Quite possibly the worst experience I have ever had at an auto shop. If I could give 0 stars I would in a heartbeat. TLDR: this shop took at least double the initial quoted time, charged me more than the initial quote, and failed to fix my car, and caused damage to existing parts of my car. I had a turbo Subaru crack an exhaust valve, so I took the car to this shop since I didn't have the time to do an engine rebuild myself at the time. I was quoted a certain price and a 2 week repair time for a full new long block. After almost no communication I called the shop after about a week and a half to check on the status of the repair and was told that actually they didn't have the engine and didn't know where it was. The repair ended up taking at least another two weeks and ended up being multiple hundreds of dollars over the initial quote. When I finally got my car back I found that they had somehow managed to drop the engine, leaving a large dent in the oil pan, it was leaking power steering fluid in a location that it had not leaked from in the past, and they had managed to rip the turbo inlet boot, causing a lean condition code and a rough idle. When I returned to show these issues I was told that "I didn't bring it in soon enough" and that they would not replace or refund me for any of the parts that they caused damage to because it had been "too much time since the repair" (the car had ~90 or less miles on it since the repair had been completed). When I asked for a refund on labor charges they handed me $30 and said that was the best they could do (most shops would bill at least 1.5 hours of labor for the turbo boot replacement, equating to at least $150). In conclusion I could have done this job in a more timely manner and to a better degree of accuracy in my own garage with my own knowledge. These guys suck real bad and I wouldn't even trust them with an oil change. If you like the sound of a shop that cuts corners and won't even guarantee their own work then this is the place for you! We were in the middle of a cross country drive when our maintenance light came on, we pulled over and someone in the city referred us to good vibes auto. They were able to fit us into their schedule and worked hard with our trip/ time considerations in mind.
