I have always wanted to try Germantown Cafe for brunch, and we were not disappointed! With a larger…read moregroup, we split the cinnamon sugar rolls and there was plenty of variety for everyone's main meal. The cinnamon sugar rolls with strawberry butter are a must. They are fluffy with a great dough and flavor. I split the GC Benedict and the French toast, and it was a perfect balance of sweet and savory. The French toast is the best lemon poppy seed pound cake flavor made French toast style. The GC Benedict is a traditional Benedict, with a summery lemon flavor in the hollandaise sauce. No complaints from the rest of the group on the avocado toast, GC breakfast or crab cakes. And to top it all off, our server was incredible. They provided recommends on what to explore in Germantown and were accommodating of the needs in our group. 10/10 cafe!

Our server was great and attentive and let us sample the gumbo before ordering a full cup. It was spicy and pretty solid choice but more of a jambalaya consistency. The calamari was subpar, it's a cornmeal batter so it didn't really have a taste very bland batter and not sticking to the calamari well. I wouldn't order again. Coconut curry salmon was veryyy good! Well balanced flavor. It was rice and broccolini underneath with a very rich coconut sauce. I would order again, easily.!

I ordered the Chicken Parmesan sub, and it was one of the best sandwiches I've ever had. The chicken was super tender, packed with flavor, and the sandwich was huge. I only made it through half and ended up eating the rest later that night. It was just as good the second time around. My wife had the Spicy Italian, and she loved it. The sweet pickles on it really made the sandwich stand out and gave it an awesome flavor. The atmosphere was really cool and felt very authentic. They also have a grocery section where you can buy authentic Italian sauces, pasta noodles, and other items, which was a nice touch. The only thing that surprised us was the fountain drinks being $5 each, but they do come in a souvenir cup. If you're looking for an amazing sub sandwich, I highly recommend Little Hats. The food was fantastic, the staff was friendly, and Germantown itself is a great area to walk around and explore. There are tons of cool places nearby. We'll definitely be back the next time we're in Nashville. I'd give this a 5 out of 5 stars.

It is much…read moremore than that actually, as there is a grocery part of the space as well with high end imported Italian goods. The parking lot was crowded when we pulled up and there is a number you have to call to register your vehicle or else it could get towed. We found this info on a sign inside while waiting in line to order. The menu had so many good options, but I was in the mood for a sandwich, so the Spicy Italian is what I got. We got a number and had no problem finding an indoor table as it was hot out. The outdoor patio is very large though and this place can hold a lot of people. The food came out in 10 minutes or so and the fontina cheese went well with the spicy cherry peppers, which were unique to this sandwich. It also came with some potato salad. There was a self serve water station and you bus yourself.

They even accommodated my request for a low table with only a short wait -- and that meant a lot to me. My server was absolutely amazing! I should have gotten her name, but her service was so outstanding that I made sure my tip reflected how much I appreciated her. Now let's talk about the FOOD! I have been on a year-long search for stuffed crab shrimp, and BABY... I finally found them! They were absolutely superb and definitely earned a spot on my A-List for stuffed crab shrimp. And the drink? The Pomegranate Blueberry was sexy, refreshing, and delicious. I had one before dinner and, yes... I ordered another one after dinner. No regrets! The ambiance is what really sold me. It's low-lit, intimate, and sexy, but not so loud that you have to yell across the table or ask people to repeat themselves. You can actually sit back, enjoy your food, and have a real conversation. ‍ This would be a perfect girls' night out or romantic date-night destination. And as a woman traveling solo, I also appreciate the little things -- like being able to find a parking space close to the restaurant. That matters! I felt comfortable and safe here, and I noticed other women enjoying themselves at the bar, which made me feel even more at ease. Great food. Sexy atmosphere. Excellent service. Easy parking. Safe and comfortable. Definitely going on my A-List -- especially for those stuffed crab shrimp! I forgot to mention that my salad was life and I lived it. Gorgonzola Chopped Salad was simply fire.

I had a hard time deciding on what to order, as there were so many appetizing dishes. I settled on "Devil's Pass" (chicken and penne pasta tossed in a slightly spicy cream sauce with red onions, red peppers, mushrooms, tomatoes, parmesan, and fresh basil), and it was delicious. To drink, I had a white sangria, but it was only so-so. However, I'm giving Sedona Taphouse four stars because the penne was so good! [Yelp collections: Nashville, TN 2026]
