Beautiful venue with a serene lake and ample amphitheater! This is a popular place for walking, jogging, and hosting events. There are places to sit down, have a picnic and observe wildlife. Free parking nearby at the adjacent mall. There's a speaker system that played music during the event that we attended while here. The area is well lit and not too far from I4. The area is also very well maintained.

This is absolutely gorgeous at the holidays and from the reviews it's well maintained all year round! I walked around the lake on the very clean walkways to see the lights on a beautiful cool Friday evening and found lots of parking close to walk around safely with nice crowds of couples, fitness enthusiasts and families enjoying the park with a few security guards for peace of mind. There are plenty of seating areas and play areas for kids throughout the walkways and the upscale surrounding living ,shopping and restaurants make the entire space amazing to visit!

never knew how beautiful Cranes Roost Park was until this event! The lake views, well-maintained walkways, and relaxing atmosphere made it the perfect spot for Taste of Altamonte. I was surprised to learn that the full loop around the lake is a mile long--such a great place for a scenic stroll. The sunset? Absolutely immaculate. Watching the sky change colors over the water while enjoying delicious bites from local vendors made the night even better. The event itself was well-organized, with a great variety of food, friendly vendors, and live entertainment to set the vibe.

I occasionally venture out to Crane's Roost Park to either attend an event or enjoy a scenic 1-mile walk around the lake. During walks, it is possible to see a variety of wildlife such as birds, turtles and fish. The park is a beautiful, well-designed space. It is a great place for a walk or jog or just to sit out and enjoy the weather and nature. No wheels are allowed so leave the bikes, skates, etc. at home. On one side of the park is an amphitheater that is often used for shows and programs, along with restrooms and various places to sit. The location is near the Altamonte Springs Mall, AMC Movie Theater and a number of restaurants and shops. This is convenient, especially if there are no events that are hosting food trucks or other street food vendors. There is plenty of free parking and in the nearby Mall parking lot which is another plus. I definitely recommend checking out this park if you haven't already.

I went to this park for the Taste of Altamonte event last week. Parking was quite easy at the garage or lot at the mall nearby. It's an easy walk to the park from the mall, and there is plenty of space to walk around the lake. Since I was at the event, they blocked some of the areas including the central area, but still there were other spaces to walk for the non guests. I loved the views of the lake, especially during the night when the park and buildings are lit up. The fountain in the central area is quite nice and well lit. We also had a wonderful band playing live music during the event, which was very enjoyable. There are even restaurants nearby the park, so you can enjoy food and drinks after a nice walk. And of course you can shop at the mall nearby. It's definitely a very nice park in the Altamonte Springs area.

Nice park with plenty of space to walk jug or run, the park is so big that the walking trail takes you Around the whole lake. There is always some type of event going on here and lots of people so you can feel free if you come here to walk or just clear your mind. Plenty of restaurants near by so if you get hungry after your walk/ run you can grab something to eat.

Crane's Roost is one of my favorite places to walk in the Orlando area. The full loop is about a mile long and gives you beautiful scenery the whole way through. Plan on seeing plenty of ducks and turtles on your stroll or experience the beautiful color-changing lights if you go in the evening. Just be warned, there aren't many covered areas so it can get pretty hot depending on the weather.

Cranes Roost Park is a nice park just off of Interstate 4 in Altamonte Springs, Florida. It is a nice park, though it has more of a sidewalk around a lake and maybe downtown walking type thing more than an actual park. Cranes Roost Park is named because it surrounds Crane Roost Lake and is host to the popular 4th of July fireworks display. The park itself was a pleasant enough experience and I enjoyed my time over here and even though it was a bit chilly (the temperature was just under fifty degrees), it was nice enough to spend some time here. If you find yourself in the Altamonte Springs, Florida area and are looking for a place to chill for a bit, go check out Cranes Roost Park.

If you have not been to this park, you are missing out. The park has a walking path over the water and is close to nice greenery areas for workouts and some yoga. I do know the City of Altamonte Springs does fit classes there once a week and events. I also enjoy all of the pokemon gyms and spins at this location too. The piece of art was so gorgeous I had to share. It is a mama nurturing her young. I would definitely recommend this location for family and friends. They have free parking and restaurants within walking distance. The park staff are friendly and always seen taking care of it when I go for walks Saturday morning.

Great spot to walk around, snag pictures, and take in the views of the I-4 eyesore....a dream. Seriously though, it's quiet and relaxing and right off the main road so you can easily bring some snacks and make a picnic or walk around and grab something to eat when you're done. The photo ops are plentiful, and it's unbeatable for getting some extra steps in!

