We bought in Dorris Farms in November and was promised a pool this summer (2026). However, it was a lie. No pool has been started. We paid to join the HOA and pay our monthly fees on time. Goodall is not doing what they promised. After moving here, I was told by neighbors that they have been promising a pool since 2024. We bought our Goodall Home less than 3 years ago from the original owner, so this was one-owner home. The home was built in 2014. The builder, or their plumbing sub-contractor, put in a 2013 water heater. The ceilings on the main level are all poorly finished and wavy. The vaulted ceiling in the primary bedroom is poorly finished (crooked, not straight looking). It makes me wonder if there was a major leak or flood from the fire extinguisher system when the home was built, which was not disclosed by the former owners when we bought from them. Per getting to know our neighbors, this apparently happened to a few people on our street when Goodall built their homes. Additionally, we were notified by our licensed plumber that the entire piping and universal tub/shower valve were not installed to code or properly secured. All this to say, the former owners didn't manage the processes with Goodall Homes and their sub-contractors. Bottom line, make sure you visit your build site almost daily and micromanage them until they are red in the face. This needs to happen by us as consumers to make sure that they don't cut corners and build a half-ass home. Also, make sure to do ALL of your inspections, no matter the cost, when buying an already lived in home...regardless if it has only been owned by one family/person. read more

We are very satisfied with quality and workmanship of our Goodall home. We did purchase a former model home so there were some differences in "new home" warranty which is understandable. Customer Care Team was easy to work with and responded quickly, although we have had no issues with needed repair work. Sales department was fine as I don't think they have any idea what's going on with the builds. Building was massively delayed which caused payment to go up due to interest rates hikes. Still can't blame them to much for supply chain issues. However the warranty department is absolutely atrocious! It took them 9 months to address a handful of issues. Over that time they did not follow up on any concerns I had but twice. I have literally never had worse customer service in my life. read more

Goodall Homes is by far the WORST and most DISHONEST company I've ever had the misfortune to do business with. The short review.... we signed in February 2021 and were supposed to close November 2021. We didn't close until July 2022 and have a list of 259 outstanding/items issues that are yet to be resolved including some serious hazards like our entire 3rd car garage flooding through the foundation when it rains, another garage door inoperable due to the wire being caught in the track, banisters loose and splintering, the side of our dishwasher's sharp metal being exposed and garage stairs that are rotting and not even connected to the ground. If a corner can be cut, Goodall cuts it. If a cheaper vendor can be found, Goodall finds them. If cheaper materials can be found, Goodall buys them. And every single employee we interacted with us lied to us with a smile on their face. After all was said and done... Goodall cost us over $70K in mortgage costs do to rising rates, $40K in living expenses because they continued to promise close dates and slowly extend them out month by month, $10k minimum to install proper drainage and landscaping that a past employee promised us would be done correcly and immeasurable damage to our emotional well being. Goodall doesn't care about you or your home and nothing about the process is "Fun" or "Easy". The icing on the cake was when the VP met us at our house and when we told her she was responsible for all of the incompetent employees beneath her she stomped off and drove away. It is now two years since we bought our home in Knoxville and they have not finished everything that they agreed to fix under warranty. I have called, begged and done everything they asked. Excuse... There are 160 newer Franklin residents who bought condominiums from Goodall Homes at The Avenues of Shadow Green. The issue is the Bait & Switch Goodall Homes pulled on all of us. They advertised and sold reserved/assigned parking spots with each unit. A big selling point for condos. We have closing documents with maps detailing where our paid for reserved parking spots are. When Goodall first started selling the condos in the 1st of 16 buildings, the City Of Franklin informed them they can not sell assigned parking spots on City of Franklin streets, which ours are considered. After being notified by the city Goodall disregarding the notice and continued to the remainder of the buildings with reserved parking. Those reserved parking sports have since been removed. Goodall Homes needs to be held accountable. read more

