, and closing out our checks. What a beautiful lake to walk or run around ! Located in…read moreAltamonte springs right of of the I4 exit and in uptown Altamonte this is a wonderful outdoor area. I decided to get my cardio in and the run was amazing with such a pretty view of the lake , ducks, turtles, flowers and a new heron sculpture. One lap around is a mile so after I hit my 3 miles, I sat on the benches located directly on the lake and truly enjoyed the morning sunshine and breeze. There were tons of people getting their cardio on and of all ages which was very ice and I felt very safe. There is a stage area located near the road where live concerts and events take place Monthly. They have a posting area to see all the upcoming events and even have health walks and seminars coming up. Even though this was a bit of a drive for me, I truly enjoyed getting my run in with a new view and will definitely come back again.

Crane's Roost Park is such a beautiful space not just for attending fireworks, festivals, concerts…read moreor other events. It's a great place to go for a walk. There were families taking a walk while others were fishing or having a picnic. A pair of photographers were out taking pictures of the wildlife in and around the park. The park grounds are kept and well maintained. There are plenty of parking spaces available with multiple access points to the park. On our walk, we came across a food truck that was stationed near the park. Culinary Concepts by Chef Pierre offers a variety of food options from burgers, fish sandwiches to shrimp and ribs. Chef Pierre can be found on Thursdays and Fridays at different locations/apartment complexes. We ordered the Fried Fish, French Fries and Coleslaw combo. We did, however, opted out of the French Fries. The Fish was fried golden brown and was crispy. The Coleslaw was fresh and delicious. Chef Pierre and his staff were friendly and welcoming. We have been searching for new parks to frequent since we recently moved to the area. Crane's Roost Park is definitely at the top of our list and now our go to park. We will also keep a look out for Culinary Concepts by Chef Pierre next time we visit Crane's Roost Park.

I'm impressed with how many bathrooms there were here! To me, that is necessary at a bar. Whoever was running sound that night did a great job because the band never felt overly loud. I was a little nervous about it without my ear plugs (why do I always forget those when I'm going to see a band!). We sat in a private nook in the corner which accommodated our 8 people (which the staff was fine with us adding 2 more to our 6 person reservation initially). The entire place is so well decorated and if you look around there's tons of fun details and decor. The menu is made up of a map and they provide everyone with their own personal flashlight to see it. When you order certain drinks, it triggers various special effects. At times, it felt like an adult rainforest cafe with changing sounds and lights. Our server went above and beyond to make our experience great, going all out with his special effects and overall sassiness. You get a two hour allotment and our server did a great job of updating us of how much time we had left. We will definitely be back!

They really did a nice job with this place land the theme on every square inch of the place! We had a group and got a nice private booth in the corner. Our server was the best he made it so much fun. The drinks are very on theme and they have them divided by how much alcohol is in each. Some are even made to share! Also we learned as we went that some of the drinks come with a special show! I'll keep the surprise going and not tell you which ones! They are quite expensive (over $20) and the ones I got tasted awful...but it was more about the experience! I think it is more of a novelty type place but really fun with a small group.