I wouldn't recommend section C - they had those tall metal chairs that look uncomfortable in that section. The doors don't open till right before showtime, but there's covered tables & chairs to sit & wait. Parking was a bit tight. The doormen were very fast & efficient. Everyone was friendly too! I've lived in Sanford for 17 years, and while I've only made a handful of trips to Rockin'…read moreRhonda's, each visit has left a lasting impression. Most of my time here has been spent meeting up with riding buddies heading to or from a charity motorcycle run, or supporting local bands. Our most recent visit was this past Saturday to catch our friends' band, Night Wind, play. Unfortunately, the turnout was smaller than expected, likely due to the 11th Annual Mardi Gras celebration happening downtown. We started at the festival, then made our way to Rhonda's to enjoy the band before heading back downtown to wrap up the night. Rockin' Rhonda's is a classic dive bar and a popular pit stop for bikers--this might deter some newcomers, but if you're in the area, I highly recommend stopping by for a drink and a bite. The drink prices are some of the best in town. Well drinks are only $4, and if you order two of the same drink, it's just $6. You really can't beat that price, especially downtown. I usually ask for a double in a 16oz glass, so I don't have to juggle drinks all night. They also offer $12 domestic beer buckets, which are a great deal, and on Saturdays, they discount top-shelf liquors by $2 when you order a double. Food-wise, they have a decent selection of bar-food and it's affordable. A cheese pizza is $10, and only $2 more for a pepperoni version. If you're in the mood for something different, you can grab two corndogs for $6, mozzarella sticks for $5, a cheeseburger or hot dog for $4, or even taquitos for $4. For a casual bite, it's a great deal. If you plan to hang out for a while, there are several high-top tables available for dining. The staff here are friendly, and the place is generally clean and well-kept--inside and outside. If you're looking for something to do, there's no shortage of entertainment. They have several arcade games, two pool tables, multiple dartboards, and JENGA to keep you busy. If you're a bit tight on cash, there's an ATM right inside the main gaming area. When you step outside from the back of the bar, you'll find a cozy seating area next to a clean pond and fountain. Beyond that, there's a large, covered outdoor bar/patio area with more high-top tables facing the stage where our friends played. There's even another outdoor bar and service area to the left of the stage. The outdoor space can accommodate over 60 people (mostly standing) if the crowd is right, making it a great place to hang out on a busy night. We had a fantastic time at Rhonda's, and I'm grateful they provided the space for our friends to perform. The drinks were fantastic, and I appreciate that they pour the old-school way (free-pour), which is a nice touch. Three things to keep in mind: (1) Smoking is allowed inside, so if you're planning to dine-in, you may want to enjoy your meal outside under the covered patio; (2) the parking area and the space between the patio and stage are mostly dirt and sand, so it could be dusty/slippery/or muddy depending on the weather during your visit; and (3) The venue does not providing in-house lighting and sound for the stage, so if your planning on landing a gig here you will need to bring all of this equipment and manage your sound/lighting needs during the show. Overall, Rockin' Rhonda's is a laid-back, local gem that's definitely worth checking out if you're in the Sanford area.

It seemed like everyone knew each other there. If I ever go back to Sanford (which is doubtful) I would go here again.

I've been to a lot of comedy shows and have never once stood through one until the one at Soundbar. The show was advertised at 8p. We arrived about 7:30 and were told the the doors opened at 8. The show finally started at 9p which is ridiculous as everyone was pretty much inside by 8:15p. Keep in mind, everyone is standing and waiting, so the hour delay made it worse! I don't know the reason, but most of the comedians were wandering around during that time, so they were there. Maybe the main guy was late, who knows. When the show started, it was better! Lot's of comedians and all were funny. Some of them commented and seemed empathetic to the fact we were all standing. By the end, we were sore and couldn't wait to get to the car to sit down! I'm sure the venue is perfectly find for a rave, acoustic, punk rock, death metal, country band (don't you wish one band hit all the marks?), but using this venue for comedy is a mistake. Especially when the show doesn't start on time and you're standing there for 3 hours!

I recently saw William Ryan Key here (formerly of Yellowcard) and, although I've seen more Yellowcard concerts than I can remember to count, this was one of the best experiences I've had seeing him/them just because of how intimate the space was. Great vibes all around. The staff is friendly too. I'd come back to Soundbar for concerts again and again.