The whole building process was a disaster, would point out obvious things like door frames being crooked and it would take multiple times to fix. After 2 final walk throughs still multiple issues. Upgraded stairs to be stained and it looked like it was done by a child. Counter tops are already peeling up after 2 weeks, upstairs bathroom floor is not even level. Horrible experience. Stonebridge Villa It's the worst builder experience ever. So many things to mention here, it's incredible. From the initial production process, to move-in and after, it's been impossible to deal with these people. They always make excuses that make no sense. They talk 'down' to you like you are dumb to the building industry. Craftsmanship is horrible. I'm re-doing many things after move-in because they are done sloppy. So many things were gone unnoticed and I had to point everything out to them. Work was done over and over again for the same issue. There is no accountability with the tradesmen, they do whatever they want with no apparent supervision. They take shortcuts to save money, (24" on center studs, MDF baseboard instead of wood; we weren't told it would be MDF, 15A outlets on 20A circuits) all this to save a few dollars but overall, hundreds/thousands of houses, they save money. 2 months post closing, I being told to contact the warranty department for issues not resolved, that are mentioned as, 'not resolved' at closing. This should give the readers of this review an idea of how it's been working with goodall. oh, yes, too many pictures to attach! Don't have the time. read more

First off, i tried to find ways to rate them higher. Our home is no doubt a beautiful home and is valuable, however their were issues in the beginning where the project manager did not pay attention to detail such as putting in the wrong counter tops, not raising the height of the island, and putting recessed lighting in the correct locations around the home as agreed in the contract. After calling them out on it, they fixed them before the move in date. In addition, their customer service and ability to follow up with customers post the move in date posed another issue. No one has reached out to us to fix the things that were agreed upon in a contract after the move in date. The fireplace went out in a month, some of the kitchen cabinet doors are not leveled, there was issues with the dry wall around the staircase, and several other issues that still have not been fixed after year 3. So, be careful with this builder as they put up homes quickly without focusing on detail and not following up with they buyers. read more

Absolute worst experience ever. From the beginning on problems with a House and lots of empty promises made. Went through 4 project managers so far, and even had upper level management promising to get things fixed and never followed through. Had the yard fixed five times, leaky roof, full bathroom tile remodel needed, plumbing issues, electrical issues,drywall,.... Every time I speak to somebody I just get empty promises. Had to deal with a subcontractors that told me that I'm getting what I deserve. And to top it all off I just spent a week of my vacation sitting at home waiting for somebody to show up to fix stuff. The only positive people I had to deal with his Drew the Realtor and Jenny in Warranty We just had our backyard ripped out again, they remove all the nice grass and replaced it with garbage weeds. We super regret buying our home. Their follow-through has been really terrible. There were lots of items on the inspection that weren't completed by the day of closing and I was assured by their agent that he would make sure everything was addressed. We are two weeks out from closing and I don't even know if the heat works upstairs, several items on the list have yet to be addressed and agent has washed his hands of it.... if we could go back and redo it, we would absolutely not buy this home. read more

My mother lives in a rental that was built by Goodall. The the AC still doesn't work and wired backwards. The doorbell had a bag of plastic screws in it where the ringer was and wouldn't work. It took 6 weeks to get that repaired. The hot water tank had a meter that was bad and It took 6 weeks to get that fixed. The sewer started spewing up out sewage out of the ground, and sewer bugs literally covered the cars the windows. They don't put the pipes in before they pour the foundation. The stench was unbearable. All the houses in this subdivision are having sewer issues. We had to call the city and the health dept to get them to fix it. Do not buy a Goodall home. read more

