I am extremely disappointed with my experience with Gleam Team Cleaning. Unfortunately, the service did not come close to what was promised or what anyone should expect from a professional cleaning company. When the cleaning was supposedly completed, many areas still looked untouched. There was still visible dirt, dust, and grime throughout the home, including areas that should be standard for a move-out clean. For the amount I paid, I should not have had to go back through the property and find so many things that were still dirty. What was most frustrating was the lack of professionalism. A professional company should take pride in its work, pay attention to details, communicate clearly, and make sure the customer is satisfied before considering the job complete. Instead, I was left feeling like the job was rushed and that my concerns were not taken seriously. Charging over $300 for a move-out cleaning that was not properly completed is unacceptable. I expected a dependable, detailed, and professional service, but that is not what I received. Based on my experience, I would not recommend Gleam Team Cleaning to anyone looking for a true move-out clean. Once, the issue was that all the cleaners needed training, which they told us on the day of. Last weekend, we were told on the day of the cleaning the cleaner had a personal situation (which is never great to hear right before hosting a party). This morning, we were told around 8:30am that our 8am cleaning wouldn't be happening (making our early morning wake up and prep on the one day I get to sleep in completely unnecessary). During the cleaning I was present as I was in meetings during their time here, however, I gave them the appropriate space to complete the work (e.g, when they finished downstairs I moved downstairs so they can continue upstairs) I switched about 1 hour before they left my residence. When they left my home, the master room was just vacuumed thats it, I cleared out my glass desk so it can be cleaned and all the surfaces were dusty and untouched. There were corners that you can tell were not even touched as there was dust, laundry room was untouched all surfaces we not wiped, mirror streaks, sliding doors not wiped from inside with windex to remove baby hand marks, and so on. There was many spots that were missed and I was left very disappointed. It is with a broken humble heart that I write this, but even if I was offered from the owner to return and clean the spots missed after sending her pictures, it is not my job or responsibility to have to check. I was asked to leave everything out of the way in which i complied and the main purpose of my inquiry was because it was dusty from being vacant. To conclude, I recommend maybe creating a checklist or a simple walk through prior to leaving making sure all rooms were cleaned appropriately. Reflecting on this, what if you get a client that is not home during the cleaning? This is a learning experience for everyone but I do hope for future clients, you take time to inspect as a owner and teach staff also that prior to leaving you must properly review each area.

The first day they asked for an extension, I said "sure, sorry, I didn't realize my house was that bad" the cleaner responded "oh no, it's not the house" with giggles in the background. Things that were said to be done from their website. So I called again. One more time they came out, they got 95% of the house clean. Ill give credit for that. But it took 4 times. They were kind enough to take off a small discount for the trouble, and like I said, they got most of it done. Main reason for my 1 star review is the quote above, said to me on my last call to cancel service. That certainly is not the kind of work ethic I'd hire again.
