PTSD can have yuh wanting to stay inside, but my wife and kids got me out the house, and we ended up at Keg Social. They were glad we did. The kids walked in with their eyes wide open, ready to try everything. We had to slow them down. This place is huge...bowling, arcade, axe throwing, karaoke, pool, and more. We got the kids arcade passes for $20, and they had a blast. I even squeezed in a few games of pinball and almost hit a high score. Bowling was affordable too, about $30 for the lane and $4 a person for shoes. The music was on point without being too loud, which I appreciated. After a few gutter balls, we got the bumpers up and the kids were all smiles. We ordered food right to the lane. It came out fast, tasted good, and the drink specials helped keep the bill reasonable. Around 9-10 p.m. it shifts to more of an adult vibe, so keep that in mind if you're bringing kids. Overall, it was a great family outing that didn't hurt the pockets. There's still plenty we didn't get to, so we'll definitely be back. Maybe next time for axe throwing or karaoke with just the grown-ups. read more

I love bowling! Though I don't go often, I love it. When family was here visiting, we didn't want to just go anywhere, we figured why not go someplace that everyone else was raving about. So we ended up here at Keg Social. This bowling alley is massive. It's perfect for large groups. They've also got ax throwing. Billiards, arcade games and a bar. They're open pretty late and have late night happy hour specials and deals for college students on Wednesday nights. If you're not here during those times, expect to pay alot. $40 to bowl an hour and $4 for shoe rental. You can play longer than an hour... they just charge your card when you go over your said time. So beware when you have a tab. They offer military discounts which we told them we had and even showed them proof but after our hour was up, they forgot to apply the discount. See... that's what happens when you have a tab. Because of that ... I will not be returning here. I don't trust them. How unfortunate because I really wanted to like this place. Don't get me wrong. This place is great for groups. But I was just turned off by what they said and then turned around and did the opposite. There are better places to go bowling. read more

Headed over to Keg Social for an office happy hour and friendly competition. The place is massive with plenty of parking options to choose from. They have so many food and drink options that suits every taste. We went and checked out their bowling alley, axe throwing, and human cup pong. A fun time was definitely had and we appreciate the host giving us supervision and tutorial on how to best throw an axe! My only critic is that they need to hold your card at the bar so if you wanted to go bowl or do any of the activities, to have a separate card or check those out first as you would need to close a tab to get the card back. Keg Social has been on my list for a while and finally made it out here. First off the place is humungous and there's so much to do--bowling, ping pong, arcade, karaoke and so on. We went for the arcade and food/drinks. Will say I wish the arcade area was a little larger and had more game options. Now for the food--the brisket mac and cheese was flavorless but the seasonal vegetables were surprisingly good. My friend ordered a shrimp salad and commented that the shrimp were a little cocktail-y looking (I don't eat shellfish but I agree). My first time here. It was fabulous. Not only is there plenty of fun stuff to do, but the service and the food was top shelf! They have an excellent local and more general bar selection. Plenty sample for sure. I ended up with the sliders and fries. The burgers were perfectly prepared and the fries were fresh and hot. My husbands company party was held at Kegs Social. This place is enormous. Located in Waterford Lakes or behind Waterford Lakes. Parking lot is as big as this place. We were served decent burger and pulled pork sliders. Amazing tower of crinkle fries, waffle fries and tater tots! I love tater tots. Ceasar salad was delicious and fresh and made me feel virtuous eating it before the burgers. They serve Pepsi products, (won't hold it against them) because the Pepsi was icy and refreshing. The axe throwing required a waiver and a brief training on how to throw. It was fun and empowering! The bowling was awesome. Lots of lanes. Music, varied and fun. And I won with two strikes. It looks like it would be a fun place to go to and it would be if I didn't experience all the trouble. First, some of the staff were very rude. For our bowling lane, it was malfunctioning and we lost a lot of time trying to find someone to fix it. The staff that helped us was nice and eventually moved us to a different lane but they didn't extend all the time we had lost. Came here with a couple people after some drinks down the road and I'm glad I did. Aside from the parking lot being absolutely chaotic, this