"West View Crossing" Chattanooga TN. I bought the lot in Feb 2021' and moved in Dec 21' and and am 1.5 years into living here. Avoid Goodall at ALL COSTS. Much like any corporate builder, they are not a company of their word. They do not honor agreements and do their best to not fix your home or procrastinate for months, even with weekly calls. They hire inept project managers that are too young and unqualified to be in charge of building homes. They say they do multiple inspections on your home but when you bring your own in, Goodalls "passing" inspection is complete FAIL when you bring your own inspector in. Goodall couldnt handle the amount of fixes that were needed to the point they had to hire a secondard company to handle them. About 75% of the 60-70 homes here hand major issues, from sewage leaking in homes, roves not installed properly, no proper drainage for rain, driveways no paved correctly, putting floors down when no windows were installed, Allowing drywall to get moldy and they still installed it. The list is in the hundreds probably 1000+ if I were to talk to everyone in the neighborhood. If you buy a new home from Goodall, I hope you do not experience what me and my wife did. I'd honestly give negative stars if I could. Goodall doesnt deserve to be in business with their awful standards. read more

Here is how GoodAll Operate: - You hold your lot by paying 1% of closing cost of the house. They will tell you that they have many exterior colors for the house and you will put big trust on them and you get your Designing appointment and they will show you ONLY TWO OPTIONS. IF you ARGUE WITH THEM, THEY WILL TELL YOU TO WALK OUT. (Of course, their designing meeting won't be right away, it will be 3 months or more. Depends on their timeline to start that Phase) - Once you finish your Designing meeting, they will call you directly for prior Dry wall meeting. (In my case, I had to initiate many meetings for their Concrete started having Cracks and more than 200 issues). I had to pay from my own pocket for inspection during that time and found many issues of their structure. GOODALL WON'T LISTEN TO YOU for ANY ISSUE EVEN EXPERIENCED INSPECTOR WILL TELL THEM. - Once you finish your designing meeting, they will NOT even let you do blue tap meeting in other words, to go through inspection. I had to fight for inspection (of course, I have ended up paying to external inspection and completed inspection with my family and found more than 200 issues). FINISHES OF PRODUCT IS WORST!!!! THEY WON'T FIX ALL OF THEM. - Final meeting will be held before closing date, THEY WON'T FIX ALL OF THE ISSUES, And tell you that you can CALL ONCE on YOUR 11 MONTHS FROM CLOSING DATE and ASK WARRANTY DEPARTMENT TO FIX ANY ISSUES. This is my third home, and it's by far the worst I've ever owned. Issues with workmanship, an ineffective QC process, lack of follow-up for significant repairs, and constantly shifting personnel ensure that the house they build is full of obvious and avoidable issues, and is repaired to the cheapest and least effective standard possible. We have had our home for over two years, and we remain in the warranty process because the repairs can't be completed in a timely or acceptable manner. Starting from the final walkthrough, we noticed that toilets were installed with a noticable tilt, hardwood flooring was scratched, and concrete driveway/patio had gouges and scratches. After a few weeks, we noticed more significant issues- every exterior window was scratched (cleaned with a dirty rag), every piece of drywall had excessive mud, lacked sanding, and was extremely lumpy, exterior trim pieces were missing, hardwood floors were not secured properly, all tile in both bathrooms required removal and reinstallation, dead outlets, Heating AND cooling issues with both the AC units and the ductwork, bad caulking, poorly installed trim pieces...to name just a few issues. Every repair that was conducted- every single repair- incurred more damage to the house. Hardwood floors, carpets, cabinets, walls, railings, doors, furniture, appliances...all damaged due to careless contractor repairs. At least 75% of the repairs required more than three visits to repair until a basic standard was met, or I gave up trying to have them fix it. During this time, the Goodall person in charge of warranty repairs changed over 5 times, resulting in our warranty issues being dropped, repair plans not turned over, causing us to go through the issues all over again with the new person. Five times. When I meet people considering purchasing a Goodall home, I tell them of the issues I've had, and recommend that they refuse to close until they have had a professional inspection completed, and all the listed issued fixed- avoid the warranty process if at all possible. I purchased one of their homes from out of state as an investment property. They started off well. Their sales rep was a real pro and the design department was great to work with. They were more than a few months late on closing, but that is understandable with COVID and difficulty obtaining supplies, but upon closing, when the tenant moved in, I learned that they didn't hook up the electrical for the dryer I purchased from them and refuse to do so, the doorbell didn't work, some paint needed touch up and some other misc. repairs were not made. Now I have to find handymen from out of state in order to satisfy my tenant. They could have received good marks from me if they fully understand how to properly provide customer service to out-of-state owners. read more

Wow, where to start. I was one of the "lucky" buyers who purchased a Goodall Home in Chattanooga before they decided to pull out of the market. I have to say this is the worst decision I have ever made. Not only did they turn over the completion of my home to another builder(Pratt) but there was absolutely no oversight from Goodall, even though they were sure happy to take my money. First of all Pratt had no incentive to complete my house, they were more concerned with building their own homes in the neighborhood so my house was done 5 months late. The craftsmanship and materials used are both very poor quality. Most of my trim and baseboards look like they came from a seconds pile, I had 2 different types of door knobs in the home, there are multiple issues with drywall seams popping, plumbing, the roof, framing, bad paint, crooked walls, and a long list of repairs that I have been fighting to get fixed for over a year. This list is too long to even list. I moved into my home in April of 2023, at that time the drywall seams in the ceiling of my great room (living,kitchen,dining room) had already started to pop. You could even see the drywall tape. After fighting with them for months and hearing every excuse in the book from that is how it is suppose to look, the room is too big to hide the seams, they are showing because your ceiling joists run that way (I had pictures to prove otherwise) they finally agreed to fix it. On Aug 31 2023 they dropped my ceiling. Drywall dust, insulation, electrical and all. Mind you I am living in the home, I had no kitchen access for week, They did not come back out to hook up my electical(lights) until September 12, vents were not reinstalled until September 21st, and insulation was not reinstalled until October. They left a 1-2inch gap around the top of my fireplace in the drywall that dropped insulation, painting was never completed, vents were installed improperly I can go on and on. I spent 4 days cleaning up the insulation on the top of my cupboards, behind my refrigerator, scrubbing paint off my cupboards the mess was horrendous. The gap around the fireplace was not addressed until March 13, 2024!!! So I heated my attic for the winter and my ceiling did not meet code. Their fix for this was to send someone to cram drywall mud into the gap and now my ceiling looks like it is melting into my stone fireplace. Every time someone walks through the door, when they actually show up you have to start at the beginning which is frustrating and annoying. Repairs that have been done are done poorly or not complete. My 1 contact at Goodall (that I had to hunt down myself) left the company in September of 2023 and I was passed off to the warranty company Oak Branch Construction Solutions and communication with them has been sketchy at best. I have had no direct contact from Goodall at all. Oak Branch Construction has now passed my house off to another warranty company with no explanation and I can't even get a return call or text. The 2nd warranty company has now passed me off to a handyman of all things. I'm about at my wits end. The icing on the cake had to be when a representative from Oak Branch Construction said to me I'm sorry you got such a crappy house move to Nashville and buy a Goodall Home and I will show you what a good construction home is. I'm sorry but I was under the impression I was buying a Goodall home. The bang just isn't worth the buck here. Do yourself a favor and if you want to do thousands of dollars of repairs on brand new home, buy from a value builder. Do not buy from Goodall. And just a side note: The owner at Oak Branch Construction used to work for Goodall, and these guys all go to church together, so they cover for one -another. For good Christian people they have no trouble lying, cheating or misleading you. Save your money and the heartache and find another builder. read more

my house was built ok. the experience was not great though. conditions outside the contract and neighborhood are subject to their whim. if you buy early in the development the neighborhood will be a mess. they do not care if you need to go through construction debris to get your mail or how it looks, but if your yard is not what they like they will use the homeowners' association they control to come down on you. i looked for a neighborhood without street lights. found one. no lights, no disclosure of lights to come. then an email saying street lights are coming. i pushed back showing contractually that was never disclosed. their response was this will add value to the neighborhood and your home so get over it. the experience was not worth the average house. now eye-sore lights are up and they look so cheap. but don't worry you will have fun getting nails in your tires to go get your mail. read more