place was awesome! I loved how spacious the inside was and how well organized everything was. When I got here there was a few worker standing near the front that greeted us and told us the deals going on at the time. We decided to stop at the bar and grab a couple drinks, I like that they stated on the menu how much alcohol was in the mixed drinks and I decided to get a rum and Pepsi. I do wish they have coke because the flavor is different in my opinion with Pepsi. The bartender was very friendly and poured all our drinks insanely quick. The lime he included was a nice little addition. Prices during happy hour for the well drinks start at $5 and go up from there for mixed drinks and beers/wine are different prices as well. I walked over to the arcade area and they had a deal going on with arcade game cards being $5 for each hour during the time I was there. I didn't get a card because I wanted to play pinball and half the pinball machines were broken. I do wish they get them fixed soon. This was my first time at keg social and overall it was a good time. I did find myself disappointed with some of the service methods. I didn't like that the you pay for your bowling lane at the counter but have to wait for the bowling shoes to be delivered to your assigned lane. The time we paid for was ticking away while we waited for our shoes and time is of the essence. I think it would have been better if the timer started once shoes were received instead of beforehand. As for the food, I got the nachos with chicken it was definitely a huge serving and very good. The tables were a little small for 4 people and our meals. Recently came here with my husband and sister and I'm glad to have found this place. The location is very easy to find and there is a very nice amount of parking out front so you don't have to hunt for a spot for too long. When we walked in we were greeted by some friendly staff members and we made our way over to the bar and started a tab. They had pretty good drink specials so we ordered some drinks and sat around to talk. The drink's came out super strong and our bartender was a very friendly guy who checked on us pretty often to make sure we were doing okay. The drinks were mixed well and the lime I had with my pepsi and rum was fresh. My only thing I don't like was that they have Pepsi products and not Coke so my drink was different tasting but not in a bad way. For the drink it came out to roughly 4$ and I had a second one. We walked around a bit to look what else they had to offer and they have a bunch of stuff! There were many pinball machines, unfortunately a few of them were off or broken so we looked at what else was around. There are a ton of arcade games to play as well as about twenty lanes of bowling to enjoy while watching some old school music videos! The place is very spacious and I never felt like I was close to anyone while I was there enjoying my drinks! Visited this evening for an early dinner with some friends. The place was fairly empty so we were able to have the area pretty much all to ourselves. It definitely is not kid friendly first and foremost! There is not even a changing table in the bathroom! That was crazy to me. The high chairs were extremely dirty so we did not even use one. We kept our kids in their strollers to eat. Anyhow, we had a server that was very sweet to us, but I had to send back my first order. I ordered the chicken pesto pasta and it was full of oil and the chicken seemed processed. I ended up getting the chicken Caesar wrap which was good but because I chose the fried chicken instead. The kid meal macaroni and cheese for the was a spiraled pasta and a generous portion. I also ordered a half and half tea but it was so gross. It came out of a machine and I thought it was fresh. I wish they had told me that. I am pretty sure we got charged for it as well even though I told him that I didn't want it and I would just drink water. If you are in the area, I think it's great for the ax throwing, they have a ping-pong table and the bowling of course.I would eat elsewhere and then come and do the activities. The staff were overall very kind and cool. The burger was swapped for an impossible patty and for the most part was good just tasted a little bland. The fries were standard and so were the pretzel Logs. The bartenders both upstairs and downstairs were great vibes and had great knowledge on the different drink selections and things on taps. Also the employees working the games were kind and helped us when our bowling game went off. The arcade they offer is small but since there's so many other things to do you don't really notice. They just didn't seem good to me (or Those who tried them) Axe throwing was fun. Our hostess and instructor on that area, Sky, was really good and got must of us to nail our throw. Bowling was interesting: we occupied 3 lanes, they automatically put some names up on one (which we didn't know) so when we started setting up the lanes we had dupps.