I'm in Waters Edge in Franklin and the agents promise you everything and never deliver! They promised me a move in date and was delayed! They promised verbally to fix a damaged item and since it was verbal, they refused to fix it later because it was not in writing. I hired a home inspector after I moved in because the repairs kept piling on and he found so many items! I have repair people here weekly fixing everything. I sit here several hours a week waiting on repair people to show up and sometime no one shows up, then they reschedule you again, out 2-6 weeks! I had 5 brand new houses in my lifetime and never seen anything like this! Some of these walls are out of square so bad! I get tired of waiting forever for people to show up and do the handyman items myself. The ponds were the selling points with fish and they drained them all and no one knows why. The field was suppose to be a nice meadow with grass and trees and kept up nicely, but it's just a giant hole in the ground, we call that up north, a gravel pit! Drive by and see it for yourself! I have no idea what the other subdivisions are doing, so check for yourself. read more

It has been nothing but a headache dealing with this company. The list of issues will probably not even fit on this! From lies at the beginning, to attempts to cover up a major structural issue with our foundation, paid to have a luxury master bathroom and our bench has been installed under the shower head. The bathtub itself is un-level. Paid to have a fireplace installed on the back porch and no one noticed it was forgotten until we brought it up! Electrical outlets placed in the wrong places, wrong front door delivered and yet again it took us pointing it out for it to be noticed. The siding fell off a day after installation.. the list goes on. The amount of money this company is wasting on repairing issues that could of been caught if they would SLOW down on throwing these homes up OR hire the appropriate amount of people to actually be project managers!!! Instead they have two overseeing the Knoxville/Maryville area so how can they keep up with 100+ homes going up at once! We went from believing we were going to have a nice quality home built to having one that will most likely fall apart in a few short years or cost us another $500,000 to repair. Typically we do not "bash" companies on the internet but the word has to get out. Maybe just maybe upper management, Warren Buffet or someone will wake up and see something needs to change. Closed on a Goodall in Westview Crossing, Chattanooga, TN 9/30/2021, and it has been an absolute nightmare with a roof leak in 12/2021 and taking 3 months to finish back, wood floors coming up that were installed in the house with no windows in yet and we argued and were told by the Project Manager, that he was told to move ahead. Electrical issues knocking out half the house until it could be fixed on their time, terrible concrete work on the porches, driveway, foundation and garage, plumbing issues, and now damage on the front of house that it took 6 months for them to try to fix and now, they have left it worse and uncompleted. And now yesterday, 7/29/2022, we get an email from corporate Goodall that they are pulling out of their Chattanooga communities, and concentrating elsewhere, and assigning the warranties to a 3rd party, and we have to wait for a call while our warranty gets shorter by the day. So now the end of your 1 year inspection is out the door by Goodall. We are all holding the bag in here at Westview Crossing, Chattanooga praying for the best. For what we all paid, this company which stakes 1 of it's core values as "God", is disgraceful. We wished we had Never stopped by and start drinking their Kool-Aid, or believed All the Lip Service Given. They Do Not answer their phones, emails or texts. I have repeatedly asked for higher ups, names, phone #'s, and emails, and am Always brushed off and told I/we do not have that. Please, I Strongly Advise "Do Not get involved with this Berkshire Hathaway Company". Bob Goodall should be ashamed of the company he sold and what has been done to the new Goodall Homes customers. The vast majority of the employees listen a little and try to get you to stop so they can get away from you. Summerlin subdivision in White House, TN. I should have read the reviews before purchasing one of the goodall homes. They throw them up in 3 months. The drywall and paint looks like a 10 year old got their first job. It's horrible but they give you some putty and paint for touch-up. Nothing like having to do drywall repair and touch-up paint on my BRAND NEW HOME!!! Like others, we had two different project managers. Dale is our current one and is worthless basically. Goodall came to us before the house was completed about the door we picked. They said the door has had many complaints about rattling. Said we had the choice to either put up with the rattling or pick a new door. We chose to pick a new door. Dale tried his hardest to talk us out of replacing the door. When that didn't go his way his mood changed. He sends his helper to our walk through and shows up late. Then leaves after 5 minutes. Now we have had to call about getting our door replaced. It was finally installed about month later after we moved in the house. Now we have had to call to get it stained. The design studio has been very helpful. They stated they tried to get ahold of Dale but has not been able to get ahold of him. We had two floor boxes put in our living room. Neither are square, project manager simply said its too late. I wish I would have read all the reviews and looked at the BBB(Better Business Bureau). If you want a quality home, Goodall is NOT the answer. If that doesn't matter and you are in a hurry, Goodall is for you!! read more

Criminals! Never in my life have I seen such a collective effort within an entire company to cut corners and sell faulty products. Our entire neighborhood is considering a class action suit. We have contacted media, the city and are now filing with the State Attorney General's office. Not only will Goodall not honor their 1 yr warranty's, but they will not finish their work if it is not in writing, and will not return your phone calls. Our entire neighborhood has had erosion, standing water and mold issues. Their hired contractors are equally as frustrated with the company, as our understanding is that our contractor has not been paid yet for any of the projects he has done in the subdivision. We would love to speak to someone higher up or someone who gives a damn, but our local warranty office only wants to give us the run around. After almost a year we are still no further to getting any help from these people. One of our neighbors threatened to get legal representation and was laughed at by one of the warranty guys saying they are more than welcome to, but Goodall doesn't loose those cases. Quality of finish work throughout the house is terrible. We were rushed through the final walk thru and had very little time to look at everything because they had "another appointment." We just had our 1 year warranty appointment to "fix" all of the nail pops, seams, etc and there were so many that they couldn't finish them in one day. We were told that it would be a 2 man job on the next visit to finish and yet there was one worker who showed up and then informed us that he would not be able to finish everything on that visit. Because they don't cover anything, we spend the better part of our evening and morning covering our furniture to protect it from drywall dust, and then to learn that the repairs would not be completed in one day was upsetting. I called the "customer care" and was told that the worker sent was one of their "older workers" and probably couldn't work as fast as others but that they couldn't send anyone else. The worker informed us that he had to leave at 3:00 for another appointment. Meanwhile, I have to wait for yet another appointment to have the repairs completed. I have waited for a year to have more stone added to the front of the house because it was left incomplete. Buyer beware! If you buy a Goodall home, make sure that you look at everything before you close and during the year write down EVERYTHING that you find. They won't address it unless it is written down. We purchased a home from Goodall in Jan. 2019 and it was completed in Oct. 2019. We were shown beautiful artist renderings of how the common area would look on our street in the sales office. We were told that the landscaping for our section would be completed when the last house closed in Dec. 2019 when the last house closed. We were told this by the sales agent and the project manager. In the spring I contacted the Project manager as no one was out working on the common areas and there was construction debris including a large pipe behind our home and a construction road that was supposed to be removed. I was told at this point that it was the developer's responsibility so I asked the project manager who the developer was and he could not tell me. I continued to complain to the project manager and the sales agent and nothing was done. On July 7th all residents received an email from Goodall stating that they had been delayed on completing these things due to the weather-really? A 7 month delay due to weather? The email that was sent was sent from a do not reply email and there was no contact information so I wrote to the sales agent asking her to forward my response to Goodall. I expressed my frustration that things had not been completed and that Goodall was making excuses. That was two weeks ago and I have yet to hear from anyone, meanwhile the area still looks horrible as evidenced from the attached photos. Buyers beware, Goodall will show you a beautiful complete project yet they fail to complete things in a timely manner. They still have not completed all of the things in the first section of Rizer Point and it has been over 5 years now! They have done the same thing at their Water's Edge development in Franklin and the City has already granted them a new development at Reese Farm. It is beyond me how this company can be allowed to move forward to other communities while not completing ones they have already started and failed to complete. What they call "landscaping" is not properly grading an area, leaving it horribly rocky and then trying to put seed on it it. Seed does not grow on rock, only weeds grow, again shown by the photos. I am so disappointed with how this company has left our community. Thankful other residents are fed up too and now it's time to go to the City to get things done! It's a shame that we have to do this because Goodall won't do what they promised to do. read more

I had high expectations for Goodall Homes based on their snake oil sales pitch for Waters Edge in Franklin, TN. As a result, I advised my elderly parents to downsize and purchase a Goodall Homes condo set to be under construction in the summer. Prior to the Covidv19 pandemic, my parents signed a contract and provided the $4,200 deposit. Unfortunately 3 weeks later, Covid19 spread exponentially and entire states and businesses were under lockdown. Because of the economic uncertainty, my parents requested out of the contract. Despite being several weeks from breaking ground, no financial cost incurred, and only a 1 hr meeting with their on-site realtor being time spent, Goodall Homes elected to keep their entire deposit. Goodhall Homes contractually could retain their deposit, but very few would agree that it is the "right thing" to do. Especially, when multiple entities are openly sympathetic to the financial environment by delaying car, rent, and other liability payments. Additionally, Goodall's core operating principal listed on their website is "Glorify God" by doing the right think. I guess this is more a loose suggestion as keeping a deposit during a global pandemic and economic collapse is not my definition of the" right thing". It was a costly mistake for my parents,but I only could image the potential disaster that could have occurred during a complex building project with these greedy people. read more

First of all, they are only in it for you money! Anything you need after is like pulling teeth from them. They require videos and photos to be sent in and they judge from there on whether or not they need to respond. It's no longer about customer service, but saving money so that they can put more in their pockets. read more

We purchased our first Goodall home last year here in the Knoxville area. We enjoyed the building process and they did a great job keeping us informed every step of the way. We've had an experience with another major builder in the area (rhymes with smithquilt...haha) and Goodall is a breath of fresh air. We love our new home but we also have wanted a home with a basement forever...so what do you know, Goodall is now building them in our neighborhood. So we're selling our brand new home and buying another one down the street. Has everything been perfect? No...but as close as it can be to perfect considering building homes is an imperfect job. I recommend Goodall to anyone looking for a new home to build. read more

We love our Goodall home! The process could not have gone any smoother. We were told in September that our close date would be January 13th and that never changed and we closed right on time! Any of the minor issues that have come up with a new construction home were taken care of by their warranty department. This home is 1000 sq ft larger than our previous home but the utilities are running about the same if not cheaper! I just feel like it is a good quality home! read more

OMG the worst builder in the entire world. their drywall crakes 1 month after their warranty expires. cheapest toilet installed and you will encounter a problem as soon as you move in, land scaping no good. They dump all constriction trash in the back yard. all in all i give them 2/10. The design center is set up to rip you off and they prejudge you. read more

This builder is an absolutely amazing company. There homes are built with care and with great products. Design center is gorgeous with so many options to choose from. And thankfully, If there is an issue or something wrong, they don't hesitate to fix it. Extremely pleased with how this company builds homes and runs their business. Hayden Hills (Knoxville) My husband and I shopped for more than a year for a builder (and there are several in Knoxville). Things that sold us initially: location, how sound the model home was, most affordable 4 sided elevations, options for floor plans and upgrades. (Thank you to the layout designer who connected the laundry room and master closet!) We did a lot of researching. Carly and her team listened to my dreams as well as what I needed in a home and turned them into a reality. Her team is courteous, timely and most importantly for us, they calmed our anxieties. Everybody I've ever talked to says never build a house because it such a headache. In my opinion, I would 110% do this again over buying. We got exactly what we wanted and stayed in budget. This is not to say there weren't hiccups. There absolutely were but Goodall addressed and pointed them out to us before we noticed them. They fixed everything on their dime in a timely manner. If you're thinking of doing this, ask questions! The team knows their stuff and they are some of the most reassuring advocates. I cannot sing the praises enough of the Goodall team in Knoxville!